Trump can only become president of a country like the US, where the media (and the Russians ) hold sway. In the UK, France and even China, a neophyte with zero experience in government (apart from numerous failed businesses), with many criminal allegations, can never rise to be a councillor, not to talk of a president or prime minister.

The quality of the US president had been going down for about 2 decades. From an actor (Ronald Reagan) to Bush senior (at least he was CIA director ) to Clinton, then to Bush junior (spoilt brat that used his father's influence) to Obama ( even Obama had just about 7 years experience as a senator with zero executive experience). To me the worst is Trump.

In the near future, these series of bad executive and general political leadership will take a toll on US. Forget the stock market and strong economy. It's the result of decades of momentum that is eventually slowing down. US infrastructure is not improving, the education is not improving, foreign expertrates that drive a significant part of technology and the economy are being driven out by Trump. It's only a matter of time before all these bad decisions will start taking a toll.

I recognise and respect the fact that people react in different ways to the same circumstances. I know some men that their wives cheat openly and to their face and they still accept their wives, while with people like me once is more than enough (except in extraordinary circumstances). I don't cheat and I don't tolerate cheating.

Even during my playing days, I define myself relationships. If it's exclusive, I don't cheat during the relationship.

The fact that you are always away is not enough grounds for cheating. Circumstances change during relationships and marriage. I had been away from home for 6 months and I would not have tolerated my wife cheating based on my long absence. I know couples whose husband is abroad ( USA, UK and Dubai ) and they come home once in 2 or 3 years. That's does not give the wives the excuse to cheat.

Apart from the obvious misogynistic and egocentric issues, cheating by women have other negatives. The most obvious and damaging being the paternity of the children. A man doubting the paternity of a child can have serious consequences on the child and family, even if it was eventually confirmed by a DNA test. It is also psychologically damaging for a man to learn later that a child he invested so much financially and emotionally is not his blood.

No American president has been removed from office instead it will go on and on in the judiciary ( like Andrew Johnson). Whoever controls the senate controls the impeachment. Trump maybe impeached but will never be removed from office.

It is not the duty of the house to remove a president, that's the responsibility of the senate. The house duties stops at impeachment. Impeachment is a sort of indictment, it is the senate that would indict. This would not be the first time the house would impeach but the senate refuses to remove.

Foreign interference in US elections is exactly the type of crimes the impeachment clause was supposed to deal with, but that had been desecrated again and again by Trump. First by asking Russia on live TV to find Hillary missing email ( how? - by hacking of course), then by asking Ukraine to do him a favour and also asking China to investigate hunter and Joe Biden (you would think CIA and FBI is dead or incompetent ).

If she really loved him, she would have reported herself to her mother and solicit the help of the guys Sister to go to the guy's house to do serious begging. She could have used the Christian sentiments of confessing your sin, promising not to sin again and asking for forgiveness.

The end of a thing is actually the beginning of another. I thought I had gotten over all these issue with my ex only to find out she kept to her words.

I got a call from her mom wound 5pm today that I should as a matter of urgency, come to their house. I said OK. I took some few minutes to take somethings in and lock up where I hustle. I got there only to be told my ex attempted suicide by drinking a poisonous substance. To them, all thanks to the immediate younger sis who rushed to her soon to see her writing in pains. A call was put across to the dad who left his office at Lagos brokiri here in portharcourt, rushed down and took her to the new mile one hospital where it was confirmed she was poisoned.
She left a note where she stated I should be held accountable for her death with my phone number. That was how I was invited. (I used to talk to her my before but never with her dad).
The dad told me that I should reserve whatever I have to say to the police tomorrow because the matter has been reported accordingly at mile one police station.

Sorry for the horrible experience of nairaland bans, it mainly due to their bots. If it bans you indiscriminately, your can sometimes report to the mod and the account will be opened almost immediately. It had happened to me twice. Seun need to work on his bots, it will drive some posters away.

Sorry to say, but I feel the whole suicide thing is a scam to blackmail you. She might have taken some poisonous substance, but it was not poisonous enough to kill her, and she knew her sister was around to save her. If she drank sniper or gamalin 20, I am sure she would be dead in before she got to the hospital. Never heard of anyone survive a full bottle of sniper.

If she really loved you and felt she made a genuine mistake, she would have brought her whole family including her aged grandmother to your family house to beg. That's the logical step to take. I am 100% sure you would have forgiven her if she, her mother, sister and 90 year old grandmother knelt down in front of you and your family. Just go to the station with someone with a bit of status, preferably a fairly senior civil servant, military officer or someone with a bit of polia weight. If you have no one, then you need a lawyer.
