Alabaintprice:False. Relatives in fact is vital in making you who you are, except you tell me you dropped from the sky and you eat grass, drink river water, live in the fields and don't wear cloths. Most times sacrifices were made by parents and even siblings to pay for your education. Without your nuclear and extended family, you will not even be alive before you even talk of making money. |
PDJT:You people have no idea of what the UN charter for self determination of indigenous people mean. Kanu ignorantly thinks that by adding the word indigenous to Biafra, UN will grant him a country. Biafra is not recognised by UN as an indigenous people. Biafra in the minds of kanu and some of his igbo kinsmen is simply former eastern Nigeria along with annexing of the oil rich Nigerdelta. Educate yourself and also kanu on what the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, instead of ignorantly thinking it gives igbos the right to secede and take other tribes along with it. The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP or DOTROIP[1])[Note 1][2] delineates and defines the individual and collective rights of Indigenous peoples, including their ownership rights to cultural and ceremonial expression, identity, language, employment, health, education and other issues. It "emphasizes the rights of Indigenous peoples to maintain and strengthen their own institutions, cultures and traditions, and to pursue their development in keeping with their own needs and aspirations".[3] It "prohibits discrimination against indigenous peoples", and it "promotes their full and effective participation in all matters that concern them and their right to remain distinct and to pursue their own visions of economic and social development".[3][4] |
Denland:Same PDP inspired junk. How can Economic Advisory Council replace Economic Management Team? So PDP cannot differentiate between advisory and management? Here are members of the economic management team; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo - Chairman members Minister of Finance Minister of Budget and National Planning Minister of State for Budget and National Planning Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Minister of Agriculture Minister of Information and Culture Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters Director-General of the Budget Office Director-General of the Debt Management Office Director-General of the National Bureau of Statistics And here are members of the economic Advisory council; Prof. Doyin Salami - Chairman Mohammed Sagagi - vice-chairman Ode Ojowu — member Shehu Yahaya — member Iyabo Masha — member Chukwuma Soludo — member Bismark Rewane — member Mohammed Adaya Salisu — secretary. Now tell me how any sane person will say the Economic Advisory Council can replace the Economic Management Team. |
dracosith:What do you mean Sowore is serious with Nigerian? How? To me sowore is just another online blogger, who decided to use his online platform for political gains. I even prefer Linda Ikeji. He ran for president and lost. He formed a coalition with APC to try to defeat PDP in Rivers and lost. He made tons of cash in the process. Now, he is threatening to drive Buhari out of office. Change or revolution starts with an idea. What revolutionary ideas is sowore propagating? |
ContentedK:So the old man is not entitled to his opinion, because it does not all align to yours. Forcing your opinions on other people is called tyranny. |
obixcel:Is Guiliani an FBI agent or CIA? Then after exposing him, what next? Prosecuting and then sentencing him? |
DoctorAlien: |
gidgiddy:He did not call for a protest, he called for an illegal change of government “I’m not talking of protest. I’m embarking on revolution. 85% of Nigerians are in support. Don’t tell me about legal implications or what a Judge will say. I don’t care. We must bundle Buhari out of that place.” - Sowore |
MEJOISLAND:Why not educated us on how many lives he has touched with this fortune, since you are in the know. Bill Gates came all the way from the US, spending millions of dollars to help us eliminate polio that was ravaging our people. I am sure people are still dieing in his village just because of N2000 malaria drug. |
GraGra247:I am sure the parents of this guy is still living in a substandard house in the village. His brothers and sisters are probably living in poverty and begging him for just N1 million naira to start a business. Some of nieces and nephews are begging him for just a few hundred thousand naira for school fees. His village probably don't have good roads, light or portable water. But.. all these will not make him trend. |
OGAPARIS:Courts ke? Thats even if the case makes it to court. The suspects will simply pay bail to police and the very next day, they are back in business. Even if the case makes it to court, once the suspects are granted bail, the case would linger for years, if not completely forgotten. Jungle justice is a symptom of a lack of trust in the criminal justice system. |
Psalmy2cute:Same old tired IPOB lines. Anybody who says they are not interested in Biafra must be Fulani or Yoruba. I also give you one assignment. Get your people together and carry a placard in Udu with the inscription "Urhobos support Biafra " and see what will happen to you. In the alternative, you can advise Kanu to organize a Biafran rally anywhere in warri. |
Psalmy2cute:I am from warri, I go home very often. I have never heard any itsekiris or Urhobos talk about joining Biafra. In fact the youths and elders have come out numerous times to dissociate themselves from Biafra. It's only in nairaland, you will see a phantom Urhobo claiming Biafra. |
Psalmy2cute:That you were born and raised in warri does not make you Urhobo. Urhobos and it itsekiris would never leave the binis to join the igbos if it gets to the crunch. |
Conner44:Delta was never part of the old eastern region, it was first part of the western region and then Midwestern region. |
Psalmy2cute:Which south south region is going with them? The same way the south south went with them during the first attempt? Keep dreaming. |
Preciousgirl:My 8 year old believe in the tooth fairy 10000%. He sees tooth fairy in cartoons and also reads about them in story books. Every time his milk tooth falls out, tooth fairy puts N500 under his pillow (of course that's me sneaking in when his deep asleep and putting it there). He can't understand why other kids don't believe in tooth fairies. Well, the atheists are here, tell them something to convince themNo need to tell, show them, with physical evidence. People have telling incredulous stories from ancient days. Here is mine:You have seen... But where is the proof. Where is the witness report from the contractor and others. At least the contractor won't be paid until the tree is felled and evacuated. Just because you said you have seen, doesn't mean it's true. Even Thomas demanded for physical proof before he believed Jesus resurrected, and he was a disciple. |
gidgiddy:But when people say kanu and Shekau are birds of the same feather, you will disagree. We don't have make the same mistake made with boko haram by waiting for 200,000 people to die before curtailing IPOB and their threats of violence. |
DRPAIT123:Big brother's house, big brother rules. Big brother chooses who to admit and who to evict or disqualify. Big brother evicted house mates within the first week based on game of chance and coins. Big brother can decide to disqualify housemates in the final week. They pay the piper, the dictate the tune. No one is forcing millions of youths to queue for auditions and no one is forcing you to watch. If you are so angered by big brothers actions, create your own big brother or big sister and create your own rules. |
Remimadrid:Even if Nigeria breaks into a thousand pieces, the same problem will still surface. The problem of Nigeria is not necessary the structure or form of government, it's the people. The value system of its people is warped. Nigeria values vanity, greed, avarice, sudden wealth, unmerited rewards instead of integrity, honesty, hard work and merit based reward system. We have tried parliamentary system, it failed. We tried military system, it failed. We tried presidential system, it failed. We tried military system again, it failed. We tried presidential system again, it's failing. So which system shall we try next? We started out with four region structure, it failed. We tried a four state unitary system, it fails. ( shouts of marginalisation by minorities abound ) We tried 12 state structure, shouts of marginalisation increased. We tried 19 state structure, still shout of marginalisation by minorities. Ditto for 21 state structure. Now, with a 36 state structure, you will think shouts of marginalisation will cease, but alas it is getting worse. Even the major tribes are now crying marginalisation and not just minority tribes. So what political structure can we practice without shouts of marginalisation from one tribe or the other. I am of the opinion that we cannot restructure our political structure without restructuring our value system. |
Ogalanyachieze: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0jE1nQDLq8 “I’m a Biafran and we are going to crumble the zoo. Some idiots who are not educated said that they’ll arrest me, and I ask them to come. I’m in Biafra land. If any of them leaves Biafra land alive know that this is not IPOB. Tell them that’s what I said. - Kanu Kumuyi should be stonned and dealt with thoroughly if he comes to Aba for his planned crusade....." Kanu “Nigeria is a zoo and everybody living in that Godforsaken zoo deserves to die” - kanu “Nigeria should prepare for war, we are coming to annihilate you, my secret service are already studying the zoo and strategising.” - kanu |
expert234:Between you and I, who is a slave? Who is crying day and night to be free from oppression. Just pray that the same fulani you are begging for your freedom grants you one willingly. I don't want you to waste another 3 million lives fighting for your freedom. A simple memorial, you guys turn into tribal mud fight. |
expert234:I really feel sorry for you guys. You guys need serious psychiatric help. You see fulanis and Yorubas in your dreams and waking hours 24 hours a day. You cannot take any action without bringing in Yorubas and Fulanis. It seems the main purpose the memorial is being organised to antagonise the Yorubas and Fulanis, instead of the actual pains of the loss. |
expert234:What concerns Yoruba again with a memorial of civil war casualties. Can't you guys do your own thing without mentioning Yorubas or Fulanis? You guys need to exorcise the Yoruba and Fulani demons tormenting you day and night. |
Shaprara:In one breath you say once you are sacked, your contract become null and void, and in the next breath you said you can claim your outstanding payments based on the contract you said has become null and void. You say she owes BBnaija not obligation whatsoever because the contract she signed is voided by the disqualification, but BBnaija is to pay her entitlements based on the contract. I doubt BBnaija is holding her hostage because of her refusal to grant interviews, afterall she was not the first person to be disqualified by BBnaija, and the other ones were not required to grant interviews at their hotel rooms not to talk of being held hostage. |
cityprince:Revolution ke? Where nollywood, Davido and choima, Ned and regina daniels, BBnaija dey to distract our youths. |
Iamgrey5:Obviously. Can she even spell disqualification? |
