we all know buhari does not understand anything about economics but the whole that no one from the whole presidency pointed this out is more worrisome.
You that understand economics should tell us the economic implication of massive smuggling of rice, turkey and other food items through neighbouring countries.

Rice importation was not banned. Only the stoppage of smuggling at land borders.

We have become so use to crime, that we think criminal activities are now the norm.

Rosskiki:
You are IGNORANT beyond words. Try to research before commenting on things you know NOTHING about. Such as your dumb claim that ''almost all infrastructure in Africa was built by colonisers''. Name ONE road in Nigeria that you know was built by the colonialists. JUST ONE. Not to mention expressways or power stations. ANSWER: 0. EVERYTHING you see in Nigeria today by way of infrastructure was built by NIGERIANS after independence, not the British colonialists.

The South Africa you are writing about, you are similarly clueless. The ONLY reason SA is advanced today is that the colonialists who seized power a couple hundred years ago there REINVESTED that country's export proceeds from gold, into the country, such that by the 1940s, SA was already a developed country. They built their first universities as early as the 1880s!! Same as power stations, roads, bridges, rail networks etc. The reason the colonialists did this was because there was a huge white settler community there that regarded SA as their country.

Now contrast this with what the colonialists did in their fully black African territories. All we see is exploitation and near ZERO investment of export earnings in the respective countries, including Nigeria, which only got her first university in 1962, AFTER the end of white rule. Her first power plant was built in 1964 and commissioned by the Balewa govt. Prior to that there was NO NATIONAL GRID. The whites simply imported industrial generators to power the areas they lived in like Ikoyi and GRAs around the nation.

So the rest of black Africa is playing catch up to SA because we only started developing in the 1960s, AFTER INDEPENDENCE, while SA has been developing and building itself up since the 1800s.
I totally agree with you that we were disadvantaged from the beginning. The British were only interested in exploitation and not development. But.. God gave us amply opportunity to develop ourselves better, but we blew it. The country was awash with petrol dollars not long after independence, what did we do? We were more interested in stupid power play and greed. We had no vision whatsoever on building a developed society. We took to primitive impulses of crass materialism and consumption without building a productive base. We did not invest in developmental education like science and technology, but only interested in educational degrees and titles. We dug ourselves into a hole that is very difficult to get out.

The British were masters of manipulation. Have you ever wondered how a very small country like Britain with a tiny population was able to colonized India, a continent on its own with massive population (and I am not talking about present day India alone, but with Pakistan and Bangladesh ). They simply played the people against each other. So you can never divorce from the instability from local power play and greed. The British needed to play the tribes and region against each other to obtain and retain power. Even the religion you are talking about is part of the tool the British used to divide us. Ever wonder why the British had better relations and favoured the Islamic north?

The British never bothered to build schools and the missionaries built schools to convert children to Christianity, so where did you expect the people to obtain developmental education like science and technology from?

It's not inferiority complex, it's the reality on the ground. All black African communities are doing poorly.

African history is the richest and most productive in the history of human kind; in itself begins in Africa.
Which history? Is it history written for us by outsiders or history written by our own historians.

All the best inventions in the world are mainly those of the African. i.e Architecture, Art, Commerce, Literacy, Numeracy, Philosophy, Science e.t.c
Why not list the best inventions created by black Africa? Where are the architectural masterpieces, where are the literature, science, Numeracy of black Africa stored. The oldest written texts (cuneiform texts) were found in Iraq. Where is our own?
According to history, humanity began in Africa and our ancestors went on to populated the other continents.
Yes humans is said to have began in Africa, but those that left fared much better than those left behind.

Presidential polls: Tribunal confirms Jonathan’s victory

ABUJA—Respite came the way of President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday, as the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja, in a unanimous judgment , upheld results of the April 16 presidential election that brought him into power.

A five-man panel of justices that presided over a petition that was lodged before the tribunal by the opposition Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, yesterday, said they were satisfied that President Jonathan and his Vice, Namadi Sambo, won the presidential election and were duly returned by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in accordance with both the Electoral Act and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Delivering the lead judgment yesterday, chairman of the tribunal, Justice Kumai Bayaang Akaahs, held that the petitioner failed to substantiate its allegation that the presidential poll was fraught with manifest irregularities that substantially affected the result of the election.

Relying on sections 131, 132, 134, 159(1) of the Evidence Act and Supreme Court decided case law in Buhari vs. Obasanjo, Justice Akaahs maintained that the petitioner did not discharge the burden of proof, stressing that all the witness depositions and evidences adduced before the court by CPC, amounted to hearsay.

The tribunal equally discountenanced oral testimonies of 46 witnesses of the CPC who had alleged that President Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, connived with corrupt electoral officials and rigged election in 22 states of the federation.

Though the court noted that the allegation was criminal in nature, it however dismissed it on grounds that it was not supported by empirical evidence.

1) Nigeria as it is now has no geographical boundaries. It only exist on paper. You can walk from Nigeria to any neighboring country that you want.
Nigeria has defined map. The map is everywhere.

Of course you can walk from any country to any other country you want. You can walk from any west African country to any other without restrictions. Same with Europe. I don't get this point at all.
2) Biafra does have geographical boundaries on paper just like Nigeria. It available on google. But that geographical boundaries will be adjusted in the future according to the will of the people. Those who want to be part of the modern Biafra will join while those who don’t want to be will be cut off.
Who created the geographical boundaries of Biafra and how was it arrived at? I have seen all sorts of proposed maps, with some including parts of Benue and former Bendel. There are others with only the 5 igbo states.

You even agreed with me that Biafra is very fluid by saying the boundaries will be adjusted in the future. Maybe it will include kogi along with benue.

3) definition of ideology from the Merriam-Webster

1a : a manner or the content of thinking characteristic of an individual, group, or culture
b : the integrated assertions, theories and aims that constitute a sociopolitical program
c : a systematic body of concepts especially about human life or culture
2 : visionary theorizing
1b, 1c and 2 are definitely off the definition of ideology in relation to IPOB. Only 1a can be remotely linked to IPOB's definition of ideology, which is " Nigeria is a zoo, so we want to go".

4) When in Rome, act like the Romans. Biafrans outside of Biafra will have to abide by the laws of the land that they travel to. Common sense.
I thought you said "Total political, social and economical freedom of Biafrans", how can all Biafrans be totally free economically, socially and politically, when some are acting like Romans?

The hatred started from him. He hates Buhari, Yoruba Fulani and anyone who disagree with his views, including fellow igbos (in that order).

Kanu has not done anything to show he believes in equity, justice and equal representation for the economic and social welfare of the people, outside what he mouths on radio and social media. How has IPOB demonstrated that he believes in those principles, when it is run like a dictatorship.

If Biafra ever materialise and kanu it's leader, the country will not be different from North Korea.

Total political, social and economical freedom of Biafrans. Its as simple as that.
First of all, Biafra is a very nebulous term. The geographical boundaries and people is not defined.

Secondly, political, social and economical freedom is not an ideology. Secession is not an ideology.

Thirdly, it's not possible for all Biafrans to be politically, socially and economically free. Millions of Biafrans in foreign lands will have to abide by the political, social and economic laws of wherever they resides, except you suggest all Biafrans should relocate home.

Lastly, Total political, social and economical freedom is a state of anarchy. It doesn’t exist.

Don’t forget that Uwazurike before his downfall started in the 90s to early 2000s. Kanu used to be a member of MASSOB.

It’s hard to kill an ideology. The only way to kill an ideology is through superior reasoning, something Nigeria is clearly incapable of.

All they have been saying like idiots is “the unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable”

Fruit juice cannot be stored at room temperature without fermentation beginning immediately. After a few hours after juicing, fruit juice would have significant alcohol. Ordinary zobo that is left overnight can make a light headed person tipsy.

Besides fruits are seasonal, so the OP is suggesting that wine (which misinterpret as fruit juice) can only be available few months of the year, since ordinary storage concerts it to alcohol.

Ok firstly osun states federal allocation is 1.7 billon naira so lets assume multiply it by 12 months and then 20 years that amounts to 20.4 billion annually times 20 years and thats 408 billion and its roughly ($1billion). Deji has several jets with the most expensive been $35 million. As at 2017 he had a public net worth of $700 million dollars. Guy check how much it costs to purchase just the generator to power an average power plant in Nigeria.. He has not just one but two for his power generating station. I know Osun internally generates 300 to 700 million naira which amounts to nothing if it ever did Aregbesola wont owe workers 9 months salary and lastly there are other things cant pt here which constitutes his major resources. So in all these osun fed allocation and internal revenue, how much percent do you think a sitting governor can loot if given 20 years to rule? You can add Ekiti too if you want. So stop been rash and use your head
300 to 700 million naira internally generated revenue amount to nothing? That's 3.6 to 8.4 billion naira a year and between 144 billion to N4 trillion naira over a 40 years period you Davido is biasing about.
If davido's dad is richer that osun state time 40, then where did he make his money from? Certainly he could not have made his money from the same osun state.
If osun state makes average of N2.2 billion monthly and adeleke must be making more than that, meaning even if all osun's GDP is given only to adeleke, it will not make him have more cash than the state.

Please answer this question, what goods and services does Adeleke sell to Osun that makes him 40 times richer than Osun state?
If Tinubu says he is richer than Lagos, it is believable as he collects a percentage of Lagos IGR (between 5 - 10%).I am sure Tinubu even collects a percentage of Osun IGR but Adeleke source of money is unknown .

Osun state collect and average of N20 billion and generate close to N10 billion in IGR yearly. if we add up all the money Osun makes in a year, it will approximate N30 billion.

So therefore (in the voice of chief zebudaya, alias 4.30), Davido's father has made N30billion x 40 which equals N1.2 trillon, which approximate 3.3 billion dollars.
