Whoever supported the genocide against Igbos, because of the coup allegedly planned by Igbo officers in 1966, should also support a genocide against Fulanis, because Fulani herdsmen have been actually terrorizing fellow Nigerians without any provocation today.

“A total of 1,596,161 candidates registered for the examination from 18,639 recognised secondary schools in Nigeria.

Of that number, 1,590,173 candidates sat for the examination, among which 822,098 were male while 768,075 were female, representing 51.70 per cent and 48.30 per cent respectively.

“No fewer than 1,309,570 candidates representing 82.35 per cent obtained credit and above in a minimum of any five subjects, i.e with or without English Language and/or Mathematics; while 1,020,519 candidates, representing 64.18 per cent, obtained credits and above in a minimum of five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

“Of this number, 507,862, that is 49.77 per cent, were males and 512,657, that is 50.23 per cent, were female candidates.

“The percentage of candidates in this category in the WASSCE for School Candidates was 50 per cent in 2018,” Adenipekun said.

The WAEC Nigeria boss further disclosed that the results of 1,468,071 candidates, representing 92.32 per cent of candidates that sat for the examination, were fully processed; while 122,102, representing 7.68 per cent of candidates that sat for the examination had a few of their subjects still being processed.

The curious thing about this year's figures is we are not seeing cancelled or withheld result. Are they telling us there were zero exam malpractice this year?

During the end of session party at my children's school last Thursday, the proprietor told us, that students that went to sit for the junior WAEC exams came back and complained that at the examination Hall students from other schools came with their teachers to help them with the exams. They were the only students that came alone. The proprietor told us, she does not condone exam malpractices.
Tomorrow WAEC will say they have 99% pass in their junior WAEC exams.

Gowon simply added to the states created by Ironsi, he was not the one that abolished the region's and converted them to states.

Ojukwu was appointed military governor of the Eastern Region of Nigeria by Aguiyi Ironsi, what does that tell you? When premiere is changed to governor, what does that tell you? General Ironsi destroyed the region's and converted them to states under a unitary government. That was why decree 34 of 1966 was called the unification decree. That decree created a unitary "one nigeria".

It is not a federation or a confederation. It is governed only with a treaty which is even yet to be ratified by the various states. It does not have a constitution. All a country has to do to leave the union is give notice as specified in the treaty. It is left for the EU and the leaving country to negotiate terms of leaving. If agreements are not reached the country will just leave. This can't happen peacefully, if it was an actual political entity. Texas cannot decide to leave the United States without serious conflict.

England is not divided politically along tribal lines. There are no nation states like saxons nation, anglia nation,,cell nation, etc in England. England is politically divided for administrative convenience and not for tribal convenience.

EU started out as an economic union, but morphed into a quasi political union, yet it is still not a sovereign state. They are all still independent sovereign states with some having different monetary, defence and foreign policy.
You should be comparing EU with ECOWAS and not any federation or confederation. The EU is governed by treaty and not a constitution.

4. B4 gowon truncated the 4 regions, each region has a prime minister (called premiere) who is appointed by the gov and reports to the parliament. In u.k each country (yes, country) that forms it has a ''first minister'' who is actually a prime minister for that region. The regional prime minister have areas they dont have power such foreign affairs, currency, military, federal police, environment, customs etc.

It was not Gowon that truncated the 4 regions, it was General Aguiyi Ironsi through Unification Decree 34 of 1966. Before that decree, each region was governed by a premier and was semi autonomous. At the centre, the prime minister was the head of government and was supposed to report to the president. But the British ensured the president was useless and only ceremonial by conferring the head of state on the prime minister, which was an anomaly, a minister should be reporting to the president and not the other way round.

You really need to get some education on Nigeria's history.
