How did you know that some animals have sex with opposite gender just for pleasure?

the old testament has got nothing to do with the new testament....they are basically 2 different religions. and ideologies..it is explicitly stated in the old testament time and time again.. ''God is not a man''...and had no intention of making a woman pregnant to bear a son or child. the first commandment specifically warned them not to serve any other God beside this particular God that choose the Jews ( Deuteronomy 32:7) ..he choose them, they where his people and he was their God..they Jews knew they were other Gods but only worship this particular God. to worship another was punishable by death and to worship a man was a big idolatry to the Jews, this particular God warned them not to make any idol of him.the Romans where surprised that when they got to the temple in Jerusalem, they did not find any..they only stole their writ tings( law and prophets)

I am a Young man in my late 20s but ever since i was about 15 uptil now, I have been having this dreams about rapture...
It got to a point where my late uncle even appared to me in the dream and was showing me what the Day of rapture would look like...

Some days ago same dream reoccured and this time it was so real that i got up after the dream and couldnt believe we are still in the world...

The broblem is i cant say that i am born again And in those dreams which occure almost three to four times a year for the past years i only happen to have raptured trice...

This last one was so terrifying and real... I dont know if there is any other person on this issue with me... And is there something i can do concerning it pls advice

Using the law court in your defence is erroneous because the law court is not about truths but who can argue facts better even if those facts are lies ...why do you think lawyers are fondly called liars?

If I see a man killed and in a pool of blood and the murder weapon is right there and I ignorantly pick it up while yelling for help for the dying man. People on the scene would say they saw nobody else except me and my prints are all over the weapon and the victims blood is on me.

The law would find me guilty since my defence has no witnesses for me but is that judgment based on truth or facts on falsehood?

I Really regret that this will be my first post since joining Nairaland 2011.
Anyway back to topic., I just got into this neighborhood recently, only few people know me, the one's that even know me, knows only my first name Princewill

So I was returning from Church this morning, when I met this mad man, he was literally standing on the way, just as I was about to pass, he called out 'Ejyk nwa-eze nwa-okegwo biko chorom something'

I was transfixed, not only did he call my name, but he even called upto my Grandpa's name;

For the records, it's only my Grandpa (now late) that calls me just like this mad man did.

I told a friend of mine who lives in the same area and he told me that's a regular occurrence with that particular mad man.

I really want to know if there is any logical explanation to this or maybe atheists can help me unravel this mystery

When i first watched benny hinn ministration on Tv i was spiritually empowered and motivated to be like him.I prayed fervently for such awesome gift of signs and wonders.I went to a particular church to minister could you believe that during my ministration when the power of God came down the whole place was electrified and full of His presence.The congregation could not withstand the power of His Glory and i was to see them falling down to the glory of His name and miracles taking place.That is the awesome power of God.

But if churches should do as you said and invest in Agriculture, it is these same Nigerians and mostly Christians that will say they are business men not true men of God. Some will even want the Agricultural products to be distributed free,the way they are clamouring for church schools to be free.

Today's Nigeria economy is really becoming uninteresting and a bit sickening, this has made me ponder so much and left me totally confused. I have asked myself what are the roles of today's believers? Joseph was a man that God used to plan for the raining days of a country and he saved an entire country and his family from Famine. Jesus Christ fed 5000 women, and performed lot of miracles. With these and many more I am totally convinced that the church is fully Empowered to solve the present predicament Nigeria is in.

Please don't get me wrong, I appreciate the efforts of various churches in organizing leadership and empowerment seminars eg Daystar Leadership conference, Convent Centre's -The Platform, RCCG Conventions, Winners' Shiloh, TREM's Kingdom Life Conference etc. However, what the country need from the church at this point is way beyond that.
All through the remaining period of the year, October, November, Decemeber churches will be filled up with Church goers praying to close the year 2016 strongly and start the year 2017 in a much better way! And believe me the church gives so much hope to those with faith and believes! After this Hope, Faith and Believe what more? Empowerment seminars and Leadership trainings? Is that enough? No that isn't enough! We need churches that can use its might to solve particular problem(s) of the country.

I remember few years ago Daystar came up with a project to ensure Nigerians enjoy constant power supply, but we never heard about the campaign anymore. We have also heard of Pastors vying for political positions to assist in solving the national problems, what a fantastic step,however the Bible clearly identify to us not to " yoke with unbelievers".

Then how do I want the church to be a game changer? It is simple, why can't we have one or 2 churches going into mainstream agriculture as part of their missionary work, most of them raise funds for missionary works outside the country with minimal or no ROI(mind you I know it is not meant for profit) , but it is long overdue for the big churches to start venturing in solving real life problems and not "educational" problems alone.

It is worthy to note that great professionals are "church goers" and they can give their services to churches on Pro bono, with this churches can have an industry of their choice for the purpose of solving problems.

The time has come to not only buy Private jets (in dollars and putting pressure on the Forex) importing church equipment in Billions of Naira etc

We can truly show the world "how missionary work can be done" not just by opening schools alone and the graduate of the schools not even having any paid employment.

I have a strong feeling that the church has the right solution to Nigeria's problems.
