neocortex:I doubt Trump can win the popular vote. Even then, the people you say are fed up with the system are backing up the wrong tree. The problem is Globalization and the triumph of Capitalism over socialism. Under this new world order, Governments do not have the responsibility to provide the masses with anything, the governments collude with big corporations to rip off the masses. Gone are the days when we expect government to provide, clean drinking water, Well equipped hospitals, Good schools for our children, Good public transportation system, etc. You are to provide all these yourself or get these services from private companies at rip off prices. That is why i do not understand how people blame Buhari for the high price of Garri, rice and Tomatoes. Government no longer get directly with agriculture. I do not understand how Trump can change the staus quo, when he has gained enormously from the system. He made his money from rigging the system. |
Anas09:You really talk like someone with some serious psychological issues, you seem more concerned with your negative wishes for others than to think positive thoughts and actions on how to improve your own life. Your personal or acquired God is your own God and is not the concern of any other person. Only you people and Muslims try to force your God on others. Even in the Bible, the Israelites recognized the rights of others to worship their own God, Yahweh was personal to them and did not force their neighbours to worship yahweh. It was only fellow Israelites what were forbidden from worshiping other Gods. I still ask, which ear did Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Pastor Chris Okotie's wives cry to when they were crying as a result of a failing marriage? |
shachris02:It is you that is completely ignorant. When big businesses make losses, we know the reason apart from knowing the total value of the company. Apple will make loss if their product fails to sell as expected. Dangote made loss simply because of devaluation of the naira. Now, tell me why did Trump make a loss of $1 billion in 1985 and what was his total loss then? This was someone that had declared for bankruptcy a record six times (not 3 as i previously thought) During her speech on the economy this week, Hillary Clinton blasted Donald Trump as a bad businessman.Trump does not need to employ tax administrators because he pays no tax, had not done so for the past 18years. So you know trump is worth $3billion? you must be only one that knows trump's worth as trump himself said he does not know, he speculates he is worth closer to $10 billion. |
Hard times are the best times to collect tithes and offerings. The more desperate people get, the more they can be manipulated to give the little they have. With the doctrine of "the more you give, the more you get from god", Sow more to reap more", Challenge God" etc. The poor desperate person will even steal to place a divine wager. It is the rich that finds it more difficult to pay tithes and offerings (especially those that make their money legitimately), those one are aware that riches depends on hard work, discipline and good money management. Churches in poor countries and in depressed economies are usually richer than churches in poor countries with booming economies. |
Vick4rill:wrong illustration. If my friend turns to being a notorious criminal, we will stop being friends. I will not even talk to him not to talk of advising or warning him. Are you now comparing atheists to criminals? Are all atheists criminals and all Christians non criminals? In that Case, you are insinuating only atheists are in Nigerian jails. Atheism, christianity, islam, olumba-olumba, ifa are just religious views just as communism, socialism, PDP, APC, etc are political views. There is little correlation with criminality. |
bayelsaowei:Which democracy are you defending? Your idea of democracy is strictly restricted to defending anyone this government accuses of corruption. Please show me evidence or even allegation of corruption by the DSS (even under Jonathan). We knew Meryln Ogar was highy unethical, but nobody accused her of bribery and corruption. So Buhari is now responsible for what anybody close to him is accused of? If someone commits a crime, the most sensible thing to do is gather your evidence and send a petition to relevant authorities. Even if the authorities fail to act, you can make your petition with evidences public and send the petition to higher authorities like the national assembly or presidency. If all fails wait until a new government comes into power and re-present your petition. a crime does not have status of limitation. That is why the Halliburton scandal has troubled every government since Obasanjo and one day, those affected will have to answer in a court. What i hate is the argument by corruption defenders that any corrupt person should not be prosecuted because you suspect another person (maybe close to the president) is suspected of corruption. |
shadeyinka:You talk as if christian couples do not divorce or have the same issues every other couples has. So why do christian marriages breakdown (including those of some G.Os) when the wife could run to God to solve their marital problems? I have been married to a Christian for over 10 years (with children) and religion has never been an issue. In fact it is I who encourages her to go to church whenever she does not feel like going. Her pastor is close to the family and has made it know to him that i am not interested. They all respect my view and i respect theirs. |
Vick4rill:You are only attempting to justify your hatred for people who reject your religious ideas (and probably other social, political and moral ideas also). You are termed a bigot. How can you hate the way a person reason and avoid them like plague without hating their person? I am sure you also hate the way Gays, Hindus and Ifa worshipers reason and avoid them like plague. With the way you people are talking, there should be a separate community for Christians, Muslims, Atheists, Etc. They should not mix or relate to each other. You should not buy goods or services rendered by an atheist or receive anything from them. |
shachris02:Please educate us on who the real Americans are voting for, Someone who has never administered a county before or held any administrative position? Trump is just a rich spoilt racist, chauvinistic white kid, who defrauds and beats the system. How come he made a loss of $1 billion in one year and made profits (or refuse to disclose is balance) in subsequent years? All trump activities are fraudulent. |
Izonpikin:Not corrupt by the presidency, influenced by the presidency. I do not think i have heard any bribery or corruption allegation against DSS. Which madness? Maybe we should divide this country along corruption lines. Those that celebrate and see corruption as a state policy and are ready to defend corruption with their lives should get their country and those that hate corruption with all their soul should get another country. There is growing hatred and animosity between these two groups. The hatred transcends tribal, religious and political divides. |
US has really sunk to a new low. I am shocked that a man who has failed to pay taxes for almost 20 years, declared bankruptcy twice, divorced twice, kwown sex predator, known racist and someone who has zero experience in any administrative position is running for the president of the US. |
I am sure the government decided to use DSS to investigate and arrest the suspected judges because of trust issues. The EFCC has been enmessed in corruption allegations, in fact the former EFCC chairman is on the run for corruption. EFCC officials are accused of colluding with corrupt politicians and judges to frustrate corruption cases. Corruption in the police is a way of life, that was why EFCC was formed in the first place. |
The judiciary is the pillar on which any democracy (if not any society) rests. The Nigerian judiciary is highly implicated in the mess we found ourselves now. It was the judiciary that gave a midnight judgement that IBB used as an excuse for truncating the aborted third republic. It was the judicuary that gave inec passmark for conducting an election with ballot papers without serial numbers. It was the judiciary that gave Odili a perpetual injunction against investigation and prosecution of allegations of looting Rivers State dry. The judiciary has been the major clog in the wheel of Nigeria's social, Democratic and business development. I can't say whether or not this current crackdown on judges is justified or not, but something drastic needs to be done to stem the rot in the judiciary. Jerry Rawlings had to take drastic measures to sanitize Ghana. We also need some sort of drastic measures ( but not violence) to sanitize Nigeria. |
gidgiddy:But when Ekwueme was VP to a Fulani man, Nigeria was a nation then. When he got together with other GS ( was it G13 or G19) and formed the PDP, Nigeria was a nation then, when he was lobbying to be President, he was lobbying to lead a nation then. When the party he helped created was looting Nigeria blind, Nigeria was a nation then. When Ebele was President and appointed Igbo's into major positions, Nigeria was nation then. But as soon as buhari became president and igbos lost their juicy positions in government, he suddenly realized Nigeria is not a nation. So it was Buhari that stopped Nigeria from becoming a nation. |
blueto:Stop lying or pretending you cannot read English. Re-read what you posted and comprehend what it says. No where in the report did it insinuate that subsidy payments were from the FG's share of the revenue allocations. The money for subsidy, sure-P, IPP projects, Extra budgetary allocations and the excess crude account/Sovereign wealth fund were deducted at source, before the money was distributed to the 3 tiers of government. And people like you have the audacity to call Lai Mohammed a liar. |
This is the koko of the whole article; The statement from the federal ministry of Finance noted that the “figures show that they (states) received N966.6 billion in 2011, N816.3billion in 2012, N859.4 billion in 2013 and N282.8 in 2014. Total = N2,925 trillionThe question is what did the Okonjo Iweala do with the N3.29 trillion that was shared to the FG, and why did Okonjo Iweala not save the FG share of the Excess Crude Accounts, Why was she so obsessed with sharing the Governor's share? Afterall her own share is more than the Governor's share. |
adjoviomole:I doubt. The Eskimo already has fur (albeit artificial ones), without it the Eskimo would not have survived in the arctic environment in the first place.
|
4everGod1:Are you sure you know what you are talking about? Lunagi helps keep babies warm while in the mother's womb? Do you have an idea of the temperature of the mothers womb? Do you know that a foetus passes through the evolutional history ( appearance that is) within its 9 months developmental period. Within that period it has a gill and a tail. All these disappear as it form fully into a human baby. |
The OP has no clue on what evolution is, but copy and paste irrelevant articles without even reading or understanding it and then tries to use it to discredit evolution to promote his creation doctrine. Where did you get the stupid idea that coalecanth is the missing link between fish and land animals? Please Google and read up on the mudskipper. Where will you place amphibians? |
adjoviomole:The Eskimo only recently moved to their cold icy habitat ( less than 10,000 years). That is not enough time to naturally adapt completely to the cold environment, and besides as oga Seun rightly pointed out, the Eskimos survive by borrowing the furs of animals adapted to the cold. Without animal furs, Eskimo would not have survived in the artic environment, they would have gone extinct or migrated to warmer climate. Humans evolved out of Africa, so there was no need of furs. Having said that, the ones that migrated to colder regions had to evolve physical adaptations that enabled them cope better with the cold, like long straight hairs, white pale skin, long narrow pointed nose, smaller lips, etc. |
Because the average Igbo man loves Jonathan more than the Ijaws |
DoctorAlien:What is the meaning of eternal loss? How can one lose what one never had? You people force down salvation through our throats. We never needed salvation the white man brought salvation by force. |
DoctorAlien:So you are insinuating that there were no rainbows before the flood, meaning there were no rains before the flood? |
DoctorAlien:Salvation na by force? Ok, salvation from who or what? Salvation from God's anger? |
lordnicklaus:The heaviest naturally occurring element is uranium, anything heavier than uranium is man made (as far as we know). Polonium with an atomic number of 84 is lighter that uranium with an atomic number of 92. At the start of the universe there was only hydrogen and a little amount of helium. Hydrogen clouds coalesce together to form first generation stars. These stars consists mainly of hydrogen and a little helium. Through a process known as nuclear fussion, hydrogen atoms in the cores of these stars fuse to form heavier elements, ie hydrogen helium, lithium, beryllium, etc., up till uranium on the periodic table. These stars burn out fast and explodes in a supernova, spewing its contents into the universe. These newly formed heavier elements then mix with more hydrogen clouds to form second generation stars (solar systems). The sun and planets formed from such a gas cloud would contain heavier elements like metals, including polonium and uranium. These second generation stars are very stable and live very long life. |
shadeyinka:Gosh. Nigeria's educational sector has degenerated to such a level that a so called student of physics has no idea of the definition of Time, and is not able to learn. Once again; Time is a consequence of the relationship between speed and space , without space there cannot be time. In other words if space is zero, time is also zero. Furthermore at the speed of light, time becomes zero (from the view of a stationary observer). It is very sad, a so called physics student does not know or understand these simple facts. shadeyinka:Gosh, see more embarrassing ignorant rants. Who is talking about coulombic forces? you asked; What is the probability that an isolated electron and an isolated proton (assuming that only these two make up the H atom) would self assemble itself to form Hydrogen?and i told you that the force of gravity between the proton and electron alone will eventually make the two particles collide in a confined space (i have not even considered the electrostatic force between the proton and electron), and you are talking about coulombic force. On a nuclear scale, the proton is massive, it is over 1800 times more massive than the electron, so we expect the proton to have a huge gravitational effect on the electron. The sun's gravity affects planets and comets in the far reaches of our solar system and you do not think a proton would not have gravitational effect on an electron. |
shadeyinka:Which physics tell you that a creator must exist? You obviously have little idea of the physics you claim you studied. What do you mean by move closer to time = 0? Time is a consequence of speed and space, so time can only be 0 if space equals 0 or if speed equals c. Space can only equal zero inside a singularity and of course physical laws cannot hold inside a singularity. I do not have the time to teach you basic fundamental physics. |
lordnicklaus:Yes the evolution of universe is continuous. The universe started out with simple elements of hydrogen and helium and evolved to produce heavier elements up to uranium. |
shadeyinka:The probability that an isolated electron and an isolated proton (in a confined space) would self assemble itself to form Hydrogen is 1. This is because of the factor of gravity. Gravity would make the proton and election drift towards each other until they collide/merge/ coalesce. |
Classic case of myopia mixed with ignorance. So who removed food from the mouth of Nigerians from the 70s. In the mid 70s, half kobo (N0.5) will get a primary school child a full launch of rice, beans and meat, but today, half kobo cannot get you 10 grains of rice. Before this Democratic dispensation, N10 will get you 10 of those biscuits you are buying for N10 each now, so who took food from the month of kids then? So you expect Buhari to bake biscuits for your kids or impose a price on biscuits produced by private companies? If your kids love biscuits that much and cannot live without it, then bake it yourself. It is simplier than you imagine. In the alternative, you could try snacks made with local materials. As long as biscuits are produced with imported flour, imported sugar and imported energy, not to talk of imported materials for packaging, it will continue to follow the value of the dollar. |

that's the most ignorant statement i've heard yet. Watch trump come up stronger after this like he always does. Stop watching CNN. There ratings are crap in America. Real americans know who they are voting for.
