While also supporting your opinion, GEJ also fought corruption in most areas where some Nigerians are blind to see , may be because of ethnicity I may say. GEJ policies brought about the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) that was also used to vote him out. This made corruption during registration and voting to be reduced. His administration brought about the BVN. Also in the banking sector, corruption were fought to the point of some banks liquidating.

What a government should do is to put in mechanism that will fight corruption. The freedom of right to information is also a great policy that was aim to fighting corruption. Before a government can even probe a person, there must be a petition aganist such person. Go to court and see cases of the so-called corruption lacking prove for the cases to be prosecuted.

Fighting corruption is not on the pages of newspapers or via intimidation, but proper anti-corruption policies well implemented is the only wayout

Godbless Nigeria!
Bolded is greatest fallacy of the century? GEJ fought corruption by pardoning convicted corrupt officials, abi? He fought corruption by protecting Stella Oduah, who was indicted by a panel set up by him. He fought corruption by shielding Abba Moro, who scammed and kill job seeking youths.
The PVC which you are praising GEJ was an innovation introduced by Jega that was strongly opposed by GEJ's party.

I told you that your problem isn't that you don't have proof, the problem is that you have refused to see...there was no mistake, someone cannot be SS for 25years and later turn out to be AA all by mistake, and for you to think that it was just one test that proved she was now AA, then I think you're shallow. If you think that someone who has been an SS all her life will rely on just one test to believe her genotype has been changed, then you're not as smart as you claim.

The I said earlier, the problem with your type is that you think you have arrived, and nothing more can be proved to you.

You talked about false pregnancy, right? Your problem is that your of lack of belief make you want to go to the extent of disproving people's realities.

Please Sir, give me a medical condition/explanation of a situation where a woman has a swollen stomach, with no signs of pregnancy, no symptoms, with regular menstrual circle, and for 8months. All medical test showed she wasn't pregnant, she was made a mockery of, told she would swell up and finally die, but after prayers, she was asked to go for a test, the test show she was pregnant, and after a month she gave birth to a bouncing baby girl. Please treat this question, don't deviate or try linking plenty stories; it's a situation that I witnessed myself, let's treat it as it is, and if you can't do that, then I don't have anything more to say to you
You mean to tell us that ulta-sound scan showed no baby in the womb, she was still seeing her period, her breasts did not swell as a result of stored milk, she did not experience any of the disconfort and experiences of pregnancy like kicking, heartbeat, etc, but after prayers, she gave birth to a baby a month later. So in effect you are insinuating that the woman became pregnant and came to term all within one month? or the baby was developing spiritually (invisibly) until it was born? So what would have happened if a C-secion was performed on the lady at 7 to 8th month before the prayer session, what would they have found inside her stomach?

Even Mary that was said to have birthed Jesus spiritually without a male had to go through full pregancy.

You people can make senseless outrageous claims.

Then one day I knelt down and was praying with my wife and then it hit me. I was talking to myself undecided

Then you also have to consider all the ridiculous stories one has to deceive himself to believe. Talking snakes, talking donkeys, the mass genocide by Jehovah via Noah's flood and at Sodom and Gomorrah, the virgin birth of Jesus, flying chariots and all other bullsh*t in the bible and all other religious holy book of lies.

Even Dexter's laboratory made more sense undecided
The bolded is golden. That is your Buddha moment. You were indeed talking to yourself. But the truth is modern religion does not allow one to talk to oneself. It encourages so much noisemaking and manta that one cannot hear oneself, thereby making people disconnect from your innerself and malleable to control by pastors, priests and imams.

Why do remote tribes make objects of reverence and worship them(why worship)?
Because, they think that is the only way to control nature. They think if they can somehow control images made to mimic nature, they control nature. The worship is an attempt to control nature through the images.

Why do most humans perceive the supernatural in creation.
Hasty generalization. Because you perceive supernatural in creation ( whatever that means) does not mean most people do. I and millions of others ( if not billions) do not perceive the supernatural in creation.
Explain this based on scientific knowledge, I can anwser these questions based on spiritual knowledge so you should be able to answer them by scientific reasoning.
It has been explained again and again. Human evolutionary survival depends on our ability to understand and control our environment and social structure. The very act of worship satisfies these two criteria. Religion provides a social structure for society and attempts to control the environment by appealing to higher powers.
I know you don't believe in spirituality or god but science knows that these things happen everywhere, what explanation has science given for it?
Give us reference where science claim spirituality happens everywhere.

NJC proceedings are not open courtrooms that th press reports neither are their documents open to the public until proper procedures for disclosure are complied with. These rules are meant to preserve the dignity of all persons involved in the process until a final determination is made. Media trial et al is cheap popularity at the expense of victims and they deserve the full protection of the law as innocent until proven guilty and for fair hearing.

It us not designed to shield corrupt persons, that mindset is built when people already decide that an accused person is guilty even before there is a chance to speak.
Did you read the report at all? Who is talking about NJC proceedings. To help people with reading or comprehension disabilities, I highlighted the unreasonable part of the quote which says that " The National Judicial Council is set to bar media reportage of allegations of misconduct levelled against judges and employees of the judiciary." This in plain English means the NJC wants to criminize the reportage of any misconduct allegations against all judicial officers, and you are talking about NJC proceedings.
Have the press ever been privy to NJC's proceedings? If the NJC does not invite the press to their proceedings or give a press statement on the outcome of their proceedings, how will the press report it?.

Oh sorry, its like u want to overflog the issue.
Lets go

Please read here

http://www.livescience.com/41572-male-lion-survival.html

It explains why only few male lions survive because many of them are overpowered as they become sexually mature.
Asides that, male lions are also notorious for killing cubs.
It happens in many other animals too.

Sometimes u people just want to keep arguing.
Continue.
Ur colleague above, just now was arguing that animals dont have wives or partners just now.
I hope u can start by correcting him and then correct urself.

Let the whole world live without religion, live like animals with no written rules and lets see.
Russia, north korea etc have tried it before. We saw the outcome.

Carry go
Debating with you guys is similar to debating with a 6 year old. You argue on issues you have no idea about.

You made an assertion that other animals do not have or keep spouses (wives) like humans do. We then tried to educate you that lots of other animals do keep not just one spouse but sometimes numerous spouses, i used lions and Gorilla as example. You then veered of the tangent by yapping about why male lions survive because many of them are overpowered as they become sexually mature and male lions killing cubs of newly acquired prides. How does this support your argument of lions not keeping wives?
Nobody is arguing about whether this social behaviour is beneficial or detrimental to the lion specie as a whole, and it is apparently not beneficial as lion population is dwindling fast and needs to be protected by humans or they would go extinct.

Now to further debunk your vain arguments that other animals do not keep wives, it is known that about 90% of bird species are monogamous, some remain faithful to each other for life.

We’ve all heard it countless times: Certain bird species mate for life, including geese, swans, cranes and eagles. It’s a true statement, for the most part, but it’s only part of the story. Lots of monogamous bird species cheat, and some “divorce”—but at rates much lower than humans.

About 90 percent of bird species are monogamous, which means a male and a female form a pair bond. But monogamy isn’t the same as mating for life. A pair bond may last for just one nesting, such as with house wrens; one breeding season, common with most songbird species; several seasons, or life.

Wether social or not, animals kill each other.
Lets not dwell too much on that.

And I hope u know "good" doesnt just involve not killing.
" Good" also involves not sleeping with another man's wife. Or u want to also argue animals follow that?

And if u say people are naturally good and evil, then some babies are going to be bad, no matter what.
That sounds religious to me.
Then how would u explain very bad people being transformed and coming to live a good life after certain experiences?
Does it mean their nature changed from "bad" to 'good"?
That also sounds religious to me.
Are you telling us that you do not know that sleeping with another Lion's wife (one of the wives of the dominant male) in a lion pride can lead to ex-communication and possible death of the offending lion? Same thing with Gorillas and some other social animals. I have even seen hens fight to the point of death over a hen.
You people need to remove your noses from the Bible once a while and learn about this world you live in.

Atheists are human beings like us, and they’ve their reasons for believing there’s no God. For them the so-called “spiritual experiences” don’t work for them.

But I know the most important reasons we’re religious is because of heavenly rewards, Or because of what would happen to us when we die (because of what would happen to us for eternity). This is the core reason behind Islam and Christianity; all other reasons are secondary.

I’ve seen atheists/agnostics who’re really good. They’re honest, dependable and sensible. They’re happy and successful in life. I’ve seen religious people being dishonest, roguish, and daft. Some of them are failures and unhappy. Yet, they’ve have heavenly hopes.

Now let me ask… Why are there atheists/agnostics that are good citizens, good friends, and good neighbors? One of them once told me that it’s good to be good, but NOT because of heavenly rewards.

Perhaps they’re good to avoid going to jail or tarnishing their family names.

Now, if there are no hopes of heavenly rewards… why do atheist do good things? In their viewpoints, what’s the benefits of doing good and disadvantages of doing bad?

Neteller here: www..com.ng
So you people (Christians and Muslims) do good only because of heavenly rewards? So can you outline those heavenly rewards that will be attractive enough to entice someone like me. Mind you, i hate noise. I hate praise worship and i am not particularly materialistic (not interested in gold at all). If you exist simply because of promise of heavenly rewards, why not avoid all the trouble of living this life and kill yourself. That will be a short cut to heaven. I do not blame Muslims who blow themselves up, with expectation of expressway to their promised heaven. Maybe you Christians should follow them also.

Doing good to ones specie is an evolutionary strategy that enhances specie survival and therefore personal survival. If man evolved to be anti social, that is murdering and stealing from ones relatives, clan or tribe without rules, we would have since gone extinct. One wonders why other Homo species went extinct about 100,000 years ago. At one time there were 4 Homo species living on the planet but only the Homo Sapiens survived. I am certain it is mainly due to our social behaviour. Being Good (ethical social behaviour) is essential in building villages, town and cities which is an essential social construct to ensure group or specie survival.

My friend, you have no idea what a refinery is not to talk of a modular refinery. Google modular refinery to get an idea. There is a difference between refinery and distillery, what those guys do is simply distil diesel, kerosine and very little petrol by cooking crude in a drum under open fire, the same process as distillation of "ogogoro" , all the other lighter compounds like methane, ethane and even most of the petrol is boiled off, and the condensates are simply disposed of in the surroundings. There is no refining going on at all, so much so that the products obtained is highly impure and contaminated.

The reason these illegal refineries are thriving is because they depend on stolen crude, let them buy crude at international prices and see if they can break even cooking a few drums of crude to obtain only diesel and kerosine.

Is the kidnapping situation and the Fulani herdsmen problem not extreme enough?
You see I am not one of those who is taking sides on this issue.I focus on the endgame not the opening. After all the excitement how will it end that is what interest me. Buhari's antecedents over the last 15 months does not inspire we with confidence to grant him EXTREME powers.
Now the judges were arrested and they have been released? So what has been achieved? Buhari had his period of extreme measures in 1984 and 1985 when he was jailing people for 200 years what did that achieve. There is a problem that can be solved in a more cerebral way with the achievement of conviction and jailing of corrupt judges. This is just sensationalism without thought and without a plan. Stop throwing up the red herring of Fulani herdsmen, Fulani herdsmen menace did not start during this administration, they were killing farmers all over the middle belt during Jonathan's reign.

How do you want Buhari to achieve convictions, is he a judge? What do you want the executive to do when our judiciary refuses to convict " big men" because they have stolen enough money to hire 10 SANs and bribe judges with millions of dollars. Have you ever seen a judge sentence a big man to appreciable jail time in Nigeria? In fact, a report released by the Centre showed that more than 80 percent of prison inmates in the country were awaiting trials owing to the unwholesome, archaic criminal justice system in the country.

When police extra-judicially kill ordinary Nigerians on flimsy excuses.
Extrajudicial killings: Story of SARS and robbery suspects
Travelling may mean different things to different people.

But to men of the Special Anti- Robbery Squad, (SARS), an arm of the Nigeria Police Force, ‘to travel’ means to kill a suspect in detention. Hundreds of robbery suspects, if not thousands, who had been arrested and taken to SARS, have been killed extra-judicially.

Most times, some are not even robbery suspects, but suspects arrested for other crimes. Many (both the innocent and presumed guilty) die through torture; others are shot point blank because they were deemed as, ‘confirmed robbers.’ The stories differ from station to station, case to case, with some members of the families of some victims still hoping that the dead would come back from detention. The family members are busy visiting prayer houses, native doctors, diviners and spiritualists without any knowledge that the subject has crossed over to the other side of the world.

But when a Big Man is arrested, searched or even invited to came and answer for alleged crimes, this professor and his fellow protectors of Big Men suddenly remember the rule of law and strong institutions.

True still but you would ve taken the money
This is what i hate about i call the justification of crimes by assuming others have or would commit the same crime.
How do you know i would have taken the money, the fact that you are susceptible to bribery does not every other person is susceptible.

Furthermore i am not a judge, a judge is expected to have a higher moral standard than even a pastor or Imam, his judgements and pronouncements has huge impacts of the lives of people and the society. So justifying a judge collecting bribes is abominable.

The CJN also revealed that the minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi offered the judges millions of dollars to overturn their ruling on the two election petitions. He said the honourable justices rebuffed Amaechi because they were hellbent on delivering a sound judgment on the cases which had been unduly sensationalised by politicians.
Imagine, someone offered a judge millions of dollars to subvert justice and all he could do is rebuffed the person. So the Judge did not find in appropriate to report the matter to the appropriate authorities ie, EFCC, Police or even the DSS.
Such judge should not be called a Judge in the first place.

Mr. Smart.

Those who spent tens of millions to cut grasses at the IDP camp (while the displaced persons starved and prostituted for food) should FIRST be harrased, intimidated and abducted. Then after that, those in the cabinet should follow, then after that those who got into office without the due certificate should be exposed (rather than hiring the "corrupt" legal professionals to cover their fraud). Then after that you can now have a valid moral standing to "harass" the judiciary.
So because people spent tens of millions to cut grass, Judges should act like a god?

The NJC also informed DSS that it was not amenable to “invitations being extended to judicial officers by departments and agencies of government for any reason”.

And that makes it acceptable? Even if the entire world is doing it, If the Lord says "Thou shall not be unequally yoked", it means "Thou shall not be unequally yoked", it doesnt matter if an Angel did it. Its still not acceptable.

Those doing it, think marriage is just a man and a woman coming together to raise a family, support each other and keep each other's company. No, not just that.

Anyone who understands why Christ calls The Church His Bride will umderstand what marriage is all about.

Anytime the Bible wants to discuss our relationship wirh God, it uses the relationship between a man and his wife to describe it. People who the things of God are light to, will be shocked when they face to face with whom they say is their Lord.
You that is giving such long sermon in marriage, are you married? Do you know what marriage entails? It seems you have no clue of what marriage entails, your posts only shows your hatred for atheists.

It is funny that you Pentecostal Christians described marriage as a yoke. Do you know what a yoke is? I can never be equally or unequally yoked with anyone. My wife that gives me such love and happiness can never be a yoke to me.

Yoke
A yoke is a wooden beam normally used between a pair of oxen or other animals to enable them to pull together on a load when working in pairs, as oxen usually do; some yokes are fitted to individual animals. There are several types of yoke, used in different cultures, and for different types of oxen. A pair of oxen may be called a yoke of oxen, and yoke is also a verb, as in "to yoke a pair of oxen". Other animals that may be yoked include horses, mules, donkeys, and water buffalo.
I pray that when eventually you get married, you will not see your marriage as a yoke.
