PoliticsRe: Radio And TV Permit In Lagos; Legal Or Illegal? by wirinet(m): 5:18pm On Nov 27, 2013
Why stop at radio and tv licence? What about internet licence because most people get their news and information of the internet. Those with fast internet service watch live streams of programs from channels and other tv houses. I hardly watch local tv stations not to talk of radio. If i need to watch tv i turn on CNN and aljazeera for 1 or 2 hours and that is it.
So why do i need to pay radio and tv licence.

Waste of legislative time. In this era of global banking, any money legitimately earned can be transferred to anywhere and anybody wireless within minutes, so what will be the benefits of opening an account in a foreign country if you earned your money legitimately and you dont plan on relocating abroad.
You can lie on your sofa and use your phone to pay for cars, houses and intact anything you want.

Sometimes, i fail to see the benefits of paying billions of naira to these legislators.

We are not interested in why he was arrested, what interests us is what is he doing in Benin republic after creating a militant group that caused chaos and instability in his fatherland.

That is why i pity those collecting crumbs from politician to cause problems in Nigeria. Most of these politicians have huge investments outside Nigeria and all their families including their pet dogs are outside Nigeria, once the chaos starts, they would just enter their private jets and say bye bye to Nigeria. It is the ordinary people like you and i that would bare the brunt of the mess they created.

See freedom fighter. So it is from Benin republic that Dokubo is doing his freedom fighting? I thought he said he is ready to burn nigeria if Jonathan is not appointed next president.
These so called Nigerdelta militants are nothing but criminals, while their supporters are nothing but fools. They shout and cause trouble in their community and country and once they are settled, they go and enjoy the money in another country while leaving their people to bare the brunt of the chaos they have created.

Why are you playing deaf? The minister said with her own mouth that the cars were not bought because of her. Why are you now insinuating that she lied? She never told anyone that there are threats to her life, so where are you getting your conjectures?
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: I Remain In PDP, Governor Aliyu Of Niger Says by wirinet(m): 4:13pm On Nov 26, 2013
Good and bad news.

Good news in that we at last have 2 strong parties with roughly equal strength and resources, so the idea of PDP ruling for the next 50 years has perished. We are now entering real democracy where each party can act as a true check on the other. And the two strong parties will be more nationalistic in outlook than the previous igbo, yoruba and hausa parties.

Bad news is that from today governance has officially come to a halt until 2015. The ruling PDP would get desperate and employ all its energy and resources to fight the renegade governors. GEJ would quickly try and "empower" others to quickly fill the vacuum created by the leaving governors. Empowerment in the nigerian context means appointing them into positions where they can loot enough for the battle ahead. We complain about corruption, the real corruption is just about to commence. The renegade governors on their own part would be too busy fighting for survival to do any governance. GEJ would employ all means to remove them from office, because with the resources available to governors, it would be difficult for GEJ to win their states as he did in 2011.

The battle line is drawn.

I am proud of my fellow nigerians including my igbo brothers for condemning in totality this shinenegans by Stella Oduah and her crew. Only a few well known paid hawks are defending her. Lets come together and use this Stella case as a new revolution, to condemn all acts of corruption irrespective of whether the person concerned is our religion, region, tribesmen or clan. Let no region protect their citizens in any act of corruption. Let the yorubas speak up against their people, same for hausas, igbos, nupes, igalas, etc. Corruption has given all of use a far worse reputation internationally than drugs, boko haram and even yahoo yahoo. Afghanistan with taliban and al-quaida has better reputation than us.

This Oduah saga has made me lose respect for all Nigeria's so called business men and women. With all the noise of how successful Oduah was in the oil and gas business, one would have thought that she would resign and go back to her business once there is any stain on the reputation she had built over the years, like Barth Nnaji. But alas, she is ready to commit suicide to remain a minister. It obviously shows she is making far more money as a minister than in her Sea Petroluem and Gas cmpany. If I may ask, what has become of SPG since Stella Oduah became a minister and what will she do once she stops being a minister.

This Oduagate scandal only shows that All successful Nigerian business men feed on government money to survive and would do anything to remain relevant in government.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria: Our Story On Anambra Election - Prof. Jega by wirinet(m): 6:08am On Nov 26, 2013
tobnical: Nigeria: Our Story On Anambra Election - Prof. Jega

As you are no doubt aware, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducted the Anambra governorship election. In preparing for that election, INEC was determined to make it the best election that we conducted so far. And we prepared for that election adequately more than we have done in preparing for previous elections.

The elections were conducted. There were many matters arising in the conduct of the election, and there is no doubt that INEC's operation performance in that election has not met the expectations of Nigerians to be the best election ever conducted by INEC. We regret shattering the expectations of Nigerians. But we did our best under very difficult circumstance to have prepared credible elections.

Nigerians are also no doubt aware that the Returning Officer, when announcing the result for that election declared it inconclusive and mentioned the need to do the supplementary elections. Following the conduct of that election, we received complaints from candidates, from political parties and many other Nigerians raising issues with the conduct of the election. Some called for outright cancellation of the election, making arguments as to why the election must be cancelled.

Why INEC can't cancel the election

We had a meeting with all the field, the senior level field officers who participated in that election. We reviewed the conduct of that election; we received information about what was done right, lapses about the conduct of the election and the commission met today (on Friday) and took the following decisions with regards to the next line of action.

We regret that in spite of our intention, the Anambra election has not turned out to be the best election that the commission has conducted so far. We regret the challenges that we faced in the conduct for that election, but in our assessment there is no other decision that we, as the commission, can take other than the position of the Returning Officer to conduct a supplementary election in those areas where the results were cancelled before the final returning were made.

We examined all the accusation and the allegations that were made and we came to the conclusion that in spite of minor challenges, unfortunate challenges in the field, there is no substantial evidence to support the outright cancellation of the process. We believed that although the Anambra election was not the best election as we wished, there was substantial compliance with the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended) and that a substantial majority of the allegations that have been made cannot be substantiated. Therefore, we have decided that the supplementary election will hold in Anambra State on Saturday November 30th, 2013.

There is no doubt that there was the challenge of late commencement of election; there was no doubt that this late commencement in many polling units was accounted by delay from election officials, there was no doubt that some polling units materials arrived late, but where it became necessary to adjust the time of the election and time for accreditation, we have done so and elections have taken place peacefully and successfully.

Why some names were missing in voters register

There were a lot of allegations by either party or candidate with regards to the voters register. I want to say that we have investigated and the major allegation being made, which was by the register that INEC gave to political parties 30 days before the election, was different from the register that we gave on the day of the stakeholder meeting a few days to the election was different. This is not correct.

We have reviewed the register and we are satisfied by this review that the register we gave 30 days before the election and the register we gave in the stakeholders meeting was the same and the only difference was the age, which we explained to the stakeholders and none of the stakeholders complained about. They understood our explanation and they were satisfied with it, and there was no challenge to that. So, to now come and start talking about challenges with the register and particularly to accuse INEC about changing the register, frankly is not being fair to INEC.

And at this point, anybody or any party has evidence of discrepancy or variance in the two registers that we have given them, then of course they should come out and prove it. As far as we are concerned, the only difference to the two registers was the correction of the age and this was mentioned to the stakeholders and they accepted it and therefore the register we conducted election with, except the age, was the register that was given to the stakeholders 30 days before the election.

INEC didn't disenfranchise anyone

There were also allegations of disenfranchisement. This is regrettable, given the energy and attention that INEC had deployed in the cleaning up of the register and in trying to make the register much more credible, than the register which we conducted the 2011 elections. I want to remind us that before the Anambra elections, the commission met with the chairmen of all the registered political parties and their secretaries, who came along with the chairman of Anambra State of the branches of their parties.

We briefed them adequately about the improvements we had made to the register; we told them how the number of total registered voters came down from about 1.8 to about 1.7 million because we had done our best to eliminate all multiple registrations. We also told them about the efforts we were making before the 2015 general elections to make sure that nationwide addendum register was eliminated in the conduct of the election. And we briefed them about the efforts we were making to make sure that when the Anambra election came, there would be no use of the addendum register.

We briefed them about how, in Anambra state before the conduct of the election, continuous voter registration, with the main purpose of updating the register by allowing those who have reach 18 years since the conduct of the last registration, and we also informed them how we were going to use the continuous voter registration to address the issue of addendum register.

For example, we briefed about how anybody who is not on the electronic register, and who voted during the 2011 elections, with their names on the addendum register, should use the opportunity of the continuous voter registration to have their names captured and put in the electronic register.

Before we did the continuous voter registration in Anambra State, we did massive campaign, we even displayed the electronic register that was used in 2011 election, so that people could see if their names were not in that register could use the voter registration to have their names and details captured and put in the register.

So I can say that from our own assessment from this allegation of disenfranchisement, a substantial majority, if not those that were said to have gone to the polling unit with their voters card and did not find their names on the register, in all likelihood, even if not all of them, must have either been people who have done multiple registrations or were people who did not take advantage of the continuous voter registration to have their names in the electronic register.

The challenge is for political parties to marshal their evidences or to prove that there were actually people who have their names on the electronic register, which is people outside of the list of those who have done multiple registration, or on the addendum register, who were not initially a priori on the voters register.

No evidence has been provided to us, as I speak to you by any of the political parties and therefore the question or the issue of the disenfranchisement cannot be used to question or to cancel the election as said by the political parties.

There were complaints in some polling units about some candidates who have gone to the polling units or some notable Nigerians who have gone to the polling unit and with their voters card and claimed to have been disenfranchised and were not allowed to vote.

And I need to clarify on this. The electoral Act is very clear and our guideline is very clear that if you present yourself at a polling unit, you must first of all present your card, and your name will be checked in the register.

If your name is not on the register, you will not be allowed to vote. Our electoral officials were trained on this and they clearly complied with the training manuals and legal provisions by ensuring that only people whose names are found on the register are allowed to vote.

A case of one of the candidates who said his name was not on the voters register, we have done some checking, and our investigation has shown that he was on manual register, not on the electronic register. And in all likelihood, that candidate, since we used electronic register in the election, that candidate did not utilised the continuous voters registration opportunity so as to be on the electronic register.

Question about APC petition to INEC

With regards to the claims by APC, yes we have received their claims yesterday and I have gone through it. Almost all the complaints were repetition of the allegations made by the APC candidate, which we have replied. So there is nothing new in it.
I am surprised the above rejoinder could have come from no less a person than professor Jega himself, it is full of contradictions and so much illogicality. The parts I bolded is a paradox, how can you accuse people of not taking advantage of the contineous registration advice to re-register and at the same time accuse them of double registration? Does someone who registered in 2011 with their full biodata captured need to come again and register in this contineous registration exercise without being accused of double registration? this question is very important before 2015 elections, when the national continuous voters registration exercise starts, wont those of us who had already registered in 201 be accused of double registration if we registered again and be accused of non validation if we refuse to re-register? either way, is an excuse for not finding our name in the final voters list.

Jega is behaving as if simple voters registration is rocket science. Why is no accurate data base of all voters that registered in 2011? after all they took all our biodata. Does it take forever to compile the data base?, something a 200 level computer sciemce can undertake.

Jega should stop making excuses, the voter is not expected to pay for INEC's incompetences, it is the fundamental right of a person who registered to vote and came on voting day to actually vote.

PoliticsRe: Panel Recommends "Administrative Caution" For Oduah by wirinet(m): 6:08pm On Nov 25, 2013
The findings and recommendations of this report is so hollow and vague it is unbelievable it was written by senior government officials. The findings are exactly the arguments presented by stella oduah herself, the committee did not add anything, if fact the report could have written by stella herself.

The argument that the cars were not bought in stella oduah's name is kindergarten and was never the subject matter. The main allegations against stella are that she spent money outside the budget approved by the national assembly, she spend money beyond her approval limit and that the cost of the cars were highly inflated.
Now in the course of the probe by the house of assembly, we were made aware that the total budget for cars for NCAA for this year is N240million but stella approved of over N640million without even putting into consideraton. the interests to be paid on the loans, there is no documentation for the 2 BMW. armoured cars -no custom papers, no NSA approval, no registration papers, even the cars themselves are questionable, even the purpose for which the cars were bought is yet to be established.

If not for anything, we would have thought the committee would have help unravel some of these questions, but what do we have have? they took the position of stella oduahs lawyers.
PoliticsRe: How Okorocha Imported Fake Osun Election Observers To Anambra State – Jega by wirinet(m): 12:34pm On Nov 25, 2013
one.east3:
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, yesterday virtually accused Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha of importing fake Election Observers to Anambra State. The National Chairman of INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega made this known while addressing a news conference in Abuja. Jega also fixed November 30, for the conduct of supplementary governorship

election in Anambra State.

About 48hrs to the Anambra Governorship election, the Imo State Police Command had arrested 181 persons suspected to be fake election observers going to Anambra State for the Governorship election held on Saturday, 16 November 2013.

Commenting , on the arrest of some APC members who claimed to be observers for the polls, Jega said, “We were very strict as we accredited only those who applied within the time frame. In previous elections we were very thorough as we had to ask for the photographs of the applicants. For the Anambra State election, given the complaints we had received we insisted that the would-be monitors must be in Awka to get their accreditation.

“We even arrested somebody that was trying to impersonate another person. He is with the police and would soon be prosecuted. It was that thorough and the accreditation that we did aided the arrest of fake observers from Osun State.”

According to Jega, the Osun State delegation of observers forged their documents. “They did not come to Awka to collect their accreditation; rather they camped in Owerri. Some of them have been arraigned before a Magistrate Court” he said.

He accused the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, of Imo State of attempting to take over the prosecution of these people.

Elombah.com learnt that Gov Rochas Okorocha acting for ACN chieftains in Lagos has already arranged bail for the fake observers.

Parading the suspects at the police command headquarters in Owerri, the state capital, last week the Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Katsina said the suspects were arrested at Disney Hotel along Onitsha in Owerri after getting an intelligence report from strategic partners that there are some strange faces that entered the state in large number.

Mr Katsina said preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects who claim to be INEC accredited election observers of Equity and Justice Organisation all came in from Osun state but had to rest in Imo state before moving to Anambra state for the election on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the leader of the group, Mr Waheed Lawal claimed during interrogations that “INEC accredited their organization to observe elections in 13 local government areas in Anambra state”.

Items recovered from the group are[b] 2 pump action guns, valid voter’s registration card of an Anambra indigene[b] and 181 identity cards of Equity and Justice Election Observer Organization.

The arrest of the fake observers in Owerri, the Imo State capital, had generated diverse reactions in the polity as major players in the Anambra State governorship election exchanged brickbats, allegations and counter-accusations.

While the Imo State police command insisted the arrested 180 persons in Owerri with “voter cards, INEC Identity Cards and Independent Observer Identity Cards were thugs having in their possession "two pump-action rifles, live ammunition, 15 buses and other incriminating materials", a statement signed by the Osun State Director of Publicity, Research and Strategy of the APC, Kunle Oyatomi, contended that the young men arrested were members of the Justice and Equity Organisation, duly accredited by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) as observers in the governorship election in Anambra State.

Oyatomi said that what was found on the arrested young men were not voter cards but INEC’s identification tags as observers of the election; and that the exhibits displayed to reporters by the police showed only the ribbons holding the observers’ tags, and not voter cards.

He also described as untrue the allegation that Governor Rauf Aregbesola was funding the electioneering activities of the APC governorship candidate in the Anambra gubernatorial election, Dr. Chris Ngige, saying “It is important to find proof from the accusers. People hallucinating cannot just engage a serious-minded political party on trivial issues.”

He explained further: “The young men were not found with APC ID Cards. Imo police command was being mischievous by claiming that the youths were APC thugs on their way to disrupt the governorship election.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also joined the fray, insisting that the APC flooded Anambra State with over 4,000 thugs, and that the 180 youths arrested were just a fraction of those already sent to the state.

In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, the PDP said the arrest of 180 heavily armed political thugs from APC-controlled Imo State ready to be deployed to Anambra, had exposed the APC’s plot to cause mayhem and unleash violence during the election.
This is getting more interesting. Is it with 2 pump action rifles and the voters card of an Anambra indigene that they propose to rig the election with?
Any way we are tuned to this station for more drama.

According to my unlearned opinion, inec has the right to conduct all elections (within its jurisidiction). it can call it whatever name it wishes to call the elections as long as it is held within the legal time frame allowed by the constitution and the electoral act. There is not law that says inec must hold all elections in all wards and local government on the same day. So has the discretion to choose whatever date or dates its pleases. What it cannot do is hold elections in the same place twice.Once a result had been declared only the courts can cancel that election and order a re-run.

Biafra, you seem not to have any sense of justice and fairness. Only 400,000 fellow biafrans out of 1.7 registeted voters and you are here talking about credibility of APC. Should you not be questioning the credibility of INEC instead. Should you not feel sorry for Tony Nwoye and his family, the protesting Akwa women and hundreds of thousands of others were stood in the sun for hours but not allowed to vote?

Are you really proud that only less than 200,000 will determine who will rule Anambra state? a population of more than 5 million people.

The most reasonable demand would be for the elections to cancelled(even though I know inec cannot cancel an election once results have been declared), the voters register revaildated quickly and a fresh elections ordered. In advanced democracies, the judiciary would have stepped in and sort thr whole thing out before the present governors leaves, but in Nigeria, the judiciary would allow Obiano stay for up to 2 years before cancelling the elections. By this time the governors would have consolidated his hold on power.

It is a pity you are throwing insults at fellow igbo wives, mothers and sisters who are old enough to be your mother, just because they are protesting their right to vote in an election. Is that the attribute of a true igbo?

Let INEC try the rubbish in a devoloped world and deny a willing citizen his right to vote, you can only imagine what that one person can do, not to talk of a whole group of people. And you have the audacity to insult them for protesting.
PoliticsRe: ANAMBRA POLL: Police Arraign 183 Osun Suspects In Court by wirinet(m): 9:34am On Nov 21, 2013
See comedy. This series can be called comedy/Legal drama. How come we were not availed of the charges against the 183 suspected "thugs", I am sure it will make for a good laugh. Let's see the 5 charges.

But let me hazzard some guesses.
1. Illegal possession of weapons. 2 pump action guns was found with the 183 thugs
2. Illegal holding of meeting in a hotel. They did not seek permission before holding a meeting to cause thuggery.
3. Illegal movement without permission or visa. Travelling from Osun to Anambra or is it Imo? without permission.
Now for the electoral offenses,
4. Conspiracy to rig elections yet to take place.
5. Possession of fake voters card.

Oya over to the lawyers.
PoliticsRe: Why Anioma State Should Not See The Light Of The Day by wirinet(m):
revolt: you can never understand!! The relationship btw yorubas and itsekiris is even more political than traditional. For a start you don't even bear same names, neither do u share mother tongue etc itsekiris r closer to benin sef. Anyways back to our FEW identity crises ridden anioma fols, we speak relatively same dialect, share same culture and ancestry, even same persecution, but still deny their identity. All These was because of the civil war persecutions they faced!! But the wars ended long time ago. They're still hoping to be accepted by their neigbours with the continous denial. Its funny they actually try so hard not to speak their language when they're with oda deltans so as not to expose their igboness. Well igbos generaLly are individualistic ppl so we really don't care if they deny or not but for sure we remain passive to their political remonstrations. If they require our support and ask wed come to their aide. The anioma issue is a dream cos there's no way they'll create it without cutting anambra too, whch ofcos u knw the EasT deserves anoda state. I don't even how u reduce ur nmba sentimentallly in a democracy and expect to hve an advantage!! Na wa o
My brother get some education and if education is too expensive Google is free. The relationship between Yorubas more political than traditional? who told you that? You must have been reading some of the propaganda spewed out by my Urhobo brothers over the Olu of Warri controversy.
That is the problem I have always had with you igbos, you arrogantly claim to know more about other people and their ancestry than the people themself. Itsekiris are closer in terms of cultural affinity to the Yorubas. than the Benis. That you can state that we do not share the same mother tongue shows your level of ignorance, and that you have never heard an Itsekiri speak. It is the Itsekiri monarchy that has its roots in the Benin Kingdom, Just like the British monarchy has its root in Germany. But it would be stupid to imply that the british are from Germany.

The Itsekiri language is basically an Ijebu dialect of yoruba with sprinklings of Portuguese and very little Beni. In fact the Itsekiri language is closer to the original yoruba language than the adulterated yoruba created by bishop Ajayi Crowder that is spoken in most urban centres. Most Tsekiri names have Yoruba counterparts with same meanings but slight variations in spellings.

It is not in your place to tell Anioma people where they belong, unless you are anioma itself. Let them choose their identity themslves. I used to have a girlfriend from Ogwashi-Uku and it I want to incure her wrath, I would call her an igbo lady. She would flare up and say she is not igbo. Up till today, I am still confused why some Anioma people refused to be identified with igbos. But I still say, you cannot imposed your identity on others.

You igbo people need to define what it means to be igbo.
PoliticsRe: Why Anioma State Should Not See The Light Of The Day by wirinet(m): 6:28am On Nov 21, 2013
The Igbos need to learn that they cannot define the identity of another person or another tribe. Identity is often a personal attribute which people hold very dear and it defines how we choose to define ourselves. You cannot force a person to be igbo if the person does not see himself as one.

First you have to define what it means to be igbo. Yorubas have loosely defined being Yoruba as being decendants of Oduduwa, the ways Jews define themselves as being decendants of Abraham and David. We knew what it meant to be Roman and even English. Most former French colonies of west africa see themselves as French, but what does being igbo mean?

Language does not neccessarily define our identity. For example we the Itsekiris speak a dialect of the yoruba language and are culturally closely associated with the yorubas, but you would incure the anger of an average itsekiri if you call him an "ara oke", meaning Yoruba. That is why we are comfortable with the Yorubas, they refer to us as brothers and give us all the rights and respects they accord all other Yoruba tribes but at the same time recognizing we are distinct.

I ask again, what does it mean to be igbo, is it language, culture, physical looks, core values, history, religion, leadership, historical conquest? What?

It is the same question I ask my Igbo in-laws, what does Biafra mean? What does it mean to be a Biafran? I was surprised my Igbo neighbour thought Biafra meant Bia (come in igbo) and Fra ( a word in calabar). He was shocked that biafra is not even an igbo word, and that most of physical Biafra lies in Gabon.
PoliticsRe: Festus Iyayi Was Shot By Policemen In Kogi's Governor Convoy - SaharaReporters by wirinet(m): 7:31am On Nov 20, 2013
The possibility of Festus Iyayi being shot before, during or after the accident is very slim. The former ASUU president was travelling with his colleagues,if he was actually shot, his co-travellers would have been witnesses instead of an anonymous source.
Having said that,it does not remove from the murder case. Why have the driver in the governor's convoy not been arrested and charged for murder? or at least manslaughter. what is the police waiting for? ASUU should insist on the prosecution of the reckless driver.
We are gradually slipping into a banana republic, a citizen was killed by a reckless driver and up to a week after the incident, the driver has not been arrested because he works for a state government.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi Is A Beneficiary Of The ‘missing’ $5 Billion ECA Fund-fg by wirinet(m): 10:25pm On Nov 19, 2013
adconline: Amaechi should ask his attorney general to sue if Rivers is short-changed. Tinubu did it against OBJ. Govs sued FG against onshore offshore dichotomy
I also support the idea that Amaechi should sue the feferal government if he has evidence his state is being short changed by the Federal government. He has the right to compel the Federal government to dislose all revenue acrued the federation, so he can work out the rivers state'd share.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi Is A Beneficiary Of The ‘missing’ $5 Billion ECA Fund-fg by wirinet(m): 10:20pm On Nov 19, 2013
ujoinme: what do you think is the purpose of the FEC meetings? do you think its only to share and recieve checks? That is the venue in which all the revenue profiles, receipts and all are discused and disclosed. Is Amaechi not part of the FEC? stop propagating lies to cover for this insincere governor.
If the governors had an idea of the revenue profile of the federation and knew that the excess crude account had been shared, I am sure at least one governors would have challenged Amaechi. Especially Jang and his Governor's Forum faction. But for everybody to wait for the finance ministry to explain how the ECA was distributed means the governors had no idea of what happens with the Federation and excess crude accounts.
I am not supporting anybody, I am only shocked by the allegation that $5 billion of Nigeria's money had been unaccounted for. In a true democracy, the national assembly would carry out its statutory function of checking the executive, and start impeachment proceeding if found to be true. it id not the executive that will exonorate itself. The national assembly should invite amaechi to present his evidences, and if found to be false, should be thouroughly disgraced ( since with Immunity, he cannot be sued), and ask to render a public apology to the federal government. At least it will show Amaechi is jusy a noise maker.
