kellyemms: this uk immigration people should reason our matta oh so international students can be able to stay and work after studies
Work after study regulations have only recently been tightened, they will not be relaxed soon!
It is still possible to get a job at the end of study and then employer can help get another visa.
This is normally for top people in top jobs!
The problem comes from people staying on looking for jobs and becomming illegal or begging from state funds.
That is why many countries now get ex students to leave.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 5 by worry359(m): 9:55am On Dec 20, 2013
coolbibz: Hello Everyone, good morning. Please I need some information as regards applying to Canadian schools. I've made some research & I'm thinking University of Alberta or Calgary but I really do need more options. Any safety school(s) that offer a masters degree in Environmental Engineering/Technology would be just fine. Would love to apply for financial aid as well, just want a school with higher chances of admission & financial aid. No GRE required. Thank you all for keeping this thread live. I'm a newbie here actually lol
Unfortunatly your requirements are contradicting.
To get easy entry and to get good scholarship (grant) you normally need exceptional grades on your entry qualifications.
Most scholarships go to the best pupils so you should look to your qualifications.
Use Google to find school names then go to their website for specific information.

Typical TRIBALIST rubbish!!!!
As is quite normal with ignorant Nigerians the first thing they want to bring into any conversation is TRIBAL fights.
Tribal people are the reason that Nigeria is a failed country.

When will you learn that as far as the world is concerned these people are NIGERIAN111
NO ONE IS INTERESTED in which tribe or village or school!
The whole COUNTRY is blamed for the crimes just the same as immigration fraud and Yahoo Yahoo.

Please don't let me pour cold water on your plans but please be aware.
A lot of the Uni will be on holiday from tomorrow untill New year.
This might make things difficult to get accomodation Etc.
Also if you are on your own and it's your first days then Christmas in a strange town can be very lonely.
With no friends or contacts it can be hard.
You might be better travelling after about the 5th Jan when things open again.

TravelInvestors 'buying' US Green Cards For $1m by worry359(op): 1:26pm On Dec 18, 2013
Simples way to get U.S. Visa & Green card

A visa programme called EB-5 offers overseas investors the opportunity to get permanent residence - a green card - in return for $1m (£614,000). (N160,400,758.28) In areas with high unemployment, the visas are available for a $500,000 investment.

The visas have been available since the 1990s, when Europeans were the main beneficiaries. But today Chinese citizens represent a majority of the applicants.

What you should do is to find out and understand why you were rejected.
Was it because your finances were not good?
Or was it because your grades / education were not enough for the course that you wanted?

Then you can move on.
Either improve finances, or better grades, or different study course.
Other countries may have less stringent requirements.
TravelRe: I Want To Travel Out by worry359(m): 8:42am On Dec 18, 2013
You can do this if you commit to work hard.

Please beware of false prophets called "AGENTS"
Most of these people will end up taking money from you.
There are many many people whose life has been ruined by AGENTS!
They are a curse in Nigeria.
Typical sign of an AGENT is asking you to contact direct and not posting information freely here.
Also so called buisness with Yahoo or Gmail address.
All the information that you need is avaliable for FREE on these threads for you to read.

bunburized: Season greetings everyone. I am heading to Salford January.
Please I need advice on food stuffs to pack(considering the limited baggage weight allowance); where to get winter clothings in Lagos; pounds sterling I should take along to cover emergencies when travelling; if I should just stick to using my Nigeria bank cards or open a Uk bank account; hw soon and easy I can open a bank account in the Uk if necessary and life generally in the Uk/Salford.
Any and all contributions will be appreciated. Thanks.
Salford is part of Manchester so very many food shops / markets with good food.
Also good fair priced clothes shops.
Many "Charity shops with low priced used but good clothes.
Also look / ask for markets to get cheap warm clothing.
"Car boot sales" are a good place for cheap stuff, ask at school and someone will help you.

I know this is probably expensive but Nigerian resturaunt in Salford.

The truth is that naijaspeak has been trying to convince people that Libyia is a safe place for Black Africans.
I do not know why he does this and he will not answer why.

I have posted information on the real situation to warn people to be carefull.
We have seen how desparate some people are to follow any path out of Nigeria without though of the results.

Who is the criminal??

justwise: I think you can travel with your expired Nigerian passport, though not too such about that but visiting Nigerian embassy in London will help you answers that question
Justwise is correct as usual.
International law says that you can return to your home country with an expired passport.
You might have problems with Nigerian criminals immigration officials wanting "something" to pass you through.
You can either pay them or argue it's up to you.

ndimeledaniel: Please I saw an advert about working visa 5 years in Qatar I would like to know how legitimate it is and is the job guarantee from those agent that post such advert.
Unfortunatly most of the so called agents are CRIMINALS They have several ways of stealing your money.
They will take your money but visa, tickets, job never appears.
Or they get you visa / ticket but there is no job waiting, just more charges to pay then deportation.
Or they will get you to country then take your passport and put you in slave job for tiny wage that can never pay your bills.
All of these things have happened to people who post here.
Read this thread from the beginning to gain much FREE information from people who do not need to lie to you.
REMEMBER most AGENTS are CRIMINALS!

demi13: Hello everyone, I have got a problem that is tearing me apart and would like answers to a couple of questions.
My name is demi a nigerian in the UK and I have overstayed my visa it expired december 2010 and my old nigerian passport also expired in june 2012.
My problem is that I have a job offer in nigeria that I have to take up before the end of febuary 2014, its a life changing offer so I need to get back to nigeria as soon as possible and won't mind getting a 10 year ban. My questions go like this;
1. Best and quickest option of getting home to nigeria.
2. can travel on my old passport.
3. Do I get an emergency travel certificate, how long and easy will it be?
4. What will it take to get an e-passport.
5. Should I just turn myself into the border agency and come clean?
Please if any other options are available please share. Thank you all.
Emergency travel document is the way to procede.
You should then pay for your flight home.

Do not just turn yourself in to UKBA and expect British tax payers to pay your bill.
You Will get ban but YOU DID OVERSTAY.
Then take up new job.
CrimeNigerian Computer Hacker Jailed by worry359(op): 8:42am On Dec 17, 2013
Some 238 UK students had their bank accounts raided after Nigerian Olajide Onikoyi tricked them into handing over their passwords.
The Nigerian national helped launder £393,000 from 238 victims, including one student who had £19,000 taken from their account.

When police seized his computer, they found chat logs from cyber-crime forums that revealed he was conspiring with criminals in Russia, Lithuania and the UK.

You only needed to do a Google search to find facts!

Libya: black Africans continue to be killed and persecuted by rebel forces
The number of reports highlighting this continues to grow and many images have been shown which show Africans being mutilated and having their bodies abused and mocked by non-black African Libyans.

V.O. suspects your finances.
You (Wife) said you had money in one acc. but still took out loan.
Now he thinks there was loan to boost Acc.
Also youe wife angered him.

Short term it might be difficult now!
Try re-applying at different visa issue office.

frakie: Please u guys should advice me on wht to do.. Thanks, cheers...
Visa officer will find it VERY strange that you will leave buisness, very young child and partner
just to go on holiday on your own.

Not married may look like you want to run away from your child (this is common!)
Your finances will also be questioned. Do you have enough funds for trip and to leave substantial ammount to return home for?

All together your chance is rather poor, you should save your funds to care for child, marry and in time travel as family.

cancerlib: Thanks for this wonderful thread!
Talking about pregnancy and visa....how do I go about getting a visa if I intend giving birth in d UK?
Even if I get a 6mnths visa before getting pregnant, it won't cover for me and if I go for a renewal, I'll have to state then that am pregnant. What r d chances d VO will grant a preggo visa?
Everything depends on your intentions!
If you are honest person and you intend to pay your birth bills contact some hospitals to get information and prices.
Then have this and funds avaliable to show your intent.
Why not U.S.A. where baby will get citizenship?

If you intend to be "Health tourist" and steal from British tax payer no one will help you.

If you are honest person then just tell truth and have FUNDS and DOCUMENTS to back up your story.
