tamonokare: My Christian friend did Thanksgiving in his church for surviving a ghastly accident that took the lives of two of our friends. He said " I have come to return the glory to Jesus for saving my life. Two of my friends died in the accident but Jesus saved me. Thank you Jesus " . I left the church and since then I don't pick his calls.
Christians rejoice when they watch Israeli soldiers killing Palestinians simply because of religion.
Muslims rejoice when they watch Palestinian soldiers killing Israelites simply because of religion
Non religious people like us rejoice when there's peace.
See below how this Christian tried to justify killing muslims. Your friend lacked good communication skills. It's a common mistake which could be insensitive. It would have been wiser for him to avoid the open-show Thanksgiving. Tell your friend his mistakes. On the other hand, Christians are less than 10 per cent in Isreal and Palestine. Judaism is the religion in Israel, and they even try to oppress Christians. Judaism and Islam share a lot in common if you have read the Koran and the Bible, especially in the area of an eye for an eye. The Law without mercy. I rest my case. |

But wait ooo why are Yoruba Muslims not as violent as other Muslims Yoruba Muslims have been able to successfully differentiate their practice of Islam as a religion from their culture. This is why they are more accommodating. In the Islamic world, and northern Nigeria, Islam is taken both as a religion and culture. Rossikk: I just posted pictures of the wall above here. What are you talking about?
The wall is partly overground and partly moat, which is covered by greenery.
Successive governments have neglected and ignored it.
In a serious country where people took pride in their history and heritage, that wall would have been our BIGGEST INCOME EARNER even more than oil, as a result of tourism.
This is literally the biggest man-made structure ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH!
Yet most NIGERIANS don't even know it exists, talk less of the world's people.
Ordinary Stonehenge in England brings in more than 20 billion dollars annually to the UK in tourism receipts.
Stonehenge is just a few rocks piled on top of each other to form a small circle.
Stonehenge https://www.artnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/GettyImages-599815110-1.jpg

Why is it RCCG that is ringing everywhere? Adeboye hasn't taken strict measures to ensure the sanctity of his church. Now it is coming to light and any body can just minister on the pulpit and any political crook can do whatever.
If people like idahosa were alive you wouldn't see this in his church and trying to be making statements in order not to offend people and instead speak out against nonsense going on his church. RCCG is ringing everywhere because it's the most popular church in Nigeria today. Your argument and position is baseless and clearly biased induced. Maybe you should tell me what you have against RCCG or Pastor Adeboye. You definitely have an axe to grind. Are you a member of the church? If no. I need candid advice, folks. I just parted with over 300k unplanned fund for her C.S. This statement tells me a lot about you and your mindset. You didn't do your wife any favour by paying for the Ceasarean Section, you did yourself good. Pregnancy and childbirth are emotionally and psychologically draining on women and not all women have the same strength level to handle. You should make your marriage work. I feel your attitude to her (maybe because of the 300k) is getting to her. Only God knows what you have put her through these few days considering your TONE in this message. olisaEze: BUSINESS DAY Gold export hits N78bn, highest on record Oladehinde Oladipo Oladehinde Oladipo June 9, 2023
"Africa’s biggest economy has exported gold worth N78.9 billion within the last 15 months, a first-time trend in Nigeria’s export economy.
Findings by BusinessDay showed Nigeria is gradually tapping from a cash-spinning mining sector that has remained largely under-utilised since the crude oil boom, a development that is part of a key step in efforts to pivot the economy away from oil.
Data gleaned from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed Nigeria exported nonmonetary gold (including gold plated with platinum) in powder form to Switzerland valued at N14.39 billion in the first quarter of 2023.
Further findings showed Nigeria exported nonmonetary gold worth $61.6bn in 2022, the highest since NBS started collating data."

ViktorOG: Great contribution. Kudos! Do you know anything about lagos to cotonou? Your contribution on this will be greatly appreciated! Thanks again Lagos to Cotonou is straightforward. I was there late June and returned early July for the first timer. I still spent more than I should being a first timer who drivers and Okada riders want to take advantage of. But my return trip was smooth and cheaper. Your best and cheapest way is to find your way to Badagry from Mile 2 or Alaba or around LASU. Don't take Seme border straight from these places unless you have load of cash. Mile 2 to Badagry is between 1500-2000 (I paid ₦800 in July). Badagry to Seme border is between ₦800-1000 (I paid ₦700 in July) Just walk straight to the border, avoid those Okada guys with sweet mouth that they will carry you through. The 2-3k they will charge is a waste. I paid why going due to ignorance. Just walk straight in, if you want to stamp your passport, hold it and your Yellow card. I stamped mine and gave ₦500 to NIS while the Benin immigration collected ₦1000 to stamp me into the country. I paid ₦500 to the security men as I was being carried out by the Okada. It's better to get to the park and board a vehicle. It's less than 10 minutes from the border along the road once you enter the country. Return trip was far better as I had learnt my lesson. From Cotonou straight to the park at Seme. I walked straight to the border, Ports Health asked for my Yellow card, and wanted to collect money because I don't have Meningitis vaccine record. I pleaded since I was low on cash. They let me go. Stamping my passport, the Benin guy asked for ₦1000, I gave him the 400cfa with me. He took it and stamped my passport. At the Nigeria window, my passport was stamped, he asked for 1k, I told him I didn't have, which was true as I needed to cross to use POS. He let me go. That's how I just walked out through the gate back to Nigeria. If you don't have passport, be ready to give at least 1k to our immigration guys at the gate (Nigeria end) and 500 or 1k to Benin guys at their end. You are in. |
