Christianity Etc › Re: What Is Your Church's Theme (year Of) For 2024? by writeprof(m): 9:27pm On Dec 31, 2023 |
RCCG- DIVINE REPOSITIONING
LFC - REDEEMED TO FLOURISH IN HARD TIMES.
ME - THE PEOPLE THAT KNOW THEIR GOD...
These themes reveal something about 2024 but for the redeemed, our stories will be that of glory so far we stay with God as we work hard.
Psalm 143:8,10 KJV Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
[10] Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Psalm 5:8 KJV Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024 IN ADVANCE. |

It's our tastes for foreign goods and services. Let's stop blaming the masses for the foolish economic policies that this country has be bedeviled with for years. People have taste for foreign goods and services in every country of the world. Responsible governments have the responsibility to regulate and control such taste by their economic regulations and policies which are strictly implemented and enforced. In Europe, you hardly buy a car unless it's necessary as you would have to pay taxes on it, so you see some Europeans who have never driven a car, not because they don't want to but it is not necessary. The European governments have also ensured that the public transport system is well organised so there is an alternative to buying your personal car and paying taxes. |

It is baseless putting the blame for this government on any tribe. I was in a core State in the SW, MANY, I mean, many Yorubas especially the youths voted for PO...I was among many tactically disenfranchised on that day. This government is a product of the NIGERIAN POLITICAL CLASS (a group that is very UNITED across ETHNIC & RELIGIOUS divide) who knows that PO is a danger to their hold on government. I am yet to understand the explanation of APC winning election in RIVERS STATE. I said it and still say it that the NIGERIA that PMB was leaving behind was that which needed men like PO or PYO to handle, not business as usual politicians. GOD BIG PASS ALL OF THEM |

All of us can see the results. Please, today is Christmas. Don't blame GOD for wicked leadership in Nigeria/Africa. GOD did not bless those nations with leaders. Their leaders are men and women who DECIDED to put the fear of God as their guiding principles in the leadership of their countries. Thus, they ensured a SYSTEM that catered for their people/nations. Nigeria/Africa political leadership is still steeped in satanic wickedness which is the foundation for selfishness, corruption, and unexplainable craze for acquisitions that are lost to develop other nations of the world. |

Salah understands the difference between RELIGION and RELATIONSHIP. Christmas is the true celebration of a relationship with Jesus Christ even if the world identify him with religion.
Religious people - Pharisees, Scribes, Priests etc were the ones who planned and killed Jesus Christ.
Christianity is not a religion but a relationship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. |

Valoromega: My wife and I are expecting our first child, so currently I'm saving up money before the baby comes, we are also trying to get baby things of almost 400k.
But she wants me to buy Christmas rice for her mom. I've already decided that I'm not buying anything for anyone this December, including my own mom. But she wants me to buy for her mom which I refused becauze my baby is more important. Mind you, she has elder ones who can't even get anything for their mom this December (she's the youngest). I just lied to her that I'm broke and I don't have any money. But I have close to 1.7 million which I want I to save for the baby and also get a car for when the baby comes.
I'm I making the right decision by ignoring everyone this December or should I take like 100k and just buy a bag of rice and share to the mom.
Personally I don't want to spend a dime on anyone because my child is the most important thing right now It's very compulsory you send something to your MOTHER and MOTHER IN LAW especially this Christmas season, EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE. BUT YOU EVEN HAVE. You don't need your wife to prompt you. It's part of what makes a married man, a responsible person. I did exactly that today. The amount is inconsequential but the results are what will make your marriage enjoyable. Please, be careful of not creating enemies for your unborn child, it's too early. I hope the way you were saying "my baby, my baby ' is not the way you talk even to your wife about the child. WISDOM IS PROFITABLE TO DIRECT. GOD BLESS YOU. |

Prosperity4All: But be assured that Nigeria will never be restructured while the current structure suits the leaders. So the leadership issue must first be resolved and we have witnessed the worst election in the world. Meaning ONLY a revolution will correct the leadership. Definitely. The crop of leadership today can never champion restructuring. Sadly, the 'Nigeria House' is even too "divided and segregated" for any people-centred revolution to take place at present. |

Prosperity4All: You are correct. Restructuring the federal structure and making States/LGA to have more control of their resources is essential. That's just it. Many Nigerians I believe would comfortably stay back in their villages/towns/LGAs/states doing their businesses or jobs if such restructuring is done. Leadership is forced to look inward and be productive. Nigeria is yet to harness 20 per cent of her potentials in Agriculture which EVERY state and LGA can get involved in until we feed the West Africa region for a start. Imagine Nigeria importing palm oil, and other unthinkable things we have been blessed to produce if the nation is working. |

Prosperity4All: There was a time when it was like that in Nigeria. As university students lots of us used to travel in the night for cheaper transport. In fact late 90s it's from 10pm I and my guys start rolling in Lagos. I remember a Printer delivering wedding programme at my cousin's house in Jakande estate as late as 2am for a wedding by 9am. He kept he was coming that he held up with other engagements at the Island. As recent as 2001, I enter Edo state from Lagos by 12 midnight and head to Ekewan road from Iyaro. During this period the only miscreants carrying guns you were afraid of naa police. Nigeria should ordinarily be the Tourism headquarters of the world. The experience of cultural diversity from Warri to Port-Harcourt to Calabar (God bless Donald Duke) to Okene to Kaduna is so much and you haven't even experienced one-tenth of the culture and not even talking of places (tourist attraction) to visit in any of these locations. But Nigeria has lost its glory to cultism and corruption. Wipe out these two and see the Giant God created in the geographical Landmass. Blessed with everything. We need a very Strong uncompromised leader to achieve that. Can you imagine Tinubu begging multinationals not to leave Nigeria, which Nigerian president ever did that. The number one destination in Africa for investors. In the absence of a Strong uncompromised leader only a revolution will wipeout cultism and corruption to restore the Glory of God's own country. The Nigerian situation saddens. The Federal structure of Nigeria is the mother of corruption on its own. To kill corruption, this country needs to be restructured in a way that the federal behemoth is reduced while smaller units like states become more accountable to the people. |
