PoliticsRe: Nigerians Will Ask For Jonathan In 2015 — Okupe by Wsdm: 9:21am On Feb 09, 2013
I am going to vote for him if he fulfils 30% of the promises he made. I can vote for the opposition base on their manifesto and the incumbent base on performance.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is Working, Haters Are Talking! (New Images Are Added Daily) by Wsdm: 3:53pm On Feb 06, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: Just for your information, I ENJOY posting these comments, just the same way I enjoy watching football and lawn tennis. All that I posted this evening had been on my mind for sometime but for the patience and time to put them together. I'm glad I used the opportunity of watching todays AFCON matches to pour out my heart again on NL.

When I say I'm not being paid, some of you dont believe me. I dont know why but it may be because some of you are being paid to take positions on NL.

As a medical doctor, I'm a fulfiled man. But I wouldn't mind receiving extra pay for doing what I enjoy. I enjoy supporting GEJ and if I can get extra pay for supporting him or for time spent on the internet, I wouldn't mind. But if I dont get extra pay, I still dont mind.

But the MOST IMPORTANT thing for me is that I enjoy doing what I do. I got a strong feeling of personal satisfaction from opening this thread and reading the contents again and again. Thats what matters. I dont care what people think or say.
Oh yes! You are doing this because you are comfortable. Put your self in the shoes of millions of capable people suffering because of the sudden removal of fuel subsidy by this government among other things and talk objectively if truly you are a "sincere Nigerian".

With time he will be preaching to empty chairs.
But know that the inter and intra faith supporters he has because of his stands against oppression can not desert him. Geskiya the present CAN is na wa o!
SportsRe: NFF Thanks T.B Joshua For Eagles Victory by Wsdm: 7:08am On Feb 06, 2013
Sometimes i just laugh. The Christians claim a forceful socialization but in the real sense of it they are really in the contrary. How on earth will a public official say this in a secular state like Nigeria. The other time it was the president putting Nigeria in the hand of a pastor. Abacha called on both Christians and Muslims to pray for Nigeria at the period of national confusion. Even in a national program you will hear Christians bringing out their faith as if no other person exist in the country. Is this the socialization that you all claim you have? May be the octopus that predicted the outcomes of the world cup was also "Octopus of God".
PoliticsRe: Northern Senators Meet Over Igbo Domination In Army by Wsdm: 6:50am On Feb 05, 2013
Although there are other pressing issues that have beeing neglected by these senators, but they have every right to convene a meeting on something they feel is affecting the zone they represent.

Mr David, watch the senate you preside over and tell us if even Satan can accept any of your prayers. But i am so surprise that these people still believe in God considering the mess they have puten us.
PoliticsRe: Presidency Sets-up Task-force On Ezekwesili's Remarks by Wsdm: 4:05pm On Jan 30, 2013
The more they try to walk away the more they slip into the river. Save Nigerian Group, the oppositions merger committee, Nigeria impoverished population, the so called Nigerian Labor Congress and the media, let us not leave this woman alone in this intellectual revolution. A responsible government learn from constructive criticism. But by their response it is clear that they are deliberately culpable.

Michaeljones36: The Nigerian Army should cease fire when all the terrorists are dead!

Their friends in Mali just destroyed hundreds of years of black African history in Timbuktu. They set fire to ancient libraries full of books that the Mandinkas had hidden from the French during colonial times.

Ancient history books were burned. Books that were written during the time of the great West African empires. The written histories of the Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani, Igbo, etc people were among the books burned.

If I was in Mali I would join the military today to get revenge on these fools. Burning MUSLIM books while calling yourself Boko Haram (Western Education is Sinful) means you are an idi*t.

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Agree To A Cease Fire by Wsdm: 6:25am On Jan 29, 2013
warrior01: This is all part of the game plan; as 2015 is fast approaching they would declare a cease fire and hope gullible Nigerians especially Southerners would as usual forget and vote in a Northerner for ' peace' to reign. We are no fools as the so called Boko haram is being sponsored by northern elites to destabilize the present govt and make it seem it effective in the eyes of Nigerians.
If boko haram have indeed made the government ineffective in developing Nigeria as you have assert, why is looting the only thing experiencing an 'upward review syndrome'?. Back to the topic, i do not believe in this as it may just be a ploy by the government to justify their much criticized intervention in Mali. Their usual way of posting such sensitive message is the u-tube.

tete7000: Is this not the woman that crippled unity schools during her time as education m
inister? For me the woman doesn't deserve accolades she is being given. Obasanjo govt in which she served was hardly better than the present govt and as ministers in different ministies I don't know what her legacies were.
Could you please check all what she has said and tell us any lie in it. Forget about what ever porous allegation you have on her person afterall all precious stones used as ornament where all found in the "Dirt" of the earth but it did'nt reduce their ornamental value.
PoliticsRe: $67B Reserves: Ezekwesili Challenges Maku To Public Debate by Wsdm: 5:44am On Jan 29, 2013
If a Muslim says the truth they call him boko haram , a Christian says the truth they call him anti Christ, a politician they call him opposition, a former president they call him confused man, another tribe they call him ethnic bigot and now an expert on who's eyes you squandered these unpatriotic money is talking and you think you can cover up as usual. 'Oya' fix a date for an intellectual display if you have any truth.

PoliticsRe: Pictures Of Nigerian Troops Arrival In Mali by Wsdm: 6:39pm On Jan 18, 2013
I am scared of two things: 1- these insurgent may be too strong for our men because of what Almighty America saw in Iraq and Afghanistan, 2- they may turn around to attack a us back at home if our soldiers succeeds in dealing with them.
Foreign AffairsRe: 34 Hostages Killed In Air Strike By Algerian Forces by Wsdm: 11:04am On Jan 18, 2013
pappilo: Thats where you are wrong. Do you think these kidnappers had any plans to come out alive? They are happy to die! It is even better for them when they take along with them a whole lot of so called 'infidels' who are afraid to die.

Any normal human being would run away from big fights but these guys love it. Why else would rebels in Mali with old Kalashnikovs face the might of the mighty French army? The US has been in Afghanistan since 2011 and they havent succeeded in killing every Taliban. You would expect normal people to run away when it gets too hot but these mofos stay and fight! The French tried to rescue one of their secret agents being held captive in Somalia by Al shabab about 10 days ago. They came with 5 helicpters and enough firpower to level the military cantoment in Ikeja yet these mofo stayed and fight with thir kalshnikovs and killed 2 French commandos and executed the hostage as well.

This cycle of violence/war will continue and I see no end to it until the philosophy which holds one race superior to another is permanently discredited and abandoned. Until the west stop meddling in the affairs of other countries and stops turning brothers on brothers. Until the United Nations scraps the veto power. Until.......
I wish that people like you could lead Africa from mental slavery. You are a good man.

As much as i acknowledge that this man is still a strong man in a CORRUPT NIGERIA, the fact still remain that it is through his hand work that we find our selves in this BIG MESS( Jonathan). So instead of forecasting doom, he is suppose to be apologizing to us(Nigerians).

She is someone's mother, wife, sister, Aunty, Best friend, mentor etc
atleast, think abt these people....
And i dont think she has committed any crime in Nigeria, so why d hate?
i understand your emotion. But remember that all those sentenced to death base on various crimes are also related to people as you have mentioned above. These people have through their life style sent so many people to early grave and impoverished so many without feeling any remorse whatsoever and you expect me to pity for their predicament. They are on their own.

I just pity for the poor troops that will be send to that region. Troops that can not be equiped enough to fight a local terrorist group are now send on a suicide mission to go and face a well organized and sophisticated international fighters.

PoliticsRe: Ahmadu Ali Is The New PDP BoT Chairman by Wsdm: 6:25am On Jan 09, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: My friend, you better stop hallucinating. GEJ picks his battles and goes for the kill. There's no evidence to show that Ahmadu Ali or whoever was elected BOT chairman did not get the support of GEJ, neither is there any evidence that the new BOT chairman is OBJ's candidate. All we hear and see is media speculation- today they'll say GEJ is supporting southeast candidate to emerge BOT chair, tomorrow Aneni, next they'll say he's undecided, etc. GEJ had his way in getting his prefered candidate as PDP chairman. Whatever happens, OBJ is politically dead. The PDP 2015 presidential primary election is ALREADY in the bag for GEJ. Those who dont like the face of GEJ should prepare to meet him in the general election come 2015
I have tried so much never to quote you in any way largely due to you subjective comments. I respect your zeal as all your comments is a job-seeking-application for employment under Gej. Congrat in anticipation.
PoliticsRe: Governor Obi Apprehends Tanker Driver Over Traffic Offence by Wsdm: 6:05am On Jan 09, 2013
norrisman: Do Governors really have the power to arrest/apprehend. Do you ever wonder why we never hear of stories of MPs in the UK or Governors in the US arresting people? Because they have no such power. The governor is not different from me ad you and has absolutely no power to arrest/apprehend anyone.
... Concurrently, if governors are now the one arresting people for various offenses what is then the work of the security agencies employed to do these works? That also means at the absence of the governor, things will fall apart.
PoliticsRe: The Most Respected & Honoured Man In Nigeria Currently by Wsdm: 2:32am On Jan 06, 2013
You can't generalize by picking a single person: North- Buhari; South west- Professor Wole Soyinka; South East- pro. Achebe/ Late Ojukwu and South South- Jonathan. Dangote is a business man and in Nigeria, we respect people base on how they have impacted on our geopolitical advancement.

FashionRe: Much Fanfare About Slim Girls/women by Wsdm: 10:48am On Jan 03, 2013
semid4lyfe: Why must it be about "white culture" infiltrating our lives and not simply about preference and choice?

Majority Lots of people, me included cannot stand fat chubby women and will have nothing to do with them romantically
if you have one as your sibling and this is said about her, what will you feel? Note that no body chooses their natural look. And if you try to alter it, late Stella Obassanjo and 'my fellow widow' will explain better.
PoliticsRe: Did Azazi Supply Arms To Niger Delta Militants? by Wsdm: 3:33pm On Jan 02, 2013
rajiade: Either dead or alive, this report should be investigated, Azazi could still be prosecuted along with others involved if found guilty.

Our sentiment can never make us grow in Nigeria. Our attitude of leave the Message and attack the Messenger would continue to drag us down as a nation. If investigations as regard atrocities carried out by Abacha and his accomplice could still be carried out after his death till date, then why not this.

If the report holds true, all those still leaving should be heavily punished. And if it is false, those behind the report should be prosecuted for misleading the Nation. This is the only way we can progress, along side fight corruption.

I still doubt Nigeria would ever get better till d last day, instead our problems would only take new dimension with time, because the cause of our problem is an aggregation of our individual inborn bad traits which seem to be heredity. Every Nigerian has a trait of Corruption, Falsehood, Bigotry, Sentiment, Gullibility, Fanaticism, Extremism, Wickedness and Greed.
And by nature, we have grown to learn to manage and endure our problems/condition, that's why we are never ready for a change, especially if it would affect Us, Our relative, Kins Men, Tribes Men, Brother in Religion or Party Member.

And No matter how much we pray, God would only laugh at us as fools, because we are hypocrites of the highest order!
May God increase your foresight. I couldn't have said it any better.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Let's Pray For Our Leaders And Not Insult Them In 2013 by Wsdm: 3:58pm On Jan 01, 2013
Rather put it this way; Let the leaders start doing the right things so as not to be insulted by us. A report on daily trust online has it that; 'the senate were on holiday for 158 days and only had plenary section for 100days in 2012' . Check their salaries and their works and tell me to keep quiet when larger % of the citizens lives below poverty line. It is your like that legitimize their looting and make the rest of us coward. I don't think you are more religious than Martin Luther King junior a Reverend who freed the blacks in U.S from discrimination through his DEMONSTRATION.

Errone shud b allowed to wear wat he/she is comfortable in...its nt religion to dress covered or scantily, its moral...dress the way u want to b adressed..indeed God see's d heart of all.
Polygamy is a religious activity permitted by their faith. Eventhough it looks indecent to you does not qualifies it INDECENCY. But point blank ; the Holy Bible did not accept indecent dressing, Why can't we all adhere to this simple instruction?
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Women Dress Indecently To Church Nowadays by Wsdm: 7:19pm On Dec 30, 2012
vanstanzy: I'll agree with u, Islam has an upper hand when it comes to modest dressing. But, they (Muslims) too are not spared by the rising indecency in the world.. Its a Virus in the worlds' system
But the Muslim clerics are generally staunch critics of these indescencies even though some wayward are doing otherwise. If the pastors are generally criticizing these things like their counterparts in Islam, i assure you that it will reduce drastically. If we can not find DECENCY in the HOLY houses what is our hope?
