In a state like Nigeria were ethnicity have stood as a major pillar that hinders our political development, somebody of his calibre should be wary of what he says no matter how true it may be or seems to be. Buhari is losing a lot of respect from other ethnic groups in the country today because of saying what he 'seems to be the truth'. |
Chyko4spe: God have mercy upon us! But if the bus was yet to be found, where did the OP get d image he posted?......... May be the op got the picture from the scene while the commandant got her information from her office. |
Base on this saying ; "majority carry the vote", all men are polygamous in nature, some are doing it overtly while most others are doing it covertly. But in this modern time at the era of almighty HIV/AIDS, men still go without condom! |
It is a good thing they call to order the executives anytime, but i do not see any credibility in the present Mark's led senate. They should go and borrow a leaf from The Hero (Ken Nnamani) led-senate so as to revive their lost glory. Sorry for the little digress; senator Ken Nnamani is one of the greatest senate president we have had so far in this country. You will not hear his name because in Nigeria, we celebrate mediocre instead. |
Who's failure is it to protect these people? Is it the Jtf with meager allocations or the ex- militant turned contractors? Have we not seen that crime perpetrators are having unimaginable freedom under this regime. I just wish God almighty will call these leaders to order. |
@ Sam Milla:Thank you very much. When i hear the trash that comes out of their mouth, i feel very bad for this country. Can you imagine that this woman used the task payer's money for what ever she went to do, came back on presidential jet still on our head, to slap our faces with this utterances. With this, She is still left with some ailment undiognize or untreated. I am still wishing her 'speedy recovery'. |
There is no organize crime that goes unchallenged in this country without the involvement of the police. It is when we start seeing injustice done to other as been done to us that we will overcome this brutality. May they rest and the reverse of peace should go to the perpetrators of this heinous crime. |
legalwealth: Can they win Federal Government? If this case can be tendered in the international court, i advise them to do just that. Except they did not know that in the recent past, the judiciary in nigeria have been for those in power, the cabal and the highest bidder. The impact have resulted in people taking laws in to their hands. Relying on those corrupt ridden minds( the nigerian judiciary) is a wasting of time. |

This happens in virtually all the states in Nigeria. Ok, if this is true, then what is the essence of these executives? This state is presently battling with major disaster, and another awaiting tussle with a neighbouring state about oil. If all these could not occupy the agenda of the state politicians, there is no near-future hope for that state. |
Oh sorry! If ha hadn't slow down the dredging of river Niger that late Yaradua started because of his epitome of i don't care attitude, at least the effect of this flood will have been reduced . If his house is affected , let him go and stay in his fellow victims camp for just a day and realise what his clueless attitude is doing to us. |
They are only telling the governor to stop empty bragging. His unnecessary noise is only bringing the state down. Just few days back he was boasting that his effort drove boko haram from his state. He made a similar bragging during the fuel subsidy protest were he was nearly lynch be angry mobs. May God bring an end to this mess. |
This administration is just characterize by parties of unseriouse men. If they could be handling a very clear case like this, what about other covert cases? I am so ashamed for them. They replicate a child in the cradle. May we through God's guidance stand one day to reclaim our land from this colonialism. If not for our sake, for the sake of our little innocent children. |
The government taught us all that. From flaunting obvious contractual terms to the fake promises of fictitious minimum wages and so on. Just make sure you do not hand over without collecting your pay first, if not ; you may never get paid again and the customer may also never patronize you again. |
If not that the boko haram have degenerated to killing innocent people, i will have said; they serve the police right. Police in this country is really a bad omen. May her soul rest in peace. |
He has taken first as the most show-up governor of the year. I don't know the merit he is claiming whereas the most potent terrorists attack on a religious building so far happened in his state( the madalla church bombing). Thugs who they call 'yan- Banga' are having a field day with even offices, uniform and patrol van. Don't just fall into their traps by mistake or otherwise, especially when you are not an indigen. When you go through his state , you will see hundreds of gigantic bill bored at every strategic place depicting no meaningful message. He has manipulated the state assembly so much that for the five years he has ruled he has changed their speaker five times. He has been very successful in fighting his political enemies. As educated as he is, the public secondary and primary school in the state are in shamble.Nigerlites are just praying for his time to elapse so that they can breath a fresh air again. |
Are we not already used to the total removal of fuel subsidy? Afterall, so many of us are buying it now well over the anticipated price after its proposed removal. This is truly a short-sighted government. May God see us through. |
As much as i want justice for those boys( may their soul rest in peace) i do not believe that these culprits will ever get anything close to their actions. Question: since the inception of this administration , have any body been convicted for any serious offence? All you hear is; a man has been sentence to three months in prison with an option of 1000 Naira fine for stealing one tuber of yam. |
It is a good initiative . But the only statement i can ever take seriously from the president is the one he makes when he travels to a foreign land. A case study;....... 'Not appealing the Bakkassi case'. The series of statement he made to us are; From flaunting an agreement he was a signatory( zoning arrangement) to the promise of fresh air, on top of bokoharam and so on and so forth. |
That is the more reason why we should throw sentiment away and always vote for the right person. If he could behave this way to his own region , you can now see what the rest of us are passing through in the other parts of the country. If there is no other option, you better calm down and negotiate a better option with your new country( Cameroun). Best of luck. |
Although flood is part of the problems facing the country. But a presidential speech is suppose to be more weighty than what we heard this morning. Today is the day Nigerian covertly give out Bakkassi away, look at how students are now victims of security failure in all parts of the country, armed bandits is the order of the day including all mighty oil theft, institutionalized corruption in every facet of our life. These and many more are the things i was expecting the president to address. If this is the only reason he made a nation wide broadcast, there are many mouth piece in his cabinet who should have done it. |
Instead of us to collectively lash on This lame government for its Inability to secure us which is even their primary work,we continue to blame this and that. Can we now see why it is good to punish people for their crime to humanity? I hope somebody will not start preaching untenable 'confession/forgiveness' as the only way to atone for this very sinful and barbaric act. |
I hope you people know that any body regardless of his religious belief visit this thread. If you make you religion look as if it grant free will to its adherents to subvert its meaning to suit their ego/lust, please ' what signal are you sending'? At least, religion should guide the conduct of men not otherwise. So, take note! |
Well! Everybody is entitle to their belief. I don't like commenting on religious matters. I just wish you all can see how funny you sound to some of us when you come here to neither defend nor insult your various denominations on the same religion. Is this not the religious intolerance you accuse others of? If you can be saying all these things about your selves, nobody should then be surprise on what you say about others. |
Is a good thing. But natural resources is not a ticket to good living as we have all experienced in this country. The ticket is; good leaders, as we have also seen in most developed world that have minimal natural resources. Let us focus on good leadership and everything is at our disposal. |
If it where when the S.U.G was truly for the students, a serious challenge against an all-weak government would have been inevitable in this circumstance at least in SOLIDARITY to those cold-blooded students. I pray GOD admit them in the highest place in His presence and let those evil doers get their due punishment in no time at all. |
Even after all these, how many staffs do they need considering the numbers of unemployed youths? What we should table before the president is enabling environment for entrepreneurial development as this is the only solution to joblessness. If the environment is conducive, believe me that this amount of money can be used to start something at least. |
I am also waiting for the election observers to come and refute their baseless claims on the last election. If the president have no international support groups, he will start acting. |
......A very nice post! You have put up something that shall be translated into So many aspects of life. I hope i will not be charged for copyright if i use your ideas on on my estate/property consultancy services. |
The only reason why this can't stop is the hatred amongst us which our leaders have orchestrated. We don't believe that military molestation in the south should be condemned in the north and vis-versa. The same soldier that molest an ijaw man today could be transferred to the north tomorrow. If he is aware that the north have been in solidarity with their southern counterparts, he will tread with caution. Can you now see how cowardice most of us have sunk? |
These old and wise sayings may have to be reviewed urgently: ' what an elder sees while sitting down can not be seen................'; 'There is wisdom in grey heir'. By the saying and thinking of this man and his cohorts, i pledge we review the above sayings. |
Eventhough it has not been confirmed who is behind this attack. Is it wise to believe in government's rhetoric on 'on top of the situation' or wiser to take the boko haram threat serious each time they threaten? May the innocent lives rest in peace. May God almighty guide us to defeat our common enemies. |
