Oh my God! Then what is his worth if he could have been indebted to this tune? And the poor entrepreneur who are even the engine-growth of the economy are been seriously suffocated by innaccessibility to bank loan due largely to high interest rate. I stand to be corrected; NO COUNTRY IN THE WORLD CAN DEVELOP WITHOUT ITS POPULACE HAVING ACCESS TO BEARABLE LOAN CONDITIONS! Point of note also ; virtually all developed countries of the world have single digit interest rate on loan. May God direct us to help our selves. |
You have brought in a very good topic. You should have included all matured people instead of segregation. Don't you know that no particular set of people have the monopoly of good advice? Afterall, human can even learn from the animal. Bye-bye!! |
My question is ; why is the president always referring to an international observers as a yard stick to measure his performance? Tell us what we can feel directly as a people and stop telling us what a 'probably paid' foreigner said. |
Never mind, they may just be emulating their overall 'OGA' who is already celebrating a national ceremony in his 'enclave' for only them-knows-convinced-reasons. |
INTERESTING!!! This is one of the boldest steps taken by this government so far. My wish is that we all reap the positive outcome of this conference. |
deols: the reasoning capability of many people here is questionable. |
If this is all true ,What is the different between them and those cabal that shredded late Yaradua's health in mystery? I am really tired of this nonsense! |
There can never be such zone in Nigeria. One thing that keep surprising me is that, while the government keep telling us that tobacco smoking is dangerous to health , they have not deem it fit to ban its production and sale as they did to weeds and cocaine. Instead it went ahead to give licence to British and Americans to co- own one of the biggest tobacco company in Africa on our soil. Is this then not an irony? |
It is a general belief that "Familiarity breeds contempt". It is in the nature of human that they do not take too precious something that already belongs to them. The only way to keep the relationship moving is simply to respect the laid down principles of marriage: If you are a Muslim nor Christian, you have principles that guides you, if you are neither of the above too; follow the laws of your land about marriage rules and regulations. |
May God save us of this menace once and for all. |
Could it be that the bishops are equally emulating their counterparts in the other faith but in a more so-called civilised ways. But still, i am totally against violent protest. How much do the Christians and Muslims understands that these people do not regard them at all at all. The new world order does not give any consideration to any of them. |
@kenistry.And you say Muslims are intolerant. What have you just displayed now? The moment we remove this intolerable attitude from our collective lives, the better the world will be. R.I.P to the man. |
Kenistry: all dis jst because he said d truth? |
It is not their fault. It is the fault of our president who asked them to start exporting rice to Nigeria. Meanwhile, this rice can be exported from Nigeria after satisfying local needs if we are in any way serious . |
Ikenna!Your knowledge of automobile is outstanding, keep it up. |
Ikenna351: Wrong. |
They are merely telling him that charity begins at home. When last did he address the nation he preside over, eventhough it has faced the most daunting challenges in resent past. |
If this rule by Saudi authority is not relaxed, then very few people will be performing this religious obligation in the future. There are other avenue of worshiping God afterall, there is a clause on this one; "if you can afford it". If you can not afford it base on the present rules, please use the little money you have for the downtrodden that are everywhere in our society. With this, you might even have registered for a heavenly title rather than the one we acquire here if it is true we seek the countenance of God. Anyway, sorry for the hardship you all did not bargain for. |
It is obvious that these government officials usually attend a class were they are been taught unguarded statement. If you agree to failure, then kindly follow the path of honor by simply resigning. |
Nigeria government= best world's policy makers and worst in implementation. What a nice press statement by the president! |
I hope they know that Maku is speaking for someone whom that reaction from the senate president may indirectly be directed to afterall. |
The solution i have adopted are: I allow my wife pursue her carrier after all i also have to sacrifice in marriage(my wife and my children) because the financial plight of orphans and widows in our society is pathetic eventhough we all pray for long lives , i try my best to provide all that is within my responsibilities including those she can provide for self; i hardly collect any money from her savings, at extreme level, i borrow and return it accordingly , she is allowed to send money to her parents if i don't have. All these i have adopted so as to confidently control my house as the head. I am not ruling out divorce in the case of 'unreconcillable differences'(quote pastor Chris Okotie). |
Even if the president does not give a damn by cancelling any kind of trip as a mark of seriousness to curb the flood disaster in the country as we have seen most world's serious leaders do, the governor could also have followed the same patriotic path to visit the innocent Christians that were killed in cold blood on Sunday in his state. It may be that while one of them was running from flood, the other one from a possible s*c*d attack. God help us. |
It is pathetic that the president always make sensitive statement that concerns this nation outside its shore. Is he usually intoxicated by merely seeing a foreigner? This is an important issue that you and your cabinet have not made any serious attempt to calm them down. I don't know when appealing an issue amounts to disobedience to court ruling. |
This is a disaster that was predicted and have caused such damages. What about the disaster that comes suddenly? This one has further exposed the height of irresponsibility of our government on any serious issue that affects the nation. May God save and direct us. |
This man is great indeed! But intelligence can not be compared to WISDOM. One of the philosopher of old (al -Ghazali) once said; "the gold is found in mud, and is used as ornament". The claims that religion has its adherence deviate from the true teachings does not make it the worst way of life. Human mind is generally corrupt, then what else can stop someone from doing a bad thing while alone if not the fear of a 'WATCHER' unseen that religion have made us to know? |
Can you see how they see us ( Nigerians/black men). Imagine that the Saudi Authorities didn't inform the Nigeria counterpart beforehand. Can they do this to any other country? Is it not time for the Nigerian Muslims to start to understand the limit of relationship that exists between them instead of always remaining at the receiving end? Women! I beg, do not resist deportation if that is what they decides. |
If she is sick i wish her quick recovery. But the presidency said she is just resting. Will you pray for someone that has not asked for your prayers rather than pray for the poor nature of our collective life. I pray to God to clear the water presently in Lokoja that holds travellers hostage and have added another hardships to the already colonized masses and He should save us from all the calamities that have ravaged this GREAT Nation. |
This is too bad. An act that should be condemned by all and sundry. The reality is that nobody is save. Oh God!come to our aid. Nobody should be angry with any insult on this forum. I don't know how you can be angry with someone you don't know. Take it as a mare write-up. |
Good skill,CAPITAL, sound moral behavior, patience, sound health, wisdom, long life, and above all 'PRAYER'. @op! More grease to your elbow. |
There is nothing bad in seeking for the highest level in education, but it is not at all easy in Nigeria. The time you spend alone to obtain your first degree is alarming+the time you spend searching for an average job+the time you spend to reciprocate to your guardian +the time you spend in setting up an average family= time gone. It takes the grace of God for one to scale through. |
It didn't surprise me at all since it is coming from the white men; these are people that believes in free-will. Do you know what free-will can tell you? If a cow consent to your desire, you can become husband and wife. |
