Hello NBA et al

Could you explain to me how u place orders via the online service at vetiva?

I have been trying to place buy orders, but when I click the BUY button (after entering stock details, target price , volumes and dates, I dont get any confirmation that the buy order has been placed. I just see an empty screen.

Do u experience the same or am I getting something wrong?

Hello All,

Is there any Vetiva client who has been requested to forward "TELEX STATEMENT" in
order for Vetiva to be able to track funds he/she transfered into Vetiva's Domicilliary account?

I have been requested to provide and I dont quite understand it.

Someone kindly enlighten me on the proceedure for claiming your rights.
Can a stockbroker, on your instruction, exercise your right on your behalf?

This information is required in connection with Zenith Hybrid offer. I hear it begins on the 6th.

Thanks

donne4real:
1. What is the minimum to open the UBA NRN Account?
2. After opening the UBA NRN Account, will a stock brokerage account be automatically created?
3. What are the other alternatives to the UBA NRN?
4. What are the other stock brokerage companies with online presence and what is the minimum required by these companies?
NRN Current (min opening) =  NGN 50000
NRN Savings (min opening) =  NGN 25000

You can specify on your NRN account opening form that you want a broking
account opened, then it will be done simultaenously

See these for NRN details:
http://www.ubaplc.com/newubaplc/pagesNRN.asp?parent=1&id=13
http://www.ubaplc.com/newubaplc/pagesNRN.asp?parent=1&id=1
http://www.ubaplc.com/newubaplc/pagesNRN.asp?parent=1&id=2

As per alternatives, NBA/Etin and others users have talked about Diamond Reach
on this thread (pls browse tru). I know Oceanic bank has one too, see the linkbelow.

@X-2-X
To my suprise, my UBA NRN experience (if I ignore the charges) have been quite good. The account was opened in 1 week and the online access was completed in another 2 weeks.
I thought the charges where minimal, at least when u use the NRN Savings? Pls confirm that, cos I am on my way to opening a NRN account myself this weekend.

Thanks.

@NBA

Hmm. Not looking good at all. How much delay did you experience with UBA NRN?

@tonyjon - went to the bank, no show; luckily I found an old pal that is already a Vetiva client, he is writing me the Intro letter.

Thanks.

@babatunde

Hmm bros, this your list long sha. True "old school". I dont have any one of those songs, but I am sure a few peeps in here do just stick around.

Meantime, maybe u should register on www.esnips.com and share the songs you have. You can also try search on esnips with keywords for some of the songs on your list. For example, searching with "Onyeka" on esnips brings up the sond "one love"(though that is not on you list but u get the idea, you could be lucky with some other ones)

Cheers.

Hello All,

I finally got the Vetiva Account Opening forms mailed to me. I have filled the form and would be posting it back to Vetiva 2morrow. What I don't know is wether to transfer the initial cash requirement to their account or wait for them to acknowledge receipt of the forms / completion of the account opening before transfering the funds.

Can you guys who opened Vetiva account tell me the correct sequence?

Also they requested a letter of Introduction from either my banker or a vetiva client. As I don't know any vetiva client, I will ask from my bank, something tells me they may not oblige my request, in which case I plan to send the forms /documents without an introduction letter. I am being shortsighted ? Anyone did something similar.

Please advice a confused brother.

Thanks

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone here has information on how Nigerians in the diaspora can participate in the ongoing FCMB offer (without going through a stockbroker). My current stock broker does not have a domiciliary account through which I can remitt funds to them and I am currently in the middle of sorting out a new account with another stockbroker.

I was able to participate in oceanic PO in March by transfering the funds to a Special Oceanic Bank PO account setup for Nigerians in diaspora by Oceanic Bank. Does anyone know if FCMB has something similar?

Cheers.

All you guys talking nice about people who work for XYZ company helping you get mortgages etc, and posting their phone numbers! Why dont you post a weblink direct to the company, or a company email address or physical address for that matter. This will be good for reassurance.

No disrespect meant.
