horsepower101:I think i'll keep the champagne on ice until i see appreciable progress on this Enyimba City! We've seen too many empty MOUs, broken promises and false dawns in the SE...enough to make us a bit circumspect and cynical about all these grandiose plans. Though seeing Pascal Dozie there gives me a bit of hope. |
nellyelitz:Unless junketing to some rich, sunny location abroad is on the cards! ![]() |
dangotesmummy:Your head no correct! How can you place a prostitute, minding her own business and who never killed anyone on the same level with this debauched and sick murderer? |
arinzeejikonye:Yep! ![]() |
dubemnaija:Armed robbers are usually cowards! Once you strip them of their 'muscle' they become quivering wrecks! |
spyder880:The first pic looks nice. See how the grass looks well tended and how clean the road is. |
It will be difficult for the christian middle-belt to extricate themselves from the clutches of the core muslim north in anyway, as these muslims have, over the past 6 or so decades, infiltrated themselves into the land and society of the the middle-belt in the name of 'one north/Arewa', and are now forming indigenes in states like Kwara, Kogi, Benue, Nassarawa, Taraba, Adamawa and Plateau! These fulanis' are patient, willy and cunning long-term planners! They come as friends or visitors to your house, and before you know it they've taken over your bed, favourite seat in the parlour, and controlling the TV remote while claiming your wife as theirs! All this happening while you stand looking on in disbelief! Good luck to them sha! |
Kasy08133625633:That's a nice dynamic-looking pic of Onitsha. Almost thought it's obodo oyibo! ![]() |
hisgrace090:Quit sounding daft! New York and Hong Kong are densely built up...are they landlocked as well! I don't know why this erroneous notion of Igboland being landlocked makes some of you so happy and gives you a very stiff bone'r! ![]() |
Dremca:I'd also like to see a comprehensive collage of different pics of Onitsha GRA. What we have now is some pics of its skyline taken from afar, so it's difficult to see what's on ground...what's been done and what's lacking. The idea most of us have of a GRA (like the ones in Enugu and the old GRA in Port Harcourt) is leafy/tree-lined quiet streets, with old colonial houses full of character and history......as well as new-build mansions, all set in well-spaced compounds with boys quarters at the back. The roads are normally pot-hole free/smooth and adorned with street lights on either side. Abi na lie i talk? |
ibbo:You look at the likes of Buhari, Tinubu and Oshiomole....dudes desperate for power and who play do-or-die politics, and you still have confidence that your PVCs would make any difference come 2019 elections!? You're in for a rude awakening! ![]() |
chernest2002:Hehehehehe ![]() This time around he's hit the ball out of the park....he's hit a home run! |
foyeks2001:You're part of the problem if you can't admit that you were wrong in voting for Buhari over GEJ! Didn't you do you home work on the two candidates before going out to vote? Or you're easily led, hence were easily convinced by the jihadist/hegemonic north and their moronic southern allies that GEJ is the devil while Buhari is the saint and a 'reformed democrat'? |
luvmijeje:Can you imagine hundreds have been killed since this weekend, and it's not the major topic of the news on TV, radio and print media? Was watching NTA network news yesterday to see if they will give this murderous mayhem prominence in their news reportage, but they only mentioned it just in passing....just a footnote in an otherwise mundane news show filled with irrelevant twaddle! Can you imagine if hundreds were killed in the UK or US over the weekend, how the news reports would give back-to-back coverage of the mayhem? Just one person is killed in the UK and the entire country is on edge, not to mention hundreds! This country is fuc/ked up! It's lost all regard for life, and this is as a result of wanton greed, unbridled quest for power and hate for those of a different ethnicity or religion! When you ignore injustice meted out on others b'cos you hate them for one reason or the other, don't expect anyone to care or come to your aid when such evil comes knocking on your own door! Sadly, that's the attitude i've taken towards all this evil going on in this country! |
tballeyy:He truly deserves the award. Wasn't that much into his music before, but what converted me was IF, FALL and FIRE-FIRE-BURN. ![]() |
Ofodirinwa:Bros, as bad and distasteful as it may sound, subjugation is part of our unfolding story! Maybe reminding ourselves about it would help us prevent it from happening again. ![]() |
Ofodirinwa:The only Ezes i truly have respect for and see as genuine are Eze Nri, Obi of Onitsha and maybe one or two others! Nowadays, every fake arsse autonomous community has a Eze or Obi! These autonomous communities are created just so some greedy group of people can form chief and enjoy all the filthy lucre they expect will come with such a recognition! Benefits include getting paid to endorse a governor or president for a second term, together with receiving keys to a brand new jeep from the desperate governor! ![]() |

Feb. 02, 1956 - Royal Tour Of Nigeria Napoleon Of Nigeria Awaits The Queen. Photo shows He's impressive in his cloak as he awaits the Queen. There's a richness in his dress which all can admire. But it takes headgear to capture most attention Chief Idigo of Aguleri succeeds with a Napoleonic creation decorated with feathers. He was attending an investiture hold by the Queen at the House of the Assembly at Enugu, Eastern Nigeria.

iamkeyz:Nigeria is cursed! Given the wasted opportunities and resources God has blessed us with, there's no other conclusion one can arrive at! It's gotten to the stage that even Somalia is doing better than us! Besides this poverty rating that sees Nigeria carrying the entire thing on its head, when last did you hear of the wanton killing of hundreds of people over a weekend in Somalia? Mazi Kanus' prediction is starring us in the face! ![]() |
Greystone:Hehehehehe ![]() That's called being caught between a rock and a hard place! |
Mario1989:Yet they will be screaming sai baba! I guess they don't know any better! |
Hehehehe ![]() The one in the 2nd pic had his head bashed in by some APC thug! ![]() |
arinzeejikonye:Am i the only one getting a bit impatient with the slow pace of work at the centenary city? They started about the same time as the eko atlantic, yet that one, even though it's a more complicated job, has gone much further and seen noticeable progress. I was sceptical about the Enugu one at some point when i noticed the job done didn't reflect what was shown in the promotional video, but they seem to have improved things a bit...not minding the fact i noticed a few open gutters which i thought would be a no-no in the new estate. Also noticed they're using interlocking stones for the inner streets which is nice. They just need to hurry things up a bit, let's start to see some finished streets! And they shouldn't forget to plant trees at this early stage, so they can be matured by the time families start moving into their new homes. |
Second coming of 'christ'! We southerners are our biggest problem before we look for others to blame! How come northern governors and their other elite didn't fall over themselves to kiss GEJs butt the way southerners are doing for Buhari? I seem to remember GEJs convoy once being pelted with stones in the north and one of their governors (i think Kwakwanso) insulting him! ![]() |
Paperwhite:That your first sentence....it really beggars belief that this man has the temerity to go for a second term in office! But what really takes the biscuit is the fact that there's a possibility that he may win....with the aid of the hordes of brainless almajiri, illegal immigrants and conniving INEC officials in his corner! ![]() |
major466:But more importantly....tried, convicted and publicly executed! Fuc'king country, pandering to every whim and caprice of the fulani 'overlords'! |
Gangster1ms:Hehehehe ![]() Africans sef! That was how this cute owl (probably an endangered specie) was clobbered to death on the suspicion that the poor thing may have been sent by people from the village! |
