investnow2013:Everything is in place! I wonder why this game changer hasn't gotten off the drawing board? |
They were fast in moving this to the education section! If it had been a report that disparages Igbos or places 'another' ethnic group over Igbos it would have been left in the politics section for Igbo haters to have a field day! |
But i thought they said Igbos no dey go school? That we're into trading, while others are the studious ones into professional careers! ![]() |
Oilserv and NESTOIL need to form a partnership with the Anambra state gov't to utilise the vast gas reserves in the state for domestic and industrial use. |
Spotlight on Oilserv, an indigenous oil and gas servicing coy. They're currently building the largest size gas pipeline in Africa (the east-west gas pipeline), as well as the biggest gas treatment plant in Nigeria. Engr Emeka Okwuosa is the Chairman and Chief Executive of the coy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2qlPUtiT-Q |
Anyone else notice how massive that body of water in the pic is? Mind you what you're seeing is only about half of the width of the river as it's only showing from the bank to the island in the middle. If properly dredged, that river can take huge ships right up to Onitsha from the delta region! Only in a place like Nigeria can such a huge resource be wasted and not utilised because of corruption, hate and ethnic-politics! |
Very intelligent man! He has intentions of running for the next gubernatorial elections in Imo under APGA....it's his cerebral kind i'd like to see as their next governor! |
perdollar:Been watching a lot of porn lately? ![]() |
Any excuse not to turn up for work! Buhari would probably get a few extra hours in bed! Knowing friday and monday would be public holidays, why couldn't they put in a few hours overtime last week to compensate for the loss of those two days? |
Looks like the driver doesn't like a bit of girl-on-girl action! ![]() |
Chizuru01:Looking at him i'd say he's nothing less than 32! |
Roger3D:Your case is so pathetic! Anything Biafra gives you nightmares....why is that? What ethnicity spat you out, b'cos it's obvious they can't see a future worth living without sharing the same country with Ndigbo and any other group opting for Biafra! Doesn't it shame you that a people you despise so much are so indispensable to your sad existence? |
BeautifulMind2:....think alike! |
kingzizzy:Only a mad man (or woman) when given the choice, would elect to stay in Nigeria! Why want to live in a country that regards you and your people negatively and actively acts out their negativity? |
Have they released the stats for the other airports? |
Ain't it funny that any misdemeanour committed by any politician in the South East, the usual Igbo haters will use it as an excuse to have a go at IPOB or Biafra!? Meanwhile, their wonderful 'one Nigeria', with all the shi't going on...they still want it to continue as normal! Quite funny! ![]() |
Senselin:Precisely! Common cold or earache they go abroad; their child of 6 that should be schooling in the state his father is the governor of to get a good grounding in the values, language and tradition of his people is also schooling abroad! No be say na university education oh, but kindergarten! If the state is conducive as his father claims it is then why isn't his family there with him? |
GMBuhari:But he thought he could 'bribe' the Yoruba over june 12 and the Abiola posthumous honour, so what are you saying? ![]() |
Even though he's the better candidate by a mile, i feel he's on a long thing as they'll deploy all their arsenal to rig him out of contention! You don't criticise the 'lord and master' and think you'd get an easy ride! ![]() |
DrGoodman:I look at the likes of Singapore, Dubai, Taiwan and other Asian Tigers, and i shake my head when i hear people like you cheer on Obiano as 'a performing governor'! Our level of expectations from those we elect to govern us has dropped to abysmal levels! That someone wanted someone else besides Obiano to win the elections in 2017 doesn't make him any less Igbo than you! I personally wanted Chidoka to win. |
asha80:You need to pack it in mate! It's 'theorists' like you that is a big part of the problem we face as a people! Always theorising what Mazi Kanu and IPOB did and didn't do...could and couldn't do! Now Buhari has sent his kinsmen to kidnap and possibly murder Mazi kanu and his parents (the same way they got rid of the likes of Ken Saro-Wiwa, Abiola and his wife Kudirat....people who likewise threatened their hegemony and hustle), the coast is now clear for theorists, apologists and 'one Nigeria' lovers like you and Ohaneze to put your own ideas to the test...ideas that hopefully would see Ndigbo and Alaigbo being placed on an equal footing with the other two major ethnic groups like it was on the day of independence! |
Hehehehe ![]() But these names sound Tiv! The ongoing job of trying to pin the murders on some poor hapless innocent individuals continues apace! The image of the Fulani herdsmen must be laundered by fire or by force! |
I'm sick of all these career politicians that've been on the scene for decades! They are the main reason things remain the same! I heard Sam Amadi once say on a programme on AIT that he will be trying for the Imo gubernatorial ticket under APGA. It's his type we should be trying out now, and not these expired crafty politicians that have mastered the art of stealing and lies! Another person i'd like to see is Eze Onyekpere. |
kettykings:For the first time i'm struggling to try and understand the point you're putting across! ![]() I'd be the last person to sit in the comfort of my home and find fault with Mazi Kanus' modus operandi! If anyone feels they can do a better job then they should take up the gauntlet and show IPOB and Mazi Kanu how it's supposed to be done! Ohaneze that criticised him and IPOB, how far with their own 'alternative plans'? I bet said plans have got the oligarchs up north quaking in their boots! |
Kokolet11:The way i see Senator Abaribe, the man has genuine intentions and shows practical commitment to the Igbo cause! He's also not afraid to say it as it is on the floor of the senate, and has been known to occasionally ruffle the 'establishments' feathers and tell them a few bitter home truths that's seen them howling in protest! ![]() I love the man for standing by Mazi Kanu! |
Afam4eva:Spot on! |
asha80:The crop of politicians and leaders we had pre-war were the best we've ever had! They were pan-Igbo in outlook and visionary! What also helped then was regional/fiscal-federal structure we operated as a country in which each region managed its own resources and remitted 50% to the centre. I'm made to understand they had their own constitutions as well. The one person i'd say let us down was Zik! He was too much of a 'one Nigerian' and this worked in the favour of his contemporaries who were more realistic about the long-term prospects of Nigeria as a nation! Fast forward to today, and Ndigbo have never had it so bad! What we have today masquerading as political elite are greedy, self-serving, unrefined, ill-educated charlatans, who are in some cases propped up by equally compromised god fathers! |
Kokolet11:Brutal! |
SarkinYarki:Oh, so you know they don't want to be a part of Nigeria! And just how have you and yours responded to their agitation? By going into dialogue with them; by granting Umuigbo and others in the east who wish to join them a referendum; by trying to make Nigeria a just and equitable society so as to take the wind out of their sails? Hell no....you responded with bullets, torture, kidnap and murder! |
zionmde:I think he was being sarcastic. |
Ogbuefi2020:Dude, no make me swear for you this early morning! I've just been watching NTA network news on transportation facilities in the 6 geopolitical zones! Was just shaking my head in disbelief at the wickedness of the Buhati admin' and the gullibility of those 'one Nigeria' Igbos in APC! They showed a sexy and clean looking Kaduna airport which they said is now upgraded to int'l status and can take flights from any destination in the world...they were bigging it up big time! We were told by Captain Mohammed Joji that the airport can take Jumbo jets and even the largest aircraft in the world: A380. The Kaduna inland dry port is up and running. I saw containers being handled and they said agents are moving down to Kaduna from Lagos as they said Lagos ports are congested. This is as the Onitsha river port is being taken over by weeds and wild animals! They showed the swanky new Kaduna-Abuja rail line. On Port Harcourt Int'l, i saw work going on in the new terminal...they showed it. This was one of the 5 new terminals started during the Odua tenure...the others being Lagos, Kano, Abuja and Enugu. They said it would be launched in july i think. While they showed ongoing works on the Lagos-Ibadan new rail line, that of the eastern corridor that would include the SE...they said 'discussions are at an advanced stage'! Now coming to the SE what did they show? All they showed was a dilapidated AIIA Enugu....and i could see some ceiling panels missing! They didn't show the new terminal building...all they said was that it's at 65% completion! NTA visited the airport with a tv camera crew, and the new terminal building being the major construction work at the airport wasn't shown...all they said was that work is at 65%! No comment! For AIIA, they also talked of a few other things like the extended runway which they said is 3,000 meters length; runway edge lights illuminated; fire trucks and water overhead water tanks; the car park has been extended; and they said a new aircraft apron is under construction. For this one they showed what looked like a lone hungry looking guy mixing cement with a shovel (no sign of any construction coy whatsoever, never mind one of int'l standard like Julius Berger), with some area having been cemented already...i guess this will be the floor for the snazzy new 'aircraft apron' they talked about....can't wait! What i'm trying to show by narrating what i saw on the network news is that Ndigbo are being taken for fools...being taken for a expensive ride! Remember they've already gotten Abuja and Kano...yet while we were not looking, they sneakily went and upgraded kaduna to int'l status while almost abandoning AIIA Enugu! I'm not sure, but i'd imagine Kaduna is still taking int'l flights that started when they gave the excuse that they wanted to divert int'l flights there b'cos of runway works at Abuja airport! You've got to admire their sneakiness if not anything else! As per your post: you say (almost mockingly) that AIIA Enugu was never in the same class with the four 'major airports' as you put it! These airports are Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt! Enugu airport that existed long before that of Abuja, and which could have grown organically to be one of the busiest in the country if not for the wicked ethno-religious inspired politics we operate in this cursed country! You think AIIA wouldn't have trounced Kano in aircraft and passenger traffic if it had been running int'l services since the 70s like Kano airport has been doing that makes you feel funky!? Even now as we speak, AIIA still only has one int'l airline flying its route (since 2012 when it commenced int'l flight operations), while Kano has up to three....i think! I remember when in 2012 the int'l operations started at AIIA, we were all talking excitedly of which next airline and routes would be added in a few months down the line....and then Buhari appeared on the scene and our fortunes changed for the worse! Like i said, dude no make me swear for you oh! ![]() |
