UncleJudax:Oshiomole had a lot of us fooled with his labour activism! The guy is as materialistic and power hungry as they come! The fact that he's short, ugly and always spoiling for a fight makes his case all the more hilarious! ![]() |
truthfulparrot:For the simple reason that he needs crooked men to help him win the next elections! Tinubu and Oshiomole are remorseless, yet efficient election riggers! ![]() |
If we feature our 'best eleven' as you suggest (even though it would be the best for Nigeria), those gaining from the present status-quo of federal character and quota-system would loose out, and this is why they would spill blood before they allow it happen! |
Ibegtodiffer:Like they care! ![]() |
pol23:That's why when i see him on the news, all smiling and shaking hands with sycophants, i just laugh! That man is pure evil! His first concerns are Islam, the core muslim north and his close circle of friends and relations; then giving a few crumbs to the Yoruba so they can be convinced to vote for him again in 2019; then the Niger Delta (though this one is the more you look the less you see ![]() |
Ogbuefi2020:So you've bought into this their lie that everything in the country should be done on an equal 50-50 basis? I had a feeling they were seething during GEJs tenure at the recognition given AIIA, and the neglect it's getting under this wicked administration now begins to make sense! Enugu was the regional capital of the old eastern region, yes or no? If the answer is yes, then why the fuc/k has its airport been downgraded to 2nd tier below Kano, Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt? On the day of our so called independence, how many regions did we have, and were they split evenly between the north and the south? While you dumb southerners were sleeping (that's if you're actually Igbo), the north has craftily made it the norm...the convention that everything should be shared on a 50-50 basis between the north and the south! And they always end up cheating even further when they put it in the useless constitution that unproductive land mass and population should be a criteria to be considered in the allocation of resources! They even went the extra mile of removing the highest oil and gas producing parts of Igboland and placed them in Rivers State just to 'deal with us' further! Fact of the matter is that the south SHOULD have more int'l gateways than the north b'cos it's the goose that lays the golden egg! The only criteria should be economic viability, and historical/political reasons, not any 50-50 nonsense! Enugu was the capital of the old eastern region at independence, and to now downgrade it to be below that of Lagos, Kano and Port Harcourt is just wickedness! You see how 'one Nigeria' is working against Ndigbo? Anything being done in Alaigbo now has to be watered down because part of the funds would be used to do similar stuff in the north to 'balance things out'! If there's no city or state in the north ready for said project/investment (and since we take 2nd pickings after Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt and Abuja as you're alluding to), then we have to wait our turn like 'obedient slaves'! |
coputa:He's right! Nigeria has overtaken India as the country with the most miserable poor in the world!....Happened just recently under the watch of the Daura despot! ![]() |
CSTR1003:And this is why they don't wanna hear anything 'restructuring', never mind total disintegration! Anything or anyone that threatens their firm grip on power will be neutralised as can be seen in the case of Abiola, Kudirat, Ken Saro-Wiwa and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu respectively! |
DREAMZZZ:And they're healthier options too...packed full of vegetables! |
lovat:Anyone elses mouth watering at the thought of all these delicious Igbo delicacies...or is it just me? ![]() |
Kokolet11:I agree with your hard-hitting sarcasm! Some of us are either blissfully ignorant or pretend not to know that the political-economy of Nigeria is rigged against Umuigbo and Alaigbo, and this would include the aviation sector as well! Why do you think since the coming of Buhari and APC that AIIA Enugu is no more mentioned in the same breath with the airports like Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt like was the case when GEJ was president!? Even this little one AIIA is seeing courtesy of Yar'Adua and GEJ, it's paining some people like hell! It's getting close to a decade now and the new terminal is still an empty shell...almost still at the stage GEJ left it! I wonder if those glass panes damaged in a storm about two years ago have finally been fixed. ![]() |
Money can't buy taste! ![]() |
ariesbull:Hehehehe ![]() Don't blame the president abi? But if it's something positive now, you'd ascribe it to Buharis' magical powers to get things done! ![]() |
All bloody grammar! How come there's no pictorial evidence of what his gov't has done these past three years? Notice how nobody is excited about anything concerning Abia State or its governor anymore? The guy is a big disappointment! The only thing i can say he did was doing up a few roads in Aba. Nothing spectacular! |
TylerDurden:He attended i think once in GEJs regime when they were going to discuss the forthcoming 2015 elections. |
Yyeske:You're asking a daft question? You may just as well ask who gave IPOB freedom of speech and assembly? There's one way to confirm once and for all if IPOB speak for trhe people: conduct a referendum! Even the stay-at-home on the 30th may done last year and this year (no matter what you may think of its level of compliance) indicates IPOB have some level of support! |
hardywaltz:Since when did having 'ego' become a sin punishable by death? Blood has been spilt all because of 'ego' and you don't see a problem with that? Keep on being evasive to the truth just because said truth doesn't serve your selfish purposes! |
nwakibie3:These peoples hate is real! What's the purpose of this 'revelation' if not to give GEJ a bad name and leave Buhari coming out of this smelling of roses! It's just political, childish and wicked! He's talking as if it was him and his families right to get the award given to their father posthumously! So he approached Buhari as well, and he didn't do anything in the first three years, only to do it a few months to a general election, and you think his intentions are noble while GEJ is the devil abi? GEJ was not responsible or in the circle of those responsible for his father and step-mums death! If he's looking for a culprit he should look no further than Buhari! When the election was annulled, at the time what statements did Buhari make on the matter? When MKO was locked up, what did Buhari say at the time on the matter? When his father was murdered, what did Buhari say on the matter? Instead he went and worked for the same man responsible for his fathers death, making him (Buhari) guilty by association! They should enjoy themselves and leave GEJ the fuc/k alone! Anyway, i don't expect any less from Kola Abiola....after all the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! |
shekauvsbuhari:Shut up and support the actualisation of Biafra! Then you'd be rid of them forever. 'Another mans land' indeed! What of another mans oyel that you're leeching on? |
biafranation:Then they're stupid...no offence! |
Jaideyone:So assuming for the sake of argument GEJ did nothing for the south west, you mean you lot had a crystal ball in 2015 to know a Buhari would do more for the south west than GEJ did for them? What exactly did you know about Buhari in 2015 that the rest of the south didn't....or was it just a case of playing hateful, tribal politics b'cos your son was the VP candidate at the time and you felt GEJ was favouring Igbos a bit to much and not keeping to the post-war script of sidelining and humilating them? You come across as being quite fickle, easily led and breathtakingly gullible! Have you asked yourself why your god Buhari didn't accord Abiola this 'honour' in 2015..in 2016...in 2017, and a few months to the 2019 elections he suddenly gets a epiphany and realises Abiola deserves the highest honour in the land and a public holiday to boot!? Dude, get real for chrissakes! You do realise the Lagos-Ibadan job was started during GEJs tenure don't you? What credit do you give him for that? We have a so called 'nation' in which a hateful, murderous despot treats one part with derision and disdain and curries the favour of another part for electoral purposes (basically playing one-against-the-other), and Jaideyone and his ilk don't see a problem with this since he's dealing with the people they hate! At least you can't argue that GEJ favoured the SE unfairly against the SW in infrastructure can you? I believe GEJ could have done more for the south in general, but this inaction was not done out of vindictiveness and hate as is the present case with Buhari vis-a-vis the SE! GEJs problem and mistake was that he wanted to win over the north and in the process we down south got less than we should have! You could argue that Buhari is doing same with trying to please the SW, and i'll say fair enough! But i'll then go on to ask why he's playing one part against the other and why he's favouring the SW over the SE? Could it be b'cos he feels the SE wouldn't vote for him in 2019 and hence they can go screw themselves? I hope you can now see the difference between him and GEJ; GEJ knew the core muslim north didn't like him and were most likely not going to vote for him in 2015, hence he then set out to try and win them over...the vindictive and hateful Buhari is doing the opposite! On the bolded, you couldn't have chosen a better analogy! You've already gotten yourselves a Pharaoh from Egypt that is buying you over with materialistic stuff while having his hands stained in blood! So finally, going by your logic that the Yoruba/SW didn't vote for GEJ in 2015 b'cos he did near fuc'kall for them, we can use same logic to say the SE shouldn't vote for the Pharaoh Buhari b'cos not only has he done fuc'kall for us, but he's even added jara by sending out his fulani soldiers to murder hundreds of Igbo youth! If i hear any Yoruba or Buhari minion trying to convince Ndigbo to vote for Buhari come 2019, not only will i invite you to use you 'logic' on them, but i'll also tear them a massive e-slap for good measure! ![]() Cheers mate! ![]() |
Jaideyone:For you to boldly imply that you'd vote for Buhari in 2019, given all you see happening in Nigeria and all you know about the mans bigotry, vindictiveness, pettiness and hate, it just goes to show how defective your moral compass has become, and how you throw commonsense out the window on the prospects of material gain! GEJ wasn't perfect, neither did he do as much for the SE as he did for say the north! But the fact that Ndigbo were still prepared to vote him in again should give you an idea that their decisions and priorities were not based on materialistic gains....on naira and kobo, like you're implying is the case with the Yoruba/SW! You're implying the Yoruba/SW are prepared to vote even for the devil himself if he gives them token material benefits (while ignoring their hated competition) not minding the purity or otherwise of his intentions! Ndigbo voted for GEJ out of a sense of redressing the decades of power imbalance in the country....decades that has seen the core muslim north unfairly hold on to power the most; they voted for GEJ b'cos they felt the Niger Delta minorities needed to feel they were part of this country...equal stakeholders, and not slaves of the caliphate; they voted for GEJ even though he hadn't done as much for them by way of infrastructure b'cos they believed they would get a fairer deal in his second term; they voted for GEJ b'cos they knew the antecedents of the main opposition candidate, and today everyone can see they have been vindicated; they voted for GEJ b'cos they knew Buhari to be a despotic, nepotistic, vindictive, certificateless and heartless man who had a big question mark on the status of his health! Cheers! ![]() |
BluntBoy:Dude, if by Mazi Kanus' efforts Biafra is actualised, i wouldn't mind the new country being named after him sef, never mind a mere university! All this just points to how much you value MKO! You're free to say MKOs efforts and sacrifice is not up to having UNILAG being named after him, it's the pretence and hypocrisy that one finds annoying! |
Anyone know the names of these SANs? How come there's no mention of who these SANs are? ![]() |
The north (that is core muslim north) are only dominating b'cos we down south are proving too smart for our own good! Show me any southerner supporting Buharis' reelection and i'll show you a smartarsse! |
OreMI22:This issue of the so called Nigeria army taking up prime land in or close to the perimeter of the city centre is something i don't understand! Why do they have to be so close or in the city centre? The 82 division in Enugu is another one....imagine what we could do with all that land if they moved these people to some place else. It could be used for a massive state park for leisure and relaxation! |
Reward for a job well done! Ever wondered why there's been no convictions of any big shot politician until now....3 years after this admin' was sworn into office, and so close to the 2019 elections? It's b'cos they were getting sick and tired of PDP taunting them that they've had no convictions for corruption since being sworn in in 2015, and so they can have something to present to the masses during the forthcoming campaigns! They went for 'dispensable' individuals who they know that if they're convicted and sentenced nothing will happen! They also went for members of their party, just so they can say they're not favouring one and targeting another b'cos of the party they're in! When are they going to convict and sentence Tinubu, Kalu, Timipreye Sylva, Amaechi, etc? Or are they saying these individuals are whiter than white and have no case to answer? These convictions are possibly a precursor to the the big ones: OBJ, Sule Lamido, Shekarau....individuals that had the temerity to challenge the 'lord and master'! The fact these flurry of convictions are coming now, so APC/Buhari can use them for their campaigns just goes to show the level of 'independence' the judiciary has! This level of 'independence' was also evident in how Justice Binta Nyako reversed her earlier pronouncement that IPOB is a legitimate organisation and started acting out Buharis' script as instructed to! |
This is the sole purpose of leaving this topic in the politics section and rushing it to the front page...to sit back and wait for the usual pathetic Igbo haters to come do their thing! They know anything Bianca or Ikemba is bound to draw them out of the sewer! Notice how all the unprovoked abuse on the person of Bianca Ojukwu is left up with glee? But if i respond now, they'll ban me faster than the speed of light! |
madenigga:There's a token Igbo dude included! ![]() |
jahsharon:This is to show you that all these affirmations of love, reverence and respect for Abiola and what he stood for is all opportunistic grandstanding and playing to the gallery! Where else in the world is someone good enough for the highest honour in the land, and good enough for a public holiday taken in his honour, yet he's not good enough to have a university named after him!? Even Awo that hasn't been accorded this much honour by the federal gov't has a university named after him! Your kind rejoicing here that Tinubu and co coerced and cajoled others to reject the naming of UNILAG after MKO....it's either your happy because you really don't think MKO merits the honour or you're happy b'cos you felt it would 'shame' and 'embarrass' GEJ, not minding the fact that MKO merited the honour! Either way, you don't come out of this with your honour and integrity intact so wipe that smirk off your two faces! |
flexyrule:He's giving them close marking! That's why they hate his guts! ![]() |
Adaowerri111:If Okorocha had in Imo the kind of funds (and even challenges) Ambode has in Lagos, by now Owerri would be like Dubai! His major handicap is paucity of funds...and for a oil and gas producing state like Imo is, this just goes to show how the political-economy of this shithole had been rigged in favour of some and against others! I have my issues with Okorocha for the poor quality of most of his projects, but i don't doubt his vision for Owerri if not the entire state! |
