Corruptions is stuctural in Nigeria and i believe it going nowhere until we do the right thing. Our solution is base on real federal system of government in which each States generate and spend what they deserve and same goes for local government and we can know who to blame if there is failure in a particular sector.
The federal government enormous power need to be curtail and most functions transfer to States and local government respectly. It hurt walking along my street back then and i see all road spoiled beyond repair and the local government chairman is helpless cos his allocation is been cut by state government.

Boko haram is not Nigeria fighting Sudan bro. There is still collatera damage on the part of the government and using hi tech weapon as you suggest will wipe out a whole local government with all the people and infastructure. Don't forget the onus of building such places after the war rest on the government with the use of tax payers money.
Am sure the military must have consider lots of things before the use of Alpha jet. Our present economic realities leaves few budget for reconstruction after war and the government must make sure minimal lives and property are destroyed.

I did argue with a friend that most APC manifesto is not realistic even in advance world. Lets take USA for instance, the government pays your food stamps from birth till 18 years and it ends. There is unemployment benefit for those that qualify. Your unemployment benefit depend on your level of income before you become jobless and your social security contribution. Nobody gives you free money. Paying people 5k monthly is not realistic considering the nation finances and paying corp member for a year is another waste of resources. NYSC had outlived it functions and need to be jettison and huge amount of resources will be saved from such avenue and not expending such program. As much as i want change in Nigeria, APC has not given be the need to consider them as change agent.

His attempt at using a bushmeat seller's logic has failed woefully.

Even if we refine the crude oil here, the cost if producing a barrel of oil would still be more than $65 per barrel. Even the average cost of producing the shale which people consider cheaper, is above $70 per barrel. As long as we don't refine crude here, it would take months for us to see reduction in pump prices.

Our greedy oil marketers too will not allow us feel the positive impact even when they start getting oil at reduced prices, they would want to maximise their profit.

Nigeria government should learn from other countries of the world. No state ID in united states carry logos mastercard, visacard or any card. Identity card should also remain identity card without mixing it up.
