naaija: Skitmaker Lord Zeus 101 Shows Off Empty Flight from ASABA to Abuja
There’s currently a trend of empty flights shuttling the country’s airport and commuters have started posting clips of how scanty popular airlines have become during local trips. thereby offering kinda private jet experiences like Zeus mentioned
Business wise, Isn’t it wise to put down flight fares to accommodate more passengers as the demand and supply principle will suggest instead of running empty crafts
Below is a screenshot of a Facebook user who shared same experience with another airline on a different date. She claimed they were just 6 people on the massive plane.
According to Zeus, it costs 250k naira to bird to Abuja from Asaba, but I would think lesser fare would definitely improve patronage.
It depends on the time of day or week. During weekends, there are usually more passengers flying interstate or internationally.
This is why smaller aircraft are the best in terms of economy for mainly domestic flights while the newer fuel-efficient bigger aircraft make more economic sense on international or long-haul flights.
It makes absolutely NO sense burning aviation fuel while flying few passengers on a large aircraft for domestic flights.
dominique: He was born in February (according to Wikipedia), so he turns "42" in a couple of months. He actually looks like someone in his early/mid 40s.
Impressive. You have also affirmed what I typed in my post which states that this fellow is NOT more than 45 years based on his attached photograph on this thread.
guobe: Happy belated birthday to Julius Aghahowa as he turns 41 years old.
Despite the allegations of age reductions by soccer players in Africa, South America, Asia, etc, he (Julius Aghahowa) looks 41 years OR max 45 years to me and he is ageing gracefully... More like old wine in a new bottle. There are buddy's of mine (and folks who I roll with) who are over 45 years and I know full well the age-related greying of hairs on the head and beards become more pronounced over 45 years of age. In the absence of the use of dark-colored hair dyes, this dude is in his early 40s!
OLAADEGBU: She was screaming, 'Stop it already! I'm going to die anyway from what you are doing, just kill me!' recalled witness Yoni Saadon of a woman gang-raped and slaughtered by Hamas on Oct. 7.
I saw the YouTube videos gleaned from CCTV cameras, car dashboard cameras, and mobile phones of how many Israeli women were maltreated through bloodied rapes, sexual assaults, and the violent pulling of their hairs while dragging then along into Gaza! These are pure acts of demarketing of Islam as well by Hamas and their associates (in Iran and elsewhere around the world) with these criminals shouting Allahu Akbar repeatedly while shooting, killing, and raping women. These are sick people and continuous potray their Islamic religion as a worse than Nazi and fascist ideologies.
This is one of the major reasons why I can NEVER emphatize with the criminals called Hamas and the Palestinians who statistics show have up to over 80 percent sympathy for Hamas pre-October 7, 2023.
The Israelis too have a history of not heeding UN resolutions, but for this brutalization through the rapes and sexual assaults on many Israeli women the Hamas criminals MUST face the UN war crimes tribunal if found and face the capital punishments or death penalty. These are worse than Nazi war crimes. Period.
Honoredeblazac: Macron is actually right, but where he is wrong is this. There will be Mali,Niger, Bukina Faso, but they will all be controlled by a Boko Haram or ISWAP government. They will be poor wretched hellholes run by people under whom the Taliban will look like liberals. Sahel people don’t know what they have done
Indeed. You are the one who showed more grasp of international geopolitics right from page 1 of this thread and you're in near-absolute terms correct here. These are my thoughts as well based on my deep knowledge of international relations and diplomacy.
A Somaliarization of those 3 countries would have taken full effect without the French military interventiond, thereby threatening other relatively stable West African countries and fueling the Islamist insurgency and criminal banditry in Northern Nigeria and Cameroon.
This proposed confederacy will be too unwieldy to handle because of their variegated historical ethnicities and and geopolitical differences.
Senegal and Gambia once came together but had to split again into different countries despite both having nearly the same ethnic groups with English and French colonialism being the major differences between the two.
Singapore and Indonesia also used to be together but separated again into different countries. A referendum out to be carried out to know if the folks want confederacy or NOT and not make it a military fiat think which is definitely what these insidious military boys want to do!
abdeefggh: According to Obi of Onitsha, Onitsha people are of edo decent who once settled around Ile Ife but left during crises , while coming back some camped in Edo while some trekked down and stoped in Onitsha.
If you go to Onitsha today, the indigenes there will tell you they are not Igbos but igbos are forcing their identity on these innocent people. Watch the video. https://twitter.com/The__Vyrus/status/1731052961650925856?s=19[/quote]In reality, Onitsha was first inhabited by the Igalas who according to the current Obi of Onitsha in an Ofala day documentary I watched, took his migrant ancestors from the Bini region across the River Niger to their current location.
The Obi said in that 1987 documentary which the Ooni of Ife also attended, that he has Bini, Igala, and Ibo ancestry. Indeed, Onitsha which is called Onitsha Ado N'Idu has 8 quarters for the Igalas, Bini descendants, and Nri migrants from what I read in the advanced history books.
shedy03: Watching into almost half of video, one would notice the YouTuber is biased. Painting Nigeria as Muslim nation, showing national mosque Abuja in the opening and a Lagos mosque later. Not a single church was shown in first half of the video. Balance your show Mr GanoDidIt. Nigeria is not Islamic country, Lagos is not Muslim state.
The majority of Lagos State indigenes are Muslims especially the Ijebu-Yorubas (Ijebus are wholly indigenous to Epe LGA, Ikorodu LGA, Ibeju Lekki LGA, Ajah, etc, spilling right across the Lagos State border into Ijebuland in Ogun State) and the Awori-Yorubas (Aworis are indigenous to 17 out of the 20 LGAs in Lagos State, spilling right across the Lagos border into Ota and other parts of Aworiland in Ogun State) with other indigenes practicing the Yoruba religion [Ifa] and more. Despite all these, there is diversity as well due to the cosmopolitan or international presence of folks from across the West African region and indeed the world in Lagos State.
Even during the 1979 to 1983 two-term democratic experience in Lagos State, Governor Abdulateef Jakande and his Deputy Governor Alhaji Rafiu Jafojo were both Muslims under the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) political platform and both had their hands raised high as the chosen or recognized folks for the gubernatorial contestant by the UPN national leader, Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo, GCFR, SAN in the run up to the 1979 elections.
The summary is that Nigeria is a multilingual, multiethnic, and multireligous country.
Nicheey: How often do you pay tax here compare to America you’re trying to compare. Here you can do online businesses wether crypto or forex without any body disturbing you for tax on your profits but over in America there’s IRS, how much does insulin cost in America compare to nigeria? How much does health care cost compare to America, here we can create our own water source and power source,in America this is illegal, ordinary phone line (landline)is taxed.
Not paying tax is a criminal offence in the U.S. The tax is what the U.S. and Canadian governments use for recurrent and capital expenditure. Bank debts to financial institutions have to be settled as well to avoid embarrassing loan defaults.
erico2k2: Read it again, you must have reasonable evidence to connect the property or asset as a proceed of crime, its same in the UK.U just do not see a person having a private jet and you seize it.you must be able to link it as a proceed of crime! The onus of proof is on the prosecutor not the owner to connect it to crime
You're absolutely correct @erico2k2
I was actually adding more information to my post when your reply or second mention came in. The burden of proof is indeed on the prosecutor who has to have water-tight evidence to seized an asset and have the crime suspect prosecuted in the court of law.
The article below is from India, but it shows that this is a GLOBAL phenomenon or legal power given to the police worldwide. It's a normal operational procedure but some rogues within the Nigerian police abused the process. So, ONLY policemen and police women with body cameras should be mandated to carry out such investigations to prevent extortion of innocent folks.
"Freezing of Bank Accounts by Investigating Authorities: Breaking the ice on the legal position and remedies"
To understand the scope of powers that the investigating authorities possess to freeze a bank account, one needs to dive into the source of the power itself. This source can be traced to Section 102 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (‘CrPC’).
The purpose of Section 102 of the CrPC is to secure the property which has been or suspected to be stolen or which has a direct nexus with the commission of a crime from being ‘disposed of’ or ‘destroyed’. Such a measure of seizing property including freezing of bank accounts ensures that the court is able to get back the property concerned. Section 102 of the CrPC falls under Chapter VII which deals with the ‘Processes to Compel the Production of Things’. The provision states:
Power of police officer to seize certain property—
(1) Any police officer may seize any property which may be alleged or suspected to have been stolen, or which may be found under circumstances which create suspicion of the commission of any offence.
Elxandre: He has denied owning the same Alpha Beta. Tinubu has never claimed any business linked to him, yet he owns a private jet.
Stop this highly defamatory and fake news you're spreading here on an open discussion forum.
There was NEVER anytime President Tinubu denied owning or co-founding AlphaBeta. Everyone that is knowledgeable knows full well that he owns the foremost accounting and auditing firm which helped to revolutionize tax collection from a very paltry sum of less than 1 billion before 1999 to what it is in billions of Naira today to such an extent that former Governor Babatunde Raji-Fasola clearly stated that Lagos State can survive without any Federal allocation. Even non-APC states are currently clients of Alpha Beta as of now.
Last but not least, of course if you are contesting for a major political position, you have to step down as the Executive Director/Chairman etc, of your companies so that your political interests and private company interests do NOT clash. Period.
spiSeyi: You must be part of the indomie generation, firstly PBAT was a Senator before 1999 , and mind you he worked as an auditor general in a multinational oil company (Exon mobile) and he had an auditing firm after he left Exon mobile before becoming a full time poltician, are you telling me that someone of that calibre can't afford 50M an ordinary bank MD will easily boast of that. Did you know BAT was the major distributor of pulp papers used in printing newspaper Nigeria b4 1999 and one of his customers was Concord (MKO's newspaper company). BAT might not be a saint but saying that he can't boast of 50M in the early 90's is absurd. Now tell us how Peter Obi got his money b4 Gen. Sani Abacha made him the chairman of NPA I am not even expecting you to gift anybody 100k because you are a chest beater
The Delta State Police Command has said that Nigerians with suspicious sources of wealth, who cannot lay claim to any justifiable means of income, can be investigated and charged to court.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, stated this, adding that the police are allowed to arrest individuals who could not justify their sources of income and to charge them to court.
Edafe in a post on his social media handle on Sunday said it was a sad trend that people felt it was wrong to question what he called the "suspicious wealth" of Nigerians.
This current Ooni Ogunwisi indeed committed some embarrassing historical blunders of which he should have been guided by his royal advisers. This insightful 2019 letter by HRM, the Olugbo of Ugbo-Ilaje is a reassertion of the existence of Yoruba people even before the rise of Oduduwa dynasty in ancient Ugbomikun (Ife).
“Kabiyesi, Your Majesty, permit me to call out your Director of Media Services, Mr Moses Olafare; the Traditional Guide to Ooni of Ife, Oloye Tajudeen and all others who have a duty to ensure that Kabiyesi Ooni does not live a life, say or do anything that will cast aspersions on the exalted throne he sits upon or undermine the safety or cultural fortunes of Yorubas.”
“Do imagine if the P.A to the CBN Governor does not understand the fundamentals of Forex Differentials, Fiscal and Monetary Policies…What a blunder it could create in the P.As service to the Governor.”
“Kabiyesi Alayeluwa, I will only dwell on fundamental dialectology which studies the evolution of languages.”
“Linguistic historians have theorized that the vocabulary, diction and pronunciation of Ugbo-Ilaje dialect of Yoruba Language bears 90% similarity to the Ikedu, which was the aboriginal language of ancient Ugbomokun (Ife) as ascertained by Professor I. A. Akinjogbin.”
“Linguistic science also affirmed that even present day core Ife dialect has 85% cognitive resemblance to Ugbo-Ilaje dialect. Kabiyesi Oonirinsa, to what percentage is ebuka and ezeokoli similar to Ife dialect or even Yoruba Language.”
“It is rather amusing Your Majesty, that you are not aware that in the book, Encyclopedia of the Yoruba, written by Professor Toyin Falola and Professor Akintunde Akinyemi, the Term or Word ‘Yoruba’ was not in our vocabulary until sometime in the middle of the 19th Century when the European Missionaries and Explorers sought a common name by which many tribes of the same ethnic group who spoke various dialects of the same language could be called.”
“The unifying name they chose to call us was Yoruba. We used to be Ugbomokun in Pre-dynastic times and later Ife, and migrations led to creation of many tribes like Ulaje, Ujebu, Ukale, Ujesha, Ekiti, etc, and generally we were Omo Kaaro Ojiire, confirmable from the works of Professor I.A Akinjogbin, Professor Banji Akintoye, Professor Ishola Olomola, Professor Akin Alao, Professor Olukoya Ogen and many others.”
“Secondly Kabiyesi, at that time, each tribe spoke seperate dialects but the British Missionaries evolved the common Yoruba which we all speak today which began sometime at the middle of the 19th Century. Kabiyesi, according to Professor Sope Oyelaran, different dialects of the same language evolved before the advent of the British and of particular importance is the note that we did not have the letter ‘I’ as a starter for words rather we had the letter ‘U’ in our vocabulary. “
“Kabiyesi Ijesha, Ekiti, Ife, Ilaje, Ikale, Igbomina and many tribes used the letter U. Ujesha, Ulesha, Ufe, Ulaje, Ukale, and Ile, Ilaje, Ikale, Igbomina and many tribes used the letter U. Ujesha, Ulesha, Ufe, Ulaje, Ukale, and Ile (House) was Ule, Isu (Yam)was Usu, Akarigbo was Akarugbo and obviously Igbo that you referred to in the works of Professor I. A. Akinjogbin referred solely to Ugbo.“
“Your Majesty, how could you miss this fundamental point in Yoruba dialect formation and subsequently mislead the entire Yoruba. Eti Ti O Gbo Alo Ko Le Gbo Abo. Kabiyesi, Akeregbe Ti Fo, Omi Inu Re Danu.”
She's right about "uncertainties" that manifest in life... But then, you have to be clearly intentional in whatever you set out to do to MINIMIZE the occurrences of uncertainties which can lead to dire unintended consequences and you'll keep playing the role of a victim over failed engagements, near-failure in Oxford Uni grades, or a failed fashion business at the age of 28, while never learning to grow up or develop emotional intelligence.
I watched the short video and she's well-spoken with a sonorous voice which is good for public speaking. I like the fact that Ifeoluwa (Cuppy) is beginning to show some self-awareness in that video.
maureensylvia: To unlock the global potential of my venture, securing a NAFDAC number became paramount.
This journey was no walk in the park, but it was one I managed to navigate entirely on my own. My journey to obtain a NAFDAC number taught me a lot about the agro-processing industry, and it made me appreciate the hard work and dedication of all the people involved in this industry.
It also gave me a new appreciation for the challenges that entrepreneurs face when trying to bring their products to market.
If you're curious about how I obtained my NAFDAC number, I'm more than willing to share my story; just let me know so I create a thread for it
In a nutshell, my business is no longer limited to raw produce. It now extends to processing agricultural goods, opening up a world of opportunities for those willing to embrace creativity and innovative thinking.
So, if you're looking to explore new horizons and break free from the ordinary, keep an eye on my journey and discover the exciting world of agro-processing.
Together, we'll uncover a realm of possibilities beyond the conventional!
maureensylvia: I’m sharing my journey to help other entrepreneurs who are considering starting their own businesses.
Believe it or not, word of mouth is a formidable force in the world of marketing, and I've personally experienced its incredible impact.
At the beginning of 2023, I embarked on a journey to elevate my business by diving into the realm of food processing. The decision was prompted not only by the growing demand from my loyal clients but also by the prospect of a broader market.
With a resolute spirit, I delved into extensive research and began the arduous but rewarding process of transforming raw produce into high-quality, processed goods.
I took on the challenge of developing my flagship products, both the Brown and White beans, with meticulous care and attention to detail. I was determined to create products that were not only of the highest quality, but also safe and free from impurities.
If Ooni of Ife turns up in benin and Claims the Throne and Kingdom of benin he too is also right
Ok, Let us look at the praise names of oba of benin
One of it is Abieyuwa N'Ovbi Odua N'uhe The son of the wealthy Odua of Uhe(Ife). (Odua of Ife is the same as oduduwa of Ife)
Another of oba of benin's praise names is
Ovbi' Adimila The son of Adimila oduduwa was also known as Olofin Adimula Which was his Title
Notice there is no mention at all of any Ekhalerderhan of Igodomigodo or izoduwa that got lost
They did not mention the Ekhalerderhan and izoduwa too is not happening anywhere in oba of benin's praise names but they called Oduduwa the great Odua of Ife his Father
So with their own mouths they themselves have already given the evidence that fully demolished and destroyed their case which had no legs to stand on in the first place and have confirmed with your own Mouth that the oba of benin was indeed oduduwa's Son There is nothing left to drag because it is settled

Are you sex starved or feeling neglected because wifey is more focused on kids?
A second wife means more bills, more stress and strain. Can you keep up?
🤣🤣 @ XAUBulls is this user right or wrong?
"That's Interesting... You asked two pretty valid questions up there."
First off, how's it going @Klass99? It's been a while. Yup! Indeed, it can lead to "suicide."
But seriously speaking, most men are wired to think of having multiple women [WHO CAN give them near-absolute peace of mind and companionship], because they [men] are visual creatures and they have raging hormones at younger ages [i.e., from below 65 years of age].
Institutionalized laws in some Western countries to regulate polygamy and the state of the economy in traditional societies have curtailed men from having multiple female lovers or wives in their lives.
For some men who have reached a state of mental ascendancy, they just want to be with one woman in a long-term relationship... or even get married to none.
