The Hamas mantra is "from the river to the sea" to the Jews in Israel, but with Biden and the Democrat's open border policies, how long before it comes to America? Many people on the terrorist watch list have already been apprehended at the border, and they suspect many more than that have escaped into the country. So, more than likely, it isn't a matter of if it is a matter of when the mantra will be "from the Atlantic to the Pacific," with terrorist attacks happening on a grander scale than what happened on 9-11
Biden and the Democrats seem to be so blinded by their Globalist Leftist ideology they don't care or can't see the danger.
There are over 7 million American Muslims. The chances of "from the Atlantic to the Pacific" occuring will definitely be on a grander scale than 9-11 now or down the road.
Deep fakes and AI-generated contents will continue to be an albatross for mankind in the years to come except readily available means or tools exist to counter and detect these distortions of history! There are just too many people who believe things without due diligence.
It was indeed a very stupid thing that the criminal members of Hamas did. In any event, a survey indicted that over 70 percent of Gaza residents were in full support of Hamas. *Shrugs*
xynerise: Past experiences can be one of the greatest stories to share and even start an interesting conversation with your friends and lovers. No wonder the best comedians today are the ones who use their past/real life experiences to tell jokes.
Your past experiences could be months, year or decades ago. It all depends on how it taught you a lesson or how it made you laugh out loud or smile each time it flashes on your head.
For me, most of my funny experiences happened as a kid. I could remember when boys act like sissies and girls act like machos. Thanks to puberty that corrected the error
I could remember how I was bullied by a girl ....Calm down, she doesn't look like a girl.
I was about 11 and she was 12. This girl looks masculine. No breasts at all. She has yam legs and huge biceps. -:\
There was a day I decided to act the man I am and face my fears(as my dad always would advised). I met her and challenged her to a fight. I didn't know I made the biggest mistake of my life .
In the afternoon, others came out and they formed a circle and we were both in the circle like a brawl .
Before I could say Jack Robinson, I was lifted high above my enemies and my legs were just swinging like a pendulum. The only thing I could say was "you no go drop me now? Drop me 1..2...3...4". That only got her angrier and the next thing, I was given a De'rica of sand in my mouth.
Well, I fought a good fight though. E no easy to survive such fight. .
Each time I have that flashback, I just smile sheepishly.
The girl is a mother of 5 now
Share yours...
Bump.
LMAO... That cracked me up real hard and made my day! An epic fight it was.
Jewessgratitud3: She's not sexually attached or attracted to you because trust me, if a woman has feelings for you, a small touch will make her wet and ready for you and she won't have that pain.
Secondly, make sure you set the mood right for sex before penetrating her. Not that you'll just jump on her after a stressful day or when she's not in the mood, that place will be very dry and will cause serious pain.
Lastly, make sure to smell fresh and clean before going close cos mouth and armpit odour can we quench a woman's desire.
The first paragraph... That's another major possibility, but then sex hormone differences in you women varies in terms of oxytocin and progesterone secretions. So there could be a deficiency.
Ayodeoba: Hello Nairaland, pls I seek for your opinions about this isssue affecting our marriage life. We re young couple, we just got married. My wife had always been shouting of pain whenever we re having sex, I believe sex is meant to be enjoyed btw two party. Any one with remedies or medication to use. Kindly help
An interesting thread.
A quick tip is to purchase a water-based lubricant from any major pharmacy that's located in a mall or ask your doctor for further recommendations.
Water-based lubricants also enable the spermatozoa to survive longer instead of using petroleum-based lubricants like Vaseline which kills the spermatozoa and prevents a woman from getting pregnant on time.
rentAcock: Paper tigers make the most threats and try too hard to portray themselves as ferocious but it's all a facade. Look at how Russia tricked the world into thinking it is a superpower, yet they cannot defeat small Ukraine. Paper tigers love to hide behind the threats of nuclear weapons, but seriously, with all the mishaps and blunders we've seen from these guys, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that none of their nukes are operational, they might actually annihilate themselves.
That's cracked me up... On a more serious note... those Russian nukes are real. The largest stock of "operational" nukes as you already know are in Russian hands.
WriterrNig: ⚡Venezuela claims Guyana’s Essequibo region, a territory larger than Greece and rich in oil and minerals, as its own and whose future it intends to decide Sunday with a referendum.
The practical and legal implications of the vote, which among other things calls for turning Essequibo into a Venezuelan state, remain unclear, but the referendum has left area residents on edge.
The 61,600-square-mile (159,500-square-kilometer) area accounts for two-thirds of Guyana.
Yet, Venezuela has always considered Essequibo as its own because the region was within its boundaries during the Spanish colonial period, and it has long disputed the border decided by international arbitrators in 1899, when Guyana was still a British colony.
Venezuela’s commitment to pursue the territorial claim has fluctuated over the years. Its interest piqued again in 2015 when ExxonMobil announced it had found oil in commercial quantities off the Essequibo coast.
The disputed boundary was decided by arbitrators from Britain, Russia and the United States. The U.S. represented Venezuela on the panel in part because the Venezuelan government had broken off diplomatic relations with Britain.
Venezuelan officials contend the Americans and Europeans conspired to cheat their country out of the land and argue that a 1966 agreement to resolve the dispute effectively nullified the original arbitration. Guyana, the only English-speaking country in South America, maintains the initial accord is legal and binding and asked the world court in 2018 to rule it as such.
Whoa! A major sequence of events is unfolding in real-time in South America. Hope the sequence of events can be contained to prevent an all out military confrontation between Venezuela and Guyana (which has a large Indian and Pakistani immigrant population that arrived in Guyana from the 1840s as indentured workers to fill a massive shortage in plantation workforce after the abolition of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade in the 1800s).
fergie001: In 2015, Jimmy Carter was diagnosed with brain cancer. In 2019 he broke his hip at age 95. The same year, he fell at home requiring 14 stitches.
He was US President from 1977-1981.

Bump.
Jimmy Carter's wife just passed on. Such an iconic couple... The Carter years in the White House... 1977 to 1981.
The iconic former U.S. President Jimmy Carter is 99 already... That's huge. It's been an odyssey for him. His wife has just ended her earthly life cycle. #Respects
OLAADEGBU: 'HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED': Alan Dershowitz accuses Obama of "encouraging people" to engage in antisemitic attitudes, makes clear why he's never speaking to the former president again. Watch his interview: https://trib.al/HOuIjr4
This is absolute B.S. coming from the Jewish-American fellow Alan Dershowitz. Barak Obama is absolute right here! There is an indeed an EQUAL sense of responsibility on all sides. The Israelis have acted brutally but so also Hamas the criminal terror group who are even worse in terms of brutality in the name of religion. Period.
Other owners of social media platforms have to make a strong move to prevent hate speech, mysoginistic posts, cyberbullying, and fake news from being spread the ethnic bigots and racists as well.
lawani: Lagos population is more than 20 million. Ogun and Oyo together is more than Lagos say 25 million. The rest of the SW will be around 15 million. NC and SS will be around 10 million. Total is at least 70 million in Nigeria. Togo Benin and Ghana will be close to 10 million. So West Africa is at least 80 million Yoruba apart from associated groups who qualify as Yoruba and they will surpass 20 million. Total 100 million in West Africa. Latinized Yoruba in the Americas will be triple that number and they are the real Yorubas practicing the culture but the majority don't speak the language as first language. All the non Yorubas on Yoruba land may be at most ten percent of the population and scattered Yoruba in Nigeria and West Africa are more than them in population. Your estimate of 50 million is very low. For Nigeria, it is those working in Yoruba cities that can be counted. Ditto for other nationalities in Nigeria. If everybody should return to their towns. Eighty percent of urban centers in Nigeria will be Yoruba.
@lawani, Indeed.
Your population projections are quite impressive. I was just being conservative by not stating the population breakdown of Yorubas worldwide like you did.
If you read my last post again, I clearly stated that the Yorubas are OVER 50 million worldwide so, that is in sync with the projected figures you've provided here. The "estimated" population of Yoruba folks in Nigeria as of 2023 is clearly more than 50 million (in the absence of a population census based on an ethnic count) not to even talks of Yorubas and Yoruba descendants in Brazil, Cuba, Venezuela, Sierra Leone, Bekuta and other areas in Jamaica, and more.

The dude could be a non-Muslim Lebanese dude, but if the Arab guy is a Muslim, then she would have to drastically conform to his Islamic faith and conservative Arab culture.
Just to add though, Arabs have always looked down on Black Africans who they regularly use an irresponsible racist word called "abe*d" for because of the Arab slave trade where Africans were used for slave labor and the females were used as sex slaves who then gave birth to mixed children in parts of North Africa, Northern Sudan (after the repeated Arab invasion of the galant Nubians in what is now Sudan 600 years ago), the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
Most of the African women who have or had a semblance of romantic relationship with men from the Arab world did so by having relationships with non-Muslim Arabs from Lebanon especially. I remember the delectable Ms. Yemi Fawaz whose father is Lebanese and mother a Yoruba, then a businesses mogul by the name of Ephraim Faloughi whose father is Lebanese and mother is from Bayelsa, and much more.
On the surface, he is saying the truth... but a sense of urgency is needed to leapfrog Nigeria from a significant underachiever to a global economic superpower by removing all the inefficiencies impeding the leapfrogging into a modern socioeconomic space (within a short timeframe).
Well he made a valid observation. What is far more needed is to remove all the inefficiencies and mediocrity within Nigeria or any other country's socioeconomic and sociopolitical fabric and use that to leapfrog like the Asian Tigers, Japan, and China have done. Period.
Truckpusher: It's not a lame excuse as most of you are insinuating here, though I understand we've made it a habit of not believing our Government because all they is to lie to us year in year out.
I work for an outfit that got more than 20 pieces of Innoson vehicles especially the IVM carrier and IVM granite model . As I'm typing this right now 98% of these vehicles are parked in the workshop with no spare parts to repair minor challenges. Imagine relying on that kind of manufacturer to provide vehicles for your entire fleet , it would become a logistic nightmare and will disrupt operations and to make matters worst the Innoson man himself is just your typical irresponsible Nigerian businessman who's not ready to make any tangible changes All he wants is to be paid without adding value to his vehicles year in year out after all he's fully aware that with the local content policy , we will always come around to patronize his greedy ass.

If not for social media,, that would have been the end of the story.. They would have swept everything under the carpet again.. And the whole nonsense will continue to repeat itself again and again..
IF THE PEOPLE NOW WAKE UP AND CARRY OUT JUNGLE-JUSTICE ON THESE PEOPLE NOW,, A LOT OF PREACHERS WILL COME OUT FROM EVERYWHERE AND BE CONDEMNING JUNGLE-JUSTICE...
YET THE POLICE HAD BEEN DENYING THE CONVENTIONAL LEGAL JUSTICE ALL THESE WHILE, AND ENDANGERING INNOCENT UNPROTECTED HARMLESS PEOPLE'S LIVES.
That's a horrendous act of rape under the influence of the dangerous hard drug called methamphetamine. Rape prosecutions are being trivialized here and I blame woman for not leading a sustainable mass protest to call for chemical castrations and imprisonment with hard labor for these vicious rapes!
From Andrew's "checking out of Nigeria" in the early or mid-1980s to the ongoing "japa" as of 2023... It's been one hell of relentless migrations out of Nigeria for economic and educational reasons.
Whoa! That video of C. Okocha cracked me up... Lol Charles said Portable looks like a "native doctor" and he also said to Portable: "ko ni da fun iya alaya e" towards the end of the video. Damn!
christistruth01: In the 10th Century when the first Owa Obokun of Ilesha fetched from the Lagos Sea Water to cure Oduduwa's blindness there were already Moba Yorubas. In Lagos and he spent 2 months with them The idol Worshippers Olokun diety was actually a Moba King called Seniade that ruled from an Island off the coast of Lagos that has now been Submerged by the Sea. The Moba built the Eredo Wall near Ijebu and their kingdom included many Islands off the Coast of Lagos
They have now been included with the Awori people but we're actually the Original Inhabitants of Lagos and were in Lagos Centuries before Oduduwa was Born
The Oore of Otun Ekiti migrated from Moba in Lagos
Moba is near victims Island and their Crown predates Oduduwa's own
Yorubas forefathers might not have been great at Technology but God Almighty definitely gave them Prodigious History Art and Music All Glory be to God Almighty
Deep insights from history as indicated in the video.
I'd love to visit the Sungbo Eredo walls (earth works) located near Lagos State in Yorubaland in the near future. It reminds me of the great Bini wall as well.
membranus: Because the Igbos tribal enclave, especially the cities, is already over-populated and choky, both for business and living, which makes it unattractive for other tribes to cope with. That's why even the Igbos were leaving the place in droves. Moreover the Igbos have deep seated tribal bias which other tribes find it difficult to tolerate, except the diehards.
pacesetting: Have you been to the SE? Yorubas and Igbos can never be the same. While Yorubas prefer settling within their region, Igbos do not mind traveling far and wide for their business.
How many mansions in the SE do Yorubas own? How many are doing business contributing meaningfully and paying tax?
In Benue were I stay, it's the same thing. Igbos own a lot of properties there. They own the biggest shops and shopping malls there.
But I can't find any Yoruba settlers apart from those ones selling Agbo on the street. That's the reality, but what I find in all of these is, envy is choking many of you.
The earlier you people realize that Igbos are not like any other tribe, the better for everyone.
Let me step into the convo here.
Point of correction. Yorubas who number over 50 million worldwide and are indigenous to North Central and Western Nigeria, Benin Republic, Togo, and also naturalized citizens of Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire are some of the most widely traveled people in Nigeria and on earth.
Are you even aware that there are hundreds of thousands of Yorubas living in, and doing interstate and international business, and engaged in other professions in Northern Nigeria states, Rivers, Cross Rivers, Delta State, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Gambia, South Africa, UK, Canada, USA, France, Germany, Netherlands, UAE, DRC, etc? Yorubas are some of the greatest international travelers on earth for business and leisure purposes with heavy investments. Because Yoruba folks (just like Edos for instance) don't unnessarily brag about their vast travel and business exploits but let actions speak louder than words doesn't mean they don't travel out of their regions! There is a famous market called Makola Market in Accra, Ghana which was founded by Yorubas many decades ago and it was named after Mokola Market in Ibadan.
Surely you are NOT well-informed for saying falsely on a major discussion forum like NL that Yoruba folks don't travel or prefer to stay in their region. Open your eyes wider and do not be so clannish or insular in thinking. Yorubas and Edos used to live in and/or travel a lot for business to the Eastern areas like Abakaliki, Aba, Onitsha, etc, but after the Civil War ended, they shifted to other nearby states like Rivers, Cross Rivers, etc, for safety reasons because of the loss of their investments after non-Ibos were expelled prior to the start of the Nigerian Civil War by the secessionists led by Col. Ojukwu in 1967. A Yoruba trader who wants to engage in trading can always move from Port Harcourt to nearby Aba and drive back home to PH with his or her purchases from Aba. Those living in Asaba can always drive into Onitsha and drive back to Asaba. There are many Yorubas who built houses and mansions in Port Harcourt because they feel much safer there. Period.
DomPerignon: The reason for collapsing all the regional civil services into the federal civil service by an act of decree by Ironsi was because the Sardunna had began purging hangover colonial employed Ibos in the northern civil service.
In the old eastern region, even a lowly clerk position in non Ibo areas of the eastern region administration was reserved for Ibos.
Peter Obi sacked all non Anambra Indigenes from the Anambra state civil service which saw to Abia state respond in kind by sacking all Anambra Indigenes in the Abia state civil service. What they forgot to tell you was that the very few non Ibos in the Anambra civil service were also sacked by Obi.
The Sardunna was right about the Ibo.
At first when I watched that interview the Sardunna granted the BBC where he stated he was going to sack all Ibos in employment with the northern civil service as soon as the British left , I assumed the Sardunna was a bigoted tribalist but events these parts few years have opened my eyes and realized that the Sardunna was more than justified to make such declaration.
