justice12000: Why Can't Sowore And Yoruba Meet 100m bond? Nnanmdi Kanu Met 300m In 24 Hrs. The 300 million bond was certified by IPOB Department of Finance within hours, while other criteria such clergy, a serving senator and others was met by Igbo leaders.
https://www.nairaland.com/3762133/nnamdi-kanus-bail-conditions-jewish Why is it so difficult for you to reason outside of tribalism prism? Ipob was a political tool being used to put pressure on the government and it is not a surprise that a senator who might have other ambitions put up his money for kanu's bail. Why didn't the Igbo billionaires rush to free him? Because they have nothing to gain from his release. Second, Sowore calls for a Nigerian revolution not an hate based secessionist campaign which makes it not a Yoruba struggle. I am assuming you know the difference between a secessionist and a potential revolutionary. Why in the hell are you comparing kanu, the rabid dog of some politicians to Sowore, an independent revolutionary? |

Holywizard: Hello Nairalanders. I'm a young graduate that is into side hustling due to the fact that is no available job yet. My side hustle deals with money transactions on a daily basis and I'm in a market place. I've been observing lately that my money keeps disappearing mysteriously after my daily sales and I'm always careful in my dealing. The truth is that I'm not the only one witnessing this. I've been told to put bitter cola in my bag and it seems not to be stopping it. Please how can I put a stop to this? Don't listen to those blaming spirits. The obvious is mostly right. There are 3 explanations for your problem 1. You don't know how to count money 2. Someone is stealing your money or underpaying you 3. You are too careless with money storage. Solution: Hire a trusted temporary help. Have them recount the money after you for confirmation, then ask them to deposit the money with banks or their agents on your behalf. You will see that no money is "disappearing". After you are convinced. Get an electronic safe. |

No matter how sexxy you dress, nothing will stimulate or move him to have sex with u. As it is, he is playing on both field.. that's why his stuff can raise to accept u when u initiate sex..
Sorry that's who he is, There's nothing you can do about it.. U can either divorce him on grounds of cheating (based on that chat without letting anyone know with whom because u might endanger his life ) or u accept him the way he is.. that's just the cold fact .. It's kinda normal in advanced Countries.. I can just imagine how shocking it was for u It is not normal anywhere in the world to deceive people into marriage. Sure, there is no legal punishment but if it were in an advanced country, she would be in court for divorce already. I suppose she is afraid to leave because of lack of safety nets for divorced wives over here. |

Ugosample: anyone who does not know that marriage is a sham, especially in Africa is fooling himself Education is also a sham to unemployed and unemployable graduates. If not for the societal chains Africans live with in their neck so gleefully many sham marriages would have collapsed tey tey....
It's all for the societal appearances Are you really free since everything you do is dictated by your white masters who can't handle their domestic affairs? Many men in Nigeria have been pushed into a lifetime of misery, fending for an ungrateful wife, and useless in-laws while his mental health is in decline.... The same way many employers have been pushed into hiring bad candidates. What poor employers! Given that it is Nigerian men who seek out and proposed to women, I don't think you are worth engaging much further. many women in Nigeria have been pushed into a lifetime of misery as well, with what they have to suck up to and the heaping of undue responsibility here and there Of course, some women would be pushed into what they don't want Marriage of the last three centuries is a big sham on that note I agree with the OP. Yes. You are a product of the sham even if your parents were not married because they benefited from a society that values marriage. You are just like a nudist who complains about people wearing cloth without understanding the need for clothes in the first place. I have assumed that you are a single guy who is not interested in any relationship now or in the future. But it will be too bad if you happen to be those who have a long-term relationship or even cohabitating where the relationship is run just like married people while claiming not to be married. |

lilwetdick: you are the kid.
There is always pressure for men to marry from family members and society , when a man does not want to marry at his prime, society looks at him as he is not responsible
and also most women will force the man in their life to get marry to them, why is there always the "the talk"
if you have been in a relationship before, you will understand the "the talk"
"the talk" is the speech from women, asking about where the relationship is leading to. You just confirmed my post that you are a kid. And adult should know the difference between a negotiation and use of force. An adult will also know that you cannot use force unless you have leverages such as being physically stronger, well-connected or above-average wealth. You are just like a child who doesn't understand why they told him to look left and right before crossing a busy road but choose to rebel instead. People will always volunteer their opinion if you let them. Should you travel out? Should you further your education? The good news is that they are not forcing you to do anything. You can't claim to be a man and be behaving like a sissy. If your mother tells you to get married, tell her to never mention it again and if your pastor is disturbing you, change your church. It will be a shame if you are still being controlled at your old age(allegedly). Are you really being forced or you are afraid to stand for yourself and choose to become a doormat to other adults who have their own lives? Only you are to blame if you choose the coward way out. This reminds me of some people who are learning different skills instead of proceeding to a tertiary institution. Sure, somebody somewhere is not happy with their decision but they still went ahead with it. They didn't come online to rant about being forced to go to school. I think you should never marry for everyone's sake, we have enough monster husbands already. If you tell your boss that you need a raise and will probably resign if refused. Are you forcing your boss to give you a raise? Of course not, he can fire you on the spot, demote you in anger, hire someone else or give you the damn raise. It doesn't matter why you need the raise or if you deserved it. Imagine the boss now complaining to the shareholders that you forced him to give you a raise? He would be thought of as a fool and incompetent. I now realize that some people can be forced into marriage. Half-wits, imbe ciles and other psychologically underdeveloped humans may not have the means to say No. |

Kapeter: you lied. Marriage isn't hard, Africans made it so with their barbaric reasoning. Many women don't want to leave abusive marriage because the society would look down on them, the youths don't wanna go into marriage not because they can't take care of themselves and their respective wives buh because they can't at the same time take care of extended families of their partners.
Same girls many guys are with right now can easily be married off by them buh they can't not because they can't feed them but because what tradition would request them to bring before they can officially hand over same girls to them, because extended family will never stop coming and then because many of these girls also only want the marriage because they are tired of fending for themselves.
Go to many western word and see how easy marriage is really is. Shed your inferiority complex. Mariage is way harder in the western world, that is why it is gradually dying and their divorce rate ranges from 40 to 70%. The problem I have with many of you JJCs is that you live your lives inside Hollywood or choose to believe in myth as opposed to reality. Even many western men have started going to Asian countries to find traditional women to marry because they can't face the prospect of a "hard" marriage. I am not the one to tell people how to live their life but just because you don't measure up to certain societal standards doesn't give the right to spread lies about it. |

Politics › Re: Sanwo-Olu Says Less than 700,000 people pay taxes in Lagos by Xisnin(m): 1:22pm On Oct 02, 2019 |
wilcox: Your 3rd paragraph contradicts your explanation. What other personal income has a business man? Are you trying to insinuate that after been taxed in his business, he should come and pay tax on his savings from same business.
Please do well to educate me on this because am not getting it. There are 2 class of businessmen, the informal and the formal one with legally-backed company. The informal is the one you are reffering to e,g, a man selling clothes in a shop. For these informal businessmen, they pay something I will call rental tax to the Lagos state government because they don't keep adequate accounts to determine their real income. This means that they are evading tax even if they pay some fees. For the corporate business owners, their businesses are separate from them. They are workers in their own businesses. So, the government is to tax them and their businesses separately. When most businessmen talk about paying tax, they are offering to the rental levy charged by the government or its agent which is not even close to the real tax percent. |
Politics › Re: Sanwo-Olu Says Less than 700,000 people pay taxes in Lagos by Xisnin(m): 12:55pm On Oct 02, 2019 |
Validated: What is difference? Are businesses owners of themselves ot you want a businessman to pay tax on business income snd pay tax on income from his salary? Do businessmen earn other income? wilcox: Mr. How do you disconnect people from business Please? Is it not people that run business? There is a vast difference between people and businesses. The law recognizes the business as separate from its owners in many instance. For salary earners, their tax is paid on income. Some businesses and their owner are the same but even in that case, they do not pay tax on their profit but pay an estimated fee to the government based on shop size and location instead of the required percentage spelt out by the law. Formal business owners are to pay 2 different taxes according to law, one on business and the other on their personal income. Where the confusion is coming from is that some people think arbitrarily taxing a shop covers everything. |
