Mugabe "liberated" Zimbabwe into poverty while Mandela liberated and negotiated a better future for SA where many Zimbabweans now seek economic refuge.
It is obvious that wisdom trumps might.
I see the OP deliberately gloss over the detail of the Lancaster agreement which Mugabe unilaterally undermined. |

tpiander: Why not repatriate the ones without expired passports, while the others renew their travel documents?
These stories need to be straight.
How many have current passports and how many don't?
Even if it's taking them to a nearby country in the meantime, I thought there were standard procedures normally followed in such matters. Do you know anyone who wants to be repatriated? The most likely reason for this postponement might be lack of interest in returning to Nigeria. At least, those I know are not interested in the offer. |

Dpharisee: You Indomie Generation should realise that he was not a typical African dictator, he was a liberation fighter, the same thing you people said about Gaddafi until the same West that destabilized Zimbabwe destroyed Libya. He was a true freedom fighter and the last independent African leader after Gaddafi You are the indomie generation here fed with lies about "strong" dictators. He fought white to become an oppressor himself. Unlike smart Mandela, he thought everything is about grandstanding. His legacy are the millions of Zimbabweans seeking economic refuge in SA(a land shared with whites he so much detests). |

juvewalex: If care is not taken , this may just be the beginning of losses for mtn investors .
Nigeria will lose yes, but mtn will lose most . It will be better for mtn to speak to its home country to provide enabling enviroment for other nationals in South Africa for business and security purposes. Nigeria will not lose. Nigerians will lose and then you start blaming the government and "our leaders" for unemployment. Every action has consequence. That is why I am happy that about 83 criminals were arrested for looting, that will send a strong message to others. |

You protest against the govt, you will be docked. Against the enemies of the state, you will be sent to jail.
Nigerian govt keep fooling themselves. Mr. Moonlander. I never knew that burgling shops, stealing provisions and electronics is a form of protest. In fact, those protesters also attacked commuters stealing phones and laptops. See, the looters are the real enemy of the state and we must make an example of them. |

A contract based on fraud is unenforceable in all civilized country of the world. The UK erred because no evidence of fraud was presented against PID but I am happy that Nigeria has no significant asset in the UK and the UK government is not in the habit of seizing assets of a sovereign state they are not at war with. PID is a fake multimillion-dollar company with neither a website nor work experience.
Danjuma's input will help present PID as a fake company when Nigeria appeals.
Even if those corrupt PID people get any settlement, Danjuma will be waiting to collect it because they stole the idea to defraud the government and they didn't invest a dime in the project. |
