They needed access to the South West, and the greed of just one man (Tinubu) opened the doors to them!!! Even now, he wouldn't speak against their atrocities because of his own ambition!!!

They would have conquered South South and South East too but the people threatened their government!!! They refused to bow to a few corrupt individual!!![/b]
Can you use your brain for once?
Herdsmen have been operating in your lands for centuries
and they are still there operating freely going by my recent traveling.
Some have even become highway kidnappers with nothing done to them.
Instead of finding your way out of the quagmire, you are pretending that your
region is safe.

Is it your leaders' greed that attracted the herdsmen?
Have you been conquered because herdsmen are everywhere in your state?

I won't be surprised if you are one of those migrants who hide abroad and

The funny part is that they will bragging that nothing will happen to them if they like kill a village all they need to do is to escape from the scene as insurance and their company will deal with the rest.

So as a human rights lawyer, what has he done about the plethora of gross human rights abuses of the buhari government aside mouthing off at book launches and TV shows?

Are there no issues currently with the fuel issue he took to the streets for?

Oga, live dirty for Lawma
First, he doesn't owe you anything and you don't pay him a dime.
You don't choose for him what he should do or not do and his records speak for him.
I am assuming you are not one of his clients or a political prisoner.

If someone asked you what you have done about the poverty-stricken people in your community,
what would you say?

The mere existence of people like Falana puts pressure on government excess.

If you want someone to engage the government in a gun duel or go on a rampage in public, then
you should look elsewhere.

the height of your dullness is alarming.
You are the dumb one as I show below

[quoute]
You apparently didn't read the interview, how can a smaller, break away nation declare war on a bigger, more funded adn organised country? does that even make a single sense to you?

Ojukwu declared independence while Gowon declared war, I don't know if it was before Awolowo go to the FG or not. Don't go about embarrassing your lineage.[/quote]A declaration of independence is a declaration of war.
It is the law of consequence according to the Nigeria's constitution.
Nigeria's government owns Nigeria and every part of it.
Any group or individual who attempts secession are thieves who the government
is empowered to crush.
Maybe it is too hard for you to understand but that is just how it is.

SoNature:
This is not logical.
You cannot go into war on assumptions.
Gowon can only say that Ojukwu and Awolowo planned to pull out of Nigeria if nd only if Awolowo was supporting Biafra in secret or in public.
Well, I wasn't there when it happened, but your submission is not logical
It is totally logical.
Wars are largely gambles and all wars are fought on assumptions such weak enemies, trusted ally, mutual protection, enraged opponents,
good weather, sustainable supplies etc.
None of the parties know if any of those assumptions are true before the war.

There is no way Gowon could know Awolowo's mind. Awolowo never declared for the federal government until
the start of the war. Had Gowon being stupid and followed his adviser, the civil war would have been fought in
the west not the east. The east and west would have become conditional allies.
PoliticsRe: Ayo Adebanjo: Ojukwu Betrayed Awolowo With The Civil War by Xisnin(m): 8:34am On Aug 29, 2019
Of course we know.
Ojukwu agreed with Awolowo to pursue negotiation for federalism.
But before Awo could reach his base, Ojukwu had declared war on Nigeria.
Ojukwu's calculation is that the Nigerian government would assume that
Awo was in on the deal and would concentrate the military on the west.

If Ojukwu's calculations were correct, the FG would have declared war on the west first
on the wrong pretext that Awolowo's had declared war by aligning with Ojukwu. Thus, paving
a smooth path for secession since the government would be too busy fighting in the west to even
bother retaking the east.

Unfortunately for Ojukwu, his gambit failed and Gowon refused to declare war on the west even though
most of his advisers pressured him to do so.

""Reasonable people offer and withdraw support based on a person's behavior""

Reasonable people do not give their support to well known n well established tyrants.
They do all the time.
However, fanatics offer unconditional support whether the person is now a terrorist, mad man,
psychotic or plain evil. Fanatism is the common thread to Neo-nazis, Boko haram and Ipob members.
These groups vary widely in ideology, but they are all fanatics ready to destroy everything to achieve their
delusional utopia.

For example, if kanu asks Ipob members to slaughter their parents to
achieve Biafra, they will gladly do it without questioning.

Before you think this is farfetched, remember the Jonestown killings. It only took an instruction
from the "leader" for the followers to end their lives.

Now, who do you think would be a good member of Jone's cult?
A Falana who speaks up when something goes wrong
or the brainwashed Ipob members with absolute loyalty to "director"

all Nigerians.

I look at igbos determination to chart their own course even tho they are landlocked and not having a big city like lagos and i ask myself what is wrong with us yorubas? Why is there no serious independence agitation in our land? We are better positioned than these people to own a VERY progressive country. Is it because of oil? Wat will oil be in a few years with global warming getting more serious? Are we afraid to go to war? With who? If the east, west and south are agitating for independence at the same time, its a walk over. The north cant stop us. Are we afraid to go it alone? Why? The state of the nation has gotten critical enough that its time for the yoruba nation to abandon it. I cant even come back for xmas with all the insecurity in the land now...my God.
You have been brainwashed by the Ipob terrorist group.
No group is more determined than Boko haram in Nigeria, yet I didn't
see you praising their determination to chart their own course.

Since you lack basic economic sense to not realise that global warming is a hoax and has
nothing to do with the oil economy, there is no point engaging you further in your other baseless
