Blue3k2: Your comment and question is stupid and irrelevant. Instead of taking tougher stand on issue the PDP decided to release the bandits and disband civilians defense. Lol you guys are silly.
Yes the bandit menace actually been around longer fyi. You can find incidents before APC. As a measure of addressing the problem, Matawalle said their North-west governors' meeting held in Katsina last week outlawed vigilantes against banditry otherwise known as "Yan Sa Kai". Are you blind to see that it was a North-West governor decision? Why single out the only PDP member? |

lilbest4: Southern Nigeria is at least 70% safer than America. The west is doomed a great depression is looming in the west they're all fuccked Eastern Europe and Asia will take over soon thanks to feminism and other leftist shiits. Their boys are sad, pathetic, ignored completely and viewed as potential rapists. 80% of the boys are raised by bitter single mothers who spend most of their time telling them how shiity men are. In school, they dedicate most of their time to teaching leftist rubbish that add absolute nothing to their country. Their girls are lied to, to pursue "careers" and treat men as disposables, these same girls, get frustrated when they turn 40 and realise they have been lied to along but it is already too late for any serious man to consider them so they go to Facebook and Tinder and get scammed then end up filling their bellies with narcotics and antidepressants or suicide. Their boys, being treated as potential criminals and ignored by society find solace in phonography and video games, when the depression takes over them, they take to the streets and gun people down. The West is Fuccked Too many bullshit to unpack. If you don't even know what the "west" means where do one begin? |

AnanseK: The man pictured below kidnapped three girls in Accra, Ghana, and demanded for ransom of hundreds of millions of GhC (remember: 1GhC = 100 NGN)!
While negotiating for the ransom, he *clearly and boldly* told their loved ones that his name was Buba Muhammad and he is a *"Fulani Herdsman"* from Nigeria! This prompted them to post his name and the girls' pictures on social media as a desperate move while the Ghanaian Police went after him.
He was eventually caught by the Police although, unfortunately, he had, by then, killed all three of them because it was obvious that the ransom wasn't going to be paid!
And, when he was taken into custody, *look at what his passport was reading!*
He couldn't speak one word of Fulani apart from saying the only Fulani town he knows is Jos! Liar. Stop spreading fake news. |

The senator representing Enugu North, Sen. Chukwuka Utazi, has finally distributed constituency projects valued at N117 million to some constituents after the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) recovered the items from him. Confused bloggers. If they recover the items from him, how did he still distribute it? It is funny that the ICPC is nowhere to be found after making so much noise. |

Seeking soft landing for the herdsmen or kidnappers.
1. There is a limit to the amount one can withdraw from the ATM for the day. So, this source is alleging that someone planned a high stake kidnapping, killed their target, abduct the drive and also killed him just to withdraw about 150K from his account.
Isn't that the daftest criminal ever? Why would such a sophisticated criminal risk their lives just to share a meager 150K when they could be millionaires from ransom collection?
2. How did the source know that his account was cleared? Bank staff are not permitted to randomly check customers' account balance. In fact, the source is a prime suspect in the stealing as she has to explain what she was doing snooping around a dead man's bank account. The police should pick her up for questioning.
3. No one knows exactly when the cleric was shot dead since it happened at night, yet, this reporter was making a claim of 25 minutes between the murder and withdrawal without being a witness to the murder.
I was expecting to see the time of money withdrawal but it wasn't provided I guess so as not to mess up the theory.
4. It is very common for old people to send trusted younger ones to help them withdraw money from the ATM so using his pin is no big deal. The police should not be fooled by this revelation to abandon the search for the real killers. There are two crimes here: One is attempted kidnapping and murder while the other is stealing. The murder should be given a priority. |

Addme: You are right that senators don't collect money for their constituency projects but what you left out is that they nominate contractors for every constituency projects they suggest. It's an open secret that these senators or their cronies are the contractors of their projects. For ICPC to have seized/sealed it,they definitely have their evidence.I'm not in anyway in support of ICPC as the details are still sketchy but don't make it look and sound as if these senators don't have their ways around their constituency projects. They nominate contractors. The keyword is "nominate". It is not compulsory that the ministry award the contracts to senator's nominee and other firms can bid like a normal contract. In this case, the project has been implemented regardless of who nominated the contractor because the items were purchased. The only way ICPC can redeem itself is by providing evidence that the senator was using the items or selling them. I am not in any way defending the overpaid and mostly incompetent senators but I can recognize a flawed procedure when I see one. |

Lordave: He can easily win this case, but he will live a miserable life if the money used in acquiring those items were for Constituency projects As with all constituency projects, senators are never paid for it. Federal ministeries are in charge of awarding contracts and payment. The senators only role is to distribute them. I am sure the items will be distributed soon. |
Politics › Re: ICPC Seizes N117M Items From Senator Utazi Chukwuka In Enugu (Photos) by Xisnin(m): 1:53am On Aug 05, 2019 |
maasoap: Of course, the time matters a lot. In the case of the senator, it is just a matter of time before he receives another fund again for the next constituency projects, may be he has received it already. Those items are not meant to rot there, they're meant to be distributed. I'm even surprised that you didn't see that. ICPC hasn't distributed it and they didn't claim that it is their job either. But one thing is sure, they are items bought with the FG money and people are the beneficiaries. If the senator refused to give it to the beneficiaries, the owner of the fund would help him. Concerning the stoves, most of it will have damaged by now, that's crime my friend. That's waste of resources Contrary to popular belief, Senators are never paid a dime as constituency projects. They merely suggest what their constituents need and the appropriate federal ministry controls contract award and implementation. A crime is not what you think it is, otherwise, any politician who has awarded a failed/uncompleted project will be in jail and that is all of them. What has the ICPC achieved by seizing these items? They can not even charge him for any crime. The equivalent of what they have done is like seizing a nearly completed road project because it is not yet completed. These items will eventually be distributed by the senator while the ICPC licks its wound. |

maasoap: You think ICPC and those who blew the whistle didn't know better? You will be shocked if you hear the time those items might have been there! Jonathan’s Eco stoves are still rotting away in the "store" of national stadium, Abuja It doesn't matter how long they have been there. ICPC job is to catch public thieves, fraudsters and economic saboteurs not to help politicians distribute gift items. As long as he wasn't using the item, he is committed no crime and can even sue for harassment. It is good you mentioned Jonathan's Eco stoves, no crime was committed in that case too since the stoves weren't stolen for personal use. |
