Tareq1105:You don't know anything and you can't even ask. |
Fourwinds:What is the professional requirement for Iyaloja? |
Frestuffng:Don't use the women in your family as a yardstick for others. There is more to life than how you were raised. |
tnerro1:Coroners and pathologists are specialists, they are not just doctors. |
From the video, that boy has mental health problems. He was acting very disturbed. |
okay |
whatalife:The press release is very short so I am surprised you didn't read it and choose to insert your own narration. I will quote some relevant section from Oyinlola's statement for you and others who didn't read One of Akande’s own appointees confessed collecting money from this contractor for Akande’s re-election. But the project consultant shocked everyone with his claim that part of the payment was taken back to finance the 2003 re-election bid of Chief AkandeThese two statements clearly shows that the accused were narrating an event that happened before the election. Nowhere did he accuse Akande of collecting money nor back dating any contract. Let us assume you are right and they backdated contract. Did they also go back in time to collect money for the reelection they already lost? Oyinlola even freed all those who collected money despite the fact that they are his political opponents. What does that tell you? |
But the project consultant shocked everyone with his claim that part of the payment was taken back to finance the 2003 re-election bid of Chief Akande I found it strange that Chief Akande who boasted that he was prudent and honest as Governor, awarded the construction of a Government House in his last days in office, after he lost the election, and in advance, paid the contractors the entire contract sum of N800millionThis Oyinlola is full of contradictions. How can Akande award a contract after he lost reelection to finance the same reelection? |
femi4:Your school could have been better invested elsewhere. Despite all your parent's labor, you still don't know the meaning of false claims which is about defrauding victims. |
generalwo:So if you are a parent of Sylvester, you would have killed the alleged 5 suspects? The earlier you realise that you owe no power over your fellow citizens, the better for the society as a whole. |
Jostoman:She needs to prove nothing! The constitution protects Nigerians from being asked to prove anything, that is the job of the police. Wasn't SARS also arresting people to prove their innocence which is illegal? When was the law passed that a person has to prove whatever they say? If you think you have a case, you sue in court and not use the police to intimidate someone who says what you don't like. It is funny you were on another thread opposing similar police intimidation tactics. |
generalwo:This is not different from DSS "inviting" people with the aim of intimidating them into silence or a big man using his influence to lock up an adversary. Nowhere in the civilized world do police interfere in a civil case of speech. Falana is promoting illegality just to satisfy his paying client and I am ashamed on his behalf. I read the petition and couldn't find a single crime he accused Kemi of. I see nothing wrong if her statement is taken to aid the investigationOf course, you don't see anything wrong until you are personally affected. You all love police harassment if it against the right person while pretending you don't. |
It seems the constitution doesn't matter to Falana when money is involved! The same people who solicit foreign donations in order to fight against police harassment are pressuring police to harass and intimidate a person who has committed no crime. SMH. |

lexy2014:A distant relative recently died from malaria despite getting the "full" treatment from a teaching hospital. |
jaxxy:Are you pained that not all countries go on their knees when challenged by the US? US has always been a strategic with China until they refused to understand how dialogue works.I am not sure you know what you are talking about. |
WibusJaga:I think we should do away with this poor-rich divide in this particular case. The parents of the victims are not poor. At least those from Delta state would know Senior Oroboni who is an official of the state with powerful political connections. They will do anything & everything in their power to cover up the dastardly act & save their kids from prosecution. It is expected that parents will protect their kids. But that will be irrelevant as long as the proper investigation is done to gather concrete evidence. The parents of the accused can afford good lawyers so hearsay and circumstantial evidence will not count. |
GboyegaD:Lying is generally not a crime. It could be in narrow circumstances if it involves impeding an officer of the law in the course of an investigation. Press releases, social media posts do not count. I think you are still mixing up public opinion and real legal responsibility. The right question to ask is what specific Nigerian laws have been broken by the school so far? |
GboyegaD:Sorry, such a charge will not stick. The school did not shield the student because there is currently no arrest warrant for them. You are probably mixing up public opinion and the legal system. If a warrant comes up, then anyone hiding the kids can be charged as well. Anything short of collusion between the accused and the school will not stick but that doesn't stop the parents from starting a civil suit. |
If the story of this beating is true, it is more like a cult initiation rite. Well, the cause of death should be investigated |
The cloth doesn't match. The watch could be any brand. |
mrvitalis:I think comprehension is the problem here if you actually read the link you posted. Even the headline "claim ignorance" doesn't support you. The PRO of the EFCC, Ibadan office, Tokunbo Odebiyi, simply said, “I have no information about the operation. I’m not aware of any invasion of any hotel in Abeokuta.”The first spokesman said he has no information of an "invasion". The second claimed he was not aware. Both statements can be 100 percent correct at the time as spokesmen are not part of the enforcement team. They are only briefed much later. These men's answers simply translate into "I don't know". Denial is a statement that It didn't happen. If someone at work asked whether your kids has returned from school and you respond you are not aware. Does that mean you are denying they have returned? |
mainman7:I asked a simple question and you replied with this incoherent statement. Why are you sad that you are being restricted from visiting the land of the devils? Shouldn't that be a call for celebration? Poverty is a thing of the Mind. My People, please don't sell your Eternal Soul for anything!!! Gnashing of teeth await those trapped! If you believe this, you would not be defrauding people. You will be contented with whatever you can honestly earn. |
mrvitalis:Any official link for the denial? |
ebufa:Why would you want to travel to those satanic countries? Stay back and enjoy your freedom be happy that travel restrictions are put in place. |
Let us see if it will have any effect. |
BigSarah:What nonsense! Are you his partner in crime? How many have you killed together so far? |
Another freedom fighter bites the dust. |
olaxm:The government can only act after a crime has been committed. I remembered how MMM increased in popularity immediately after the government started warning investors. |
DubaiLandLord2:They don't. Football club is a business and the government has no business investing public money on fruitless endeavors. The private ones, not the ones been control by the government.Businesses that aren't profitable should be shut down by the owner. Moreover, when Newcastle united started, they didn't have fancy stadiums and the owners were willing to risk their money for what they love. The government should stop wasting money on private people's projects. |
Mide1data:Clubs are under no obligation to make money as long as their owners are fine with it. Do you think the government woke up one day and said let us fund Newcastle UTD? That is old private money at work. Now compare that to liability clubs being funded by various state governments. Late salaries, interference, and fund diversion is the order of the day. or by someone.Don't hide the real story next time. Clubs are funded by private money from individual or groups. Government isn't into the business of funding businesses except in an emergency to prevent catastrophic economic failure. Though I know where you are coming from as a Nigerian. Everything is about seeking government help in our country. Even provision store owners also want the government which is often struggling itself to fund them. See where the entitlement and lazy attitude has gotten us? |
