The immune system is why you could leave your home and return sound.

There are currently no home test as the average person cannot collect the sample needed nor interpret
the result.

There are barely-trained medical personnel conducting tests but the major issue is the unreliability of the test kit.
One can argue that such measures are net positive since finding a positive case will
help stop that particular disease line.

A policy to mandate a second test after 2 weeks at a different facility while
enforcing quarantine and lockdown will help.

A true home test like a pregnancy test kit will be easy to perform and highly effective in combating the spread.
