I very much understand your point. I'm just trying to say that privatisation in a corrupt country like ours where even the rule of law is skewed may not change much in my opinion. You talked about capable business men up there, hmmmnnnnn. Most of our national assets are actually being auctioned off to incapable politicians and wannabe businessmen who are their cronies. The privatisation is not reflecting as much as it should.

But if it is properly privatized (not that rubish that Goodluck did where he sold parts of Nepa to his cronies). It will lead to economic boom. I can see more modular refineries being built once Dangote proves this venture can be profitable.

Privatisation in Nigeria! I laugh. Who are those who will purchase the assets? Are they all not government cronies and the corrupt folks we already know? Corruption will just fester. You are trusting too much in this Dangote's refinery, wait until we see its positive impact on the economy and the populace. Dangote built his refinery to make money, not necessarily to better the life of Nigerians. He's a businessman, he's not government.

I believe you! The phrase "before the end of July, in the beginning of August" in his statement speaks volume. It reeks of uncertainty and deception. What is the correlation between before July ends and the beginning of August? Man is trying to hide the truth.

It is very easy to argue against what KOK is saying and it is also very easy to justify others suddenly waking up to go for the record until you are at the receiving end of such treatment.
Most of them arguing here against Hilda will not even tolerate such competition at work one bit. They will visit one corner for one "jazz" or the other. People that can't tolerate their colleague outshining or outdoing them are suddenly touting themselves as "objective Africans".

Well said. I was wondering if our Constitution contains something like the office of the president-elect such that a man not yet sworn in as the president can then claim to go on a work visit.

This is something to be really concerned about, and it is glaring for almost everyone to see. There is a big difference between trained teachers and those wannabe teachers that are mostly in our schools now. I don't blame them though, if as a graduate the only employment opportunity available is teaching, what else can you do?

4. Jesus Christ said, "Seek first the Kingdom of God(Holiness aka sinlessness) and God's righteousness, and then all these things shall be added onto you". He also commanded, "Be ye Holy even as your Father in Heaven is Holy." Surely, eradication of sin aka holiness is a goal in the Kingdom of God that needs to be met since the one who owns the kingdom commands it. Do you oppose the Will of Jesus Christ, the King, and ruler in the Kingdom of God?

Even government in Nigeria does not obey the law. I thought the Saraki assembly passed into law that UTME results will be valid for three years. How come that is not the case? Every year,students have to rewrite even if they passed the previous year.

I still don't know how a country that has no steady power supply wants to start doing everything online. I know students who "failed" the post-UTME of a federal university because the IT system suddenly shut down at the commencement of the exam. Shame!

My only question is this: since something similar to this was done in the power sector, have we recorded any tangible progress in the power sector? The only progress I have seen is increase in energy bill with no increase in power supply.

With those parasites sucking the country still out there, the subsidy money might be used for very little to nothing apart from being stolen.

The election was inconclusive according to the electoral act. Total number of void votes was more than the number of votes separating DA from LA. Wondering if the Returning Officer was not familiar with the electoral act before going on to declare a winner.

This season, ETH won Manchester City, Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal at home and drew Chelsea away. Could Mourinho achieve that?

Just as it is too early to praise ETH in your world, it also to early to condemn him

4-0 loss to Chelsea by Mou is not more ridiculous than ETH's 6-3 loss to City. See, it is not about the scoreline. It is about the traditional rivalry. United fans even today will rather Utd lose to Chelsea than to City, just as they'll prefer Utd lose to Chelsea than to Liverpool. There are levels to the rivalry. City are not called "noisy neighbours" for nothing. Liverpool lost to Villa heavily, their fans were hurt, but not as much as if they had lost to United.

Anyways, Mourinho never lost 7-0 to any team as Utd coach. Lastly, I did not condemn ETH, I only said let him match up with Mou's achievement first. Trophies are what count and so far, he has just one.

Smiles, even at that, ETH is yet to achieve what Mou did! So, how many points has ETH gotten against the teams you listed up there this season? Lost to City ridiculously. Lost to Liverpool ridiculously (oh and that was a record for united since 1932 or so), lost one leg to arsenal. So what's left? 9 points so far I think.

Lastly, the fact that Mourinho didn't do well in the league in his first season and ETH seems to be doing well does not mean that ETH will end up better. Let's give it time. One day, his reign will be over and we can then assess them.

Those governors saying the old notes remain legal tender are playing a game with their citizens. By making such pronouncement, the citizens are confused about whose order to obey which will in turn make them open to accepting the old notes as inducements during the elections, only to realise afterwards that the presidential directive stands. By then, they can only curse their luck.

In short, the governors are merely creating a ground to deceive the citizens just so they are able to buy votes with the old notes. Inability to later spend the money will be the headache of the people, not the governors.

Atiku has this election, I reckon.

If he didn't mention lecturers in her post, then it is very easy to turn the statement around. She can just say she offered herself to fellow students who tutored her to passing her courses.
She can only be nailed if she actually said she offered herself to lecturers.
