Publicity stunt, after seeing the video of those US cops giving out hundred dollar bills to motorists. Nice gesture by the way, but it would be even better if they are truly upholding the law and protecting citizens, rather than harass them. That would have been a far better gesture.

I don't know about any other person but there are questions begging for answers here. I suspect a foul play. What caused the fire? How come no staff made any effort to curtail the fire? The Nigerian Fire Service are known for being unreliable but if I know how they work they always show up, albeit late. So how come they never showed up at all? More so, this incident happened during the day, not at night. Questions! I have not seen any of the above questions addressed in any report of this incident that I have read so far.

It does not look like normal fire to me. Something's fishy, it seems. To even think this happened in Abuja of all places and the incident was already on social media while the mall was still burning. I don't think I can be convinced that there's no foul play here. Fingers crossed for more details.

Beloved, Grace is the gospel and every addition to Grace is a lie. Let no man deceive you that you still had some worth in yourself through messages that make you feel that you have some good in yourself. No, you do not apart from Christ.

I am sure many like me would have thought the statement is a proverb (a Yoruba proverb at that) because it is often used by parents to chastise and correct their children in terms of the kind of friends they are expected to keep.
I am sure many believers still have that notion about the statement till today. Many think the statement is about having good friends and keeping off bad ones, or specifically in this case, keeping company with so-called righteous people, while we keep of those who appear to be sinners. It is pathetic that a beautiful doctrinal and gracious statement that we have in 1 Corinthians 15:33 has been reduced to nothing but a mere moral and legalistic principle to be misquoted and misused by almost all and sundry.
What does 1 Corinthians 15:33 really mean? If it is an injunction about associating with good people and keeping off the bad, how come Jesus was mostly found hanging out with publicans and sinners?

[2]And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

In legalism, the Bible seem to often contradict itself but in Grace, all is plain and clear. Take a text out of its context and what you will be left with is deception. From the verses above, we could see that the issue was that of resurrection of the dead. Some in the Corinthians church were peddling the belief that there is no resurrection of the dead. This erroneous doctrine was what the Apostle was correcting that made him say that evil communication corrupts good manners. More so, it is highlighted in verse 34 that those peddling those erroneous belief do not have the knowledge of God. Who is the knowledge of God? Jesus Christ who is Grace. That's why Peter says in 2 Peter 1:2
[2]Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
Beloved saints, evil communication corrupts good manners is not an injunction to start discriminating against each other for our imperfect behaviours. Absolutely none of us have it all together. Jesus Christ in His incarnation befriended sinners, to the displeasure of the Pharisees and none of His disciples had the model/perfect behaviour.
Evil communication corrupts good manner is an admonition to beware of those who are bereft of the knowledge of God that is Grace. It is strictly a doctrinal affair, not a behavioural segregation admonition. The communication termed evil by the Apostle is that which is devoid of the knowledge of God that is His Grace. The word translated "communication" there is "homilia" which also means companionship. In other words, company with legalism and you are definitely going to become corrupt.
The Grace of God is good manners. Anything other than Grace only is bad manners.

The big deal is not our failure, but our faith (reposing in Christ) not failing. His love for us accommodates failure very well, in fact he opens wide His arms of love to welcome and embrace so-called failure just as the Father of the lost son did. Luke 15:11-32. Failures are never celebrated anywhere else except in the Father's house. His love still receives failure. A man can go out and mess up everything intentionally or unintentionally and he will still be received with so much pomp and fanfare as the father did for the lost son, after all the lost son was intentional in his wrongdoing. Does that mean He wants us to fail or that we should go out and screw up just anyhow? Far from the truth. Knowing His love as unconditional actually spurs us on to success. The point here is that even if we fail, His faithfulness in loving us yet abides. The only thing that matters is the faith of Christ Jesus that we have still standing. Does that then mean that even the faith by which we stand is our responsibility? No! Remember it was Jesus Christ that took responsibility for Peter's faith not to fail. It was not Peter that strived so hard for his faith not to fail. This brings us to one of the deceptions of modern day Pentecostalism that we are responsible for our faith. That is so far from the truth. Our faith is a gift of God and the sustenance of our faith is equally a gift and responsibility of God. Jesus was the source of Peter's faith and He also was the One who sustained it by praying for Peter's faith not to fail. Let us consider this scripture about our loving God.
Isaiah 42:3
[3]A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
A reed in ancient Israel is used for making music. It is the stem of a plant. When the reed becomes bruised, the normal practice was to throw it away and get another one. A bruised reed cannot be used for making music any more. In the verse above, we see that Jesus will not break a bruised reed. In other words, Jesus will never abandon even if we seem battered and bruised and have lost our song. Perhaps I should also mention that the usefulness of a reed is the making of music. So when a reed is bruised, it has lost its usefulness. Yet the word tells us that Jesus Christ will not discard a bruised (useless) reed. God does not love us because we are useful to Him. He will never despise or forsake even if we seem to become useless like the bruised reed. Amen.
The smoking flax He shall not quench means what? A smoking flax refers to a wick that is no longer burning as it should. Many of us are familiar with those local lamps that use wick. When the lamp is going out, the wick begins to produce smoke and to burn dimly. Our natural reaction is always to snuff it out. Here the Bible tells us that our Saviour will not extinguish or quench even a smoking flax. When we seem to be losing our shine and we seem to be burning dimly, Christ will never extinguish us or get rid of us.
Rather what will He do? According to the above verse, He shall bring forth judgment unto truth. Judgment above does not refer to an unfavourable verdict, but His good opinion of us. The word truth above is from the Hebrew "emeth" which means faithfulness or firmness or steadfastness. In other words, Christ shows Himself faithful and delivers a favourable verdict concerning us, even when we seem to be losing it. He delivers a faithful verdict concerning us. So much for religion that wants us to believe that God is merely in love with us as much as we are useful to Him. This heresy is being propagated as discovery of purpose in the church today. The message of finding your purpose is one big religious stick for goading the flock into legalism. Many have been deceived into believing that God rates or rank them according to how well they are doing in fulfilling His purpose for their lives. God has the same purpose for all of us and that purpose is a person, even Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 1:9
[9]Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
Bruised as a reed? He will not break you. Smoking and dimly burning as a flax? He will not quench. The lost son was embraced by the father with widely opened arms. The love of God embraces all, black or white, success or failure and strong or weak.

How do you think your mum will feel if she knows that your wife is always aware of whatever you send to her?

How will you feel if you ask one of your siblings for money and he tells you he needs to inform his wife firstly?

There is no one size fits all principle here though. Whatever works for each couple. I know couples who send money to their parents without keeping each other in the dark.

When we think of love, what comes to our minds? The frail love of man which approves of us when we do well and disapproves of us when we fail or the unflinching love of God that is never moved come what may? It is not uncommon for us to think of the love of God as fickle, after all that is what we are used to from humans. They love us when we do well and draw back from us when we fail. See God's love as the same and you might spend your whole life on the treadmill of performance trying so hard to please Him.
God loves you when you do good but hates you when you do bad. Really? The love of God for us does not derive from us or what we do or do not do. His love for us derives solely from Him. It is His sole intention to love us. God's love for us gives room for both failure and success and His love will never discriminate against us for either of the two.
Have you noticed that Jesus did not pray for Peter not to fail (not to deny Him) or for Judas not to betray Him? He only prayed for Peter's faith of Him (trust in Him) not to fail.
Luke 22:31-32
[31]And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
[32]But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Did Peter fail? Yes, he did, but his faith remained in place. What kind of Saviour does this? What kind of Saviour has the foreknowledge of a man's failure (even that of offending Him) yet He chose to only pray for the man's faith not to fail and not for the man himself not to fail? Only a Saviour who loves unconditionally in failure and in success does that. His name is no other than Jesus Christ. Christ did not kill Judas, Judas killed himself, he could have received forgiveness too, after all Jesus died for the sins of all, not excluding Judas. We do not stand in Christ by what we do or do not do, but by the faith of Him.
2 Corinthians 1:24
[24]Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
As Dr. Paul Ellis would say, "you are not free to succeed until you are free to fail." God's love for us covers both. Our trust in His unconditional love for us is all that matters. While Peter (just as many of us) was focused on being there for Jesus Christ and not failing, Christ was only focused on Peter's faith in Him not failing. That speaks volume about what really matters.
Right believing precedes right living and it is right believing that produces right living.

ROMANS 6:1-SHALL WE CONTINUE IN SIN THAT GRACE MAY ABOUND? (2)

The question "shall we continue in sin that Grace may abound?" is one that is well known by almost all believers. If the preaching and the teaching of the gospel of the unfettered Grace of God is going to be attacked in any way, this question is more often than not used. It is often taken for granted that the question is about acts of sin or deeds of sin, but is that what the question really is about?
The question "shall we continue in sin that Grace may abound?" does not actually refer to the acts or actions of sinning. It is not the same as "shall we continue sinning/shall we continue to commit sins?" The phrase actually refers to abiding in sin (sin being a noun here).
Romans 6:1-2
[1]What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
[2]God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Notice that the discourse stemmed from Romans chapter 5 and Paul made us to understand that man came into sin by Adam's sin.
Romans 5:12,14,19
[12]Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
[14]Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
[19]For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

So the question "shall we continue in sin that Grace may abound?" refers to persevering in Adam even as the Greek word epimeno translated as "shall we continue" is best explained or rendered. The Greek word means "staying over, tarrying and persevering".
Let us consider Paul's response to the question so that we can further establish that the question is not that of committing acts of sin. Paul's response is that God forbid (it can never be). Why? We left fallen Adam (sin) already and are now in Christ (righteousness). We cannot go back into Adam, so we cannot continue in sin. More so, sin here is a noun, not a verb (in both verses 1 and 2 of Romans 6 and even in most of the rest of the chapter).
Consider Paul's response in verse 2 again. We are dead to sin and cannot live any longer in it. Was Paul talking about actions here? Definitely not! It is not acts of sin that we are dead to and that we cannot live in any more. It is sin as a principle/subject-matter itself that we are dead to. Scripture is replete with proofs that a believer can still commit acts of sin.
1 John 2:1
[1]My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
We cannot continue in sin, not because we will not still fall short here and there committing acts of sin, but because Christ is risen for our justification and we are no longer in our sins because of His resurrection.
1 Corinthians 15:17
[17]And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
The evidence or proof that we are no longer in our sins and cannot continue in sin is the resurrection of Jesus Christ, not our puny ability to grit our teeth and say we will not commit sin.
Let us look at this analogy to better understand it. If a man relocates from China to Canada, he ceases to live in China. The fact that he is now in Canada does not mean that he loses his capacity to act like a Chinese out there in Canada. On another note, the fact that he acts like a Chinese out there in Canada does not now mean that he is not presently in Canada but in China. Do you see that? As long as the man is in Canada, though he might act like a Chinese for a while but at one point or the other he will consciously or unconsciously start imbibing the Canadian way of life into his life.
"Shall we continue in sin that Grace may abound?" is not a question of actions, but of where a man is, in Adam or in Christ. If it is to be of actions, then the Bible is contradictory and propagates falsehood. More so, that will make the writing of the Apostle Paul inconsistent, for how would he pose a question about acts of sin and go ahead to answer it in terms of sin as a principle or subject-matter?
The gospel is not contradictory, neither is Christ. It is only misunderstood, no thanks to our often manifested spiritual dyslexia.

ROMANS 6:1- SHALL WE CONTINUE IN SIN THAT GRACE MAY ABOUND?

The phrase "shall we continue in sin that Grace may abound?" is one that is known by almost every believer, most especially by those who loathe the Grace of God and cannot wait to cast aspersion at those who preach and teach Grace in His holy form and those who live therein. Quite a number of teachers and preachers have assayed to explain this rhetorical question and what the Apostle Paul meant by it. Nonetheless, I believe it is one that needs a closer look again. It is unprofitable to attempt to understand scriptures with sin consciousness at the back of one's mind. Any attempt to explain the scripture with the fear of sin or licentiousness at the back of our minds will never lead us to the truth. I should also add that if we teach and receive Grace with the aim of combating sin, and not with the original intent of Grace which is God's love, then we have missed the point of Grace.
Let me say that the major reason for which God has given us Grace is because He loves us. God did not send Jesus (Grace) so that we can get our acts together and get our acts right. John 3:16 is clear enough.
John 3:16
[16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God did not even put our acts into perspective right here. He is completely about saving us, not about modifying our behaviours. Jesus Christ Himself is the speaker in John chapter 3. He made no mention of our acts even in the verses that preceded and followed verse 16.
John 3:14-21
[14]And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
[15]That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
[16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17]For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
[18]He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
[19]And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
[20]For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
[21]But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
This is Jesus Christ Himself espousing Grace to us. He made no mention of sin or our failings. It is all about Him saving us from start to finish.
Eternal life consists in knowing God as gracious and loving and abiding in relationship/fellowship with Him.
John 17:3
[3]And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Eternal life is not about modification of behaviours. It is all about becoming one with God. When we seek to know God as revealed in His Grace, even the Lord Jesus Christ, with getting rid of sin as our motive, we fall short in our knowledge of Him.
The consciousness/mindset of sin is a very powerful one that we find it so hard to let go of. Am I saying it does not matter what we do or do not do? Never! I am just saying that let us align to the purpose of the gospel. Let us stick to the intention of Abba for giving us the gospel of Grace. That intention is that it loves us. The gospel is God's perspective of us, not our perspective of Him or of ourselves.
The aim/intention behind the whole old covenant of the law is the knowledge and consciousness of sin.
Romans 3:20
[20]Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
The law multiplies sin even though the law says not to sin. It could not have been that Grace should serve the same purpose as the law. I have not met a man alive or dead who does not know what sin is without having a Bible or going to church. It is common knowledge. The knowledge of God's love for us in Christ Jesus? Now that is not so common and that is the purpose and intention of Grace. The law says, "you shall not sin", Grace cries, " the Father loves you and He is your righteousness."
If eradicating sin is what we yet see as the primary purpose and aim of Grace, then we are still far short of the knowledge of the Holy One. Consider this, the Father could have sent Jesus Christ to save us without a mention of His love for us, just as a father could have sent someone to do something for his son without expressing love in doing it. I mean, it could all have been done out of a mere sense of duty the way we often help strangers sometimes. Jesus is the Saviour, granted. His name also means "God is salvation." One might then say, well He was just doing His duty. That kind of thinking misses the point. He owes us nothing, not a single duty. Watch out for the completion in a later post.

I might be wrong, but the fight seemed fixed. AJ talked about losing days before the fight. I was aware of the interview. I had my doubts since then. Does John 15:13 Really Talks About The Greatest Love? (Part 2)
John 15:13
[13]Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
The love of Christ for us is demonstrated on three levels to show that it is not captured by John 15:13. The love of Christ is not just demonstrated in His death for us, it is also demonstrated in His resurrection and His ascension to live forever at the right hand of God.
The love of Christ for us spans death, resurrection and eternal life.

Now no man can ever love like this. A man might love another enough to die for him, but he cannot love him enough to rise up from the dead to live to love such a person thereafter. Loving enough to die is what John 15:13 talks about. It does not capture loving enough to come back alive from the dead. We all have the power to lay down our lives for our loved ones, but no human has the power to take back his/her life after dying for his/her loved one. Christ did not just love us and gave himself for us in death, but also for us in resurrection and life forever. This is the greatest love that no man can ever attain.
Romans 8:34-35
[34]Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
[35]Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or unclothedness, or peril, or sword?
The scripture above shows that the love is not just in His death for us, but also in His resurrection for me and you.

If a man loves enough to die for another, he leaves the beloved in misery and sorrow for the rest of his/her life, though the beloved is grateful, he or she continues to feel the absence of the lover and to mourn him. Not so with the love of God for us. We don't have to mourn because He loved us enough to come back from the dead and be with us in love forever. This is our joy. We rejoice in Him forever.
Philippians 3:3
[3]For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
Our joy is in His resurrection, for if He did not resurrect, we are doomed.
1 Corinthians 15:13-18
[13]But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
[14]And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
[15]Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
[16]For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
[17]And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
[18]Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

Jesus is not just alive today, He is alive for us. It is half truth to believe that He died for us but today He is just alive. He lives for us today and forever. We are His beloved and His purpose for living forever.
Hebrews 7:25
[25]Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Beloved, God loves us far beyond death and life. His love for us is far beyond anything speakable or describable. It is not limited to death or even to life. It is far beyond what John 15:13 describes. That is the height of the love of man, not of the love of God for us in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:38-39
[38]For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
[39]Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Do not conceive for one split second that the life talked about in verse 38 above is this present life, the Greek word translated life there is "zoe" which means eternal life. The love of God even transcends that life. Mind-blowing, innit? Rejoice in the Grace. Cheers!

Does John 15:13 Really Talks About The Greatest Love?
John 15:13
[13]Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Lots of us are quite conversant with the verse above, nevertheless, many of us do not know what the verse means at all. Perhaps we will get the full meaning of that verse if we read it in contrast with Romans 5:8. Let's see what that verse says.
Romans 5:8
[8]But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Looking at the two verses above, there is a sharp contrast. A man died for his friends and Christ died for sinners, not friends. Romans 5:6-8 clearly brings it out.
Romans 5:6-7
[6]For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
[7]For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8]But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Friends are often good folks, the good people we share the same thing with. Generally, friends are likeable people. Now Jesus said, "greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." That verse speaks of the love of man and the height of that love. No man dies for his enemy. No man dies for evil people. The height of human love is to die for his friends (friends here will include generally all the good people around that person, including his family). Jesus Christ in John 15:13 was talking about loving as a man or rather how man loves. The love of man does not transcend dying (making sacrifice) for ones friends or those that are likeable to one.
Now according to Romans 5:7, it is even very scarce for a righteous or good man to find someone who will die for him. Yet that is the height of the love of man, nonetheless it is very scarce to find. Am I disputing the fact that he referred to the disciples as friends in that verse? No, I am not. Jesus was only espousing love to them, albeit in the human language that they can easily understand. More so, He was also teaching them the height of the love of man.
The love of Christ for us transcends what is described in John 15:13. Jesus was teaching His disciples the highest any man could ever love in that verse. The love of God for us is far greater than the love of man described in John 15:13. We only need to put John 15:13 beside Romans 5:6-8 and we will see a very big difference.
Looking at that John 15:13 closely, we see a man loving and dying for his friends. Where is the Grace in that? Selah! Where is Grace in one man dying for his good friends? The love in that place is merited and not gracious one bit. The love of our Abba Father is not so. Friends are people who are in one's good books. Human love does not transcend making sacrifice for one's friends. This kind of love is merited and conditional. The love of man does not transcend death, but the love of God does. Let me leave you with this little thought-provoking question. If John 15:13 really describes the height of God's love for us, is it not the case that there are certain human beings (history is filled with people who have died for others out of sheer love) who have the capacity to love just as God Himself? The true meaning of John 15:13 is that no man can love beyond dying for another. Is that the limit of God's love too? Watch out for the second part in order to have the full picture.

The first thing you must recognise is that you have done nothing wrong in liking her. Feelings can be blind a lot of times. Don't mind those saying derogatory things about you already. If most of them see a married young lady right now, they will still have erections.

The Father's Love For You
We have earthly parents who gave birth to us without the foreknowledge of us. If many of them had an opportunity to see into the future and see what they will be giving birth to, they would never have chosen us, if they had the power to choose the kind of child they will give birth to.
Likewise, we did not choose our parents. We just found ourselves born to them. If many of us had a choice to choose our parents, many of us would not have been born into the families we were born into.
One thing is common in the two scenarios above, both we and our parents are poised to make choices based on overall perceived goodness.
In contrast, our heavenly Father ("heavenly Father" does not mean that He only dwells in heaven and is confined to heaven, but that He is not like our earthly fathers) knew what He was getting before He predestinated us to the adoption of sons in Christ. Before we were predestinated, He foreknew us. Romans 8:29.
Just imagine the kind of love that God has for us to have made His sons and to have saved us in Christ Jesus. I John 3:1. He was well aware of every mistake we will make, every sin we will commit and every screw-up we will have even after we have become born again. Yet, He received us and made us new creations in Christ Jesus. A man turns to receive Christ and God receives that man instantly proclaiming Himself his Father. Mind you, He was well aware of the messy things the man will yet do after becoming born again, yet He still received Him.
Judas Iscariot never surprised Jesus Christ. Peter never surprised Him. He knew the mistake they would both make, yet He made them His disciples. Wait! What manner of man selects betrayers as part of His inner circle? Yet He went ahead loving them and not condemning them. That kind of love is not human, it is only divine. This is the kind of love that the Father has bestowed upon us in Christ Jesus.
Notice the Apostle John in that 1 John 3:1 used the phrase "bestowed upon" in reference to God loving us. That is to show that His love for us is not anything that we have earned or that we can earn. It is completely a gift and an honour that is bestowed upon us freely. Actually, the phrase "bestowed upon" in that verse is from a single Greek word "didomi" which means "give" or "grant". So, the Father's love is a gift given to us freely. It is not a reward for our good behaviour. Sonship in Christ Jesus is a gift, not a reward. Just as our parents did not give birth to us as a reward for our good behaviours. They could have aborted us while we were still in conception.
This brings us to the heretic and unscriptural position of some folks, that salvation is not eternal and that a believer (a man that has been born anew of God) can still go to hell because he/she does not have it all together after becoming born again. I should ask those people this: will they kill their own children after giving birth to them just because those children do not have perfect behaviours after growing up? Do earthly parents kill their children for their misbehaviours? How many earthly parents have ever assayed to even do so? Leave your kids to be crushed by an oncoming truck just because they failed to heed your warning not to play by the roadside? Only an insane parent will attempt to do any of the above. If humans are not like that and these people say God is willing to give up on us for our mistakes, does not that mean that human beings love far better than God? Does it not mean that our earthly parents are far better than this heavenly Father? Yet Jesus said
"if ye then being evil know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give good gifts to them that ask Him?" Matthew 7:11.
Just notice the sharp contrast. Is He the God who aborts His children? I believe not. He does not commit abortion. If He does not save to the end, then He must be a God who aborts. Who then can be saved? Who will make it to then? Is there any of us who has a pristine and perfect behaviour without any blemish? I think not.
Yet thanks be to God for nothing shall ever separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. If He loved us as a gift to begin with, He will love us to the very end.
