Kobojunkie:Build your strawman and destroy them by yourself. Nice occupation. Enjoy. |
You might want to step back. |
Interesting. |
Lies, lies and more lies. If the pilot was truly headed for Asaba, how come his crew announced that they had arrived in Abuja after landing in Asaba? Mtchew. |
Using state money to renovate the burnt house of a former president, really? Are members of his family poor? The President of the US and his family even spend their own money for their upkeep in the white house, but we are using state money to renovate a former president's house. Wonders shall never end, in Nigeria. |

Hmmmmm institutional collapse everywhere |
I am convinced the judgment was changed after the deliberations of the judges. The document could not have been prepared before judgment was delivered. After all, in the case of BAT versus AtikuObi, the judges came with prepared documents to deliver judgment. Their deliberation concluded in favour of Yusuf, but a "miracle" happened at the 11th hour making them to deliver judgment in favour of Gawuna. |
Never knew they now have judicial powers too. When did legislators start putting people in prison? Nigeria! |
Tonnyray:Shambolic! However, let's not forget that military politics is different from democratic politics. I do not believe he had as much freedom and power over elections in 79 as he did in 99 onward. The military is a different kettle of fish. |
Most people commenting here are not taking cognisance of the fact that he was not yet the President when this happened. The year was 1998. His statement attests to the fact that election rigging has been a thing in Nigeria before he assumed power in '99. It's even childish to think rigging started with Obasanjo. Well, those who are not conversant with the history of elections in Nigeria are free to think so. |
Hmmmm there's never money for the people, but there's always money for those in government. |
Obasanjo has been vindicated. Did BAT not say the PH refinery will work by December and OBJ responded that if any refinery works by December, they should call him a bastard? Who's having the last laugh now? Who was lying and who was saying the truth? But some blind and unpatriotic elements who have sold their consciences for cobs of corn abused OBJ and called him an enemy of progress. |
I was wondering if MTN is that nice. |
laivwire:Your first paragraph perfectly captures my mind. Why does she have a phone if she doesn't pick calls or respond to texts? The red flag is so big. |
Women in the majority! More women than men in SA. Does that not portend something for them later? |
Foolishness! |
False report. They did not strip him of his titles. He didn't get them from the group in the first place. The only people that can strip him of his titles are the Obas that conferred them on him. This group is only saying they will no longer recognise him with any of his chieftaincy titles any more. This headline is misleading. |
I'm sure someone will cry foul if it were to be Christian-Christian, but since it is Muslim-Muslim, it is all about merit now. |
SweetDipBenny:Unfortunately, most Nigerians will not listen and reason until it is too late. Is removal of subsidy the only way forward? No, but my country people like joining the bandwagon, even if it will lead to their death. |
System202:Most of them don't know what ASUU has been doing for them. They are quick to call ASUU names. ASUU was on strike last year for just #200 billion, the former accountant general singlehandedly stole #197billion in the same year, yet ASUU is selfish and ASUU is the problem. |
Salient points. |
buygala:you Sabi game |
I've seen a female friend do such to his boyfriend before. Based on what I gleaned from that situation, I can still confidently tell you that the girl is likely not cheating on you, but surely, she is not yet completely persuaded of the relationship with you. She is leaving all options open. She is trying to play it safe, in case things go south in the future. Telling you she loves you was done in the heat of the moment, as she has really missed you. The following moment she deleted it was when her emotions subsided a bit and some self-preservation rationality kicked in. I don't think you should fret, with time, she will come around most likely. As long as you two have been good for the last two years, the chance of her coming around is higher than any other. My little understanding though! Check your gut-feeling, don't let pessimistic opinions drive you to unnecessary paranoia. |
DaddyJapan:Wow! Just seeing this part. This thing looks more evil than good to me in the long run |
If Yari becomes the SP, that means we will have Muslims as number 1 to 3 citizens of this country. Not mentioning the fact that Tajudeen Abbas will most likely emerge the Speaker of HoR. That's 1 to 4 all Muslims. We are watching. |
HeartlessMan:Stopppeeeetttt! BAT would have shot himself in the leg by doing that. Lol |
Why does Amosun look more presidential than the actual President? Even the positioning in the picture is somehow. Amosun is more central while BAT is more by the side. |
I see some folks up there saying Nigeria is broke. Let's be mindful of our words please. Nigeria is not broke, Nigeria has only been looted to emptiness by some few people. Don't say Nigeria is broke as if Nigeria ran out of resources as a result of catering to her citizens. Nigeria has been looted dry. Thank you! |
taneez:We are still being carried away by our emotions for now. Our eyes go soon clear. |
rajsuresh:Very good question. Diesel also. Till today, the US still subsidises fuel for her citizens, but a lot of Nigerians are anywhere belle face people. In the face of corruption rapaciously sucking our resources, some folks believe that removing subsidy will just turn Nigeria into a paradise. I am laughing. We are being terrorised by armed robbers and we think the solution to that is to make more property available? 😂😂😂 |
Yet to see a comment here that really tallies with the writer's point. The writer is talking about a possible deception, folks up there are busy saying other things. They are free though. If subsidy is really gone, why is the NNPCL still fixing price as against market forces determining price? Do we recollect that the Buhari regime increased the price of fuel several times under the guise of removing subsidy?? Nigerians are too naive and gullible for my liking. There are questions begging for answers. Subsidy was removed by Buhari at least three times before this last (present) budget. Same subsidy is still being removed now. Hope they won't tell us tomorrow that they want to remove subsidy again because they didn't actually fully remove it this time? |
