Tinubu is in a hurry for vendetta because he knows that he never won the last presidential election, and he will soon vacate the office stolen for him by Mahmood Yakubu appoint
ed INEC Chairman by Tinubu's APC.

This is not about Vendetta, tell me what the CBN under the leadership of Emefiele has been doing right?
Politics / Re: Labour Party To Tinubu: Investigate INEC & Yakubu before Emefiele by yemex04(m): 6:55am On Jun 11, 2023
So LP support the poor monetary Policies of the CBN which have negatively affec6 the economy?

Again by the last paragraph of their Statement, they want a "thorough investigation" and yet they don't want the Governor to be suspended?

Eyeneck and PDAPC didn't see this coming

Alaye!
There's nothing in all these shenanigans from Obi /LP counsels.. Their displays have been mostly dramatic & amateurish.

As expected your hopes are risen now but when the Judges rule otherwise you will lay curses on them but they will count for nothing.

These so-called witnesses keep saying the same thing. Is there any new information in these testimonies? We all know that INEC didn't upload the presidential election on the election day. PDP is just wasting the court's time.

Exactly, the whole world knew the snapped PU results could be uploaded. I think the Argument now should be wether or not electoral laws have been violated or not

I was surprised when one Yoruba man here in Abuja open his mouth and told me that NLC are Peter Obi people that they are fighting Tinubu government for Obi. Yoruba people are unbelievable.

What gave them out was their open partisanship & alignment with Peter Obi & Labour Party.
At a every given time their credibility would be called to question because Government will always assume some of stands are in solidarity with their known Party

NL has been reduced to a tool of propaganda. I expected this news to come with an official memo. But sadly, a few poorly educated people are masturbating on a 'mere text message'. I actually felt some Nigerians were wise. Now I know better. It's really sad that I come from a country where people support mediocrity with their full chest. JOHESU is an affiliate of NLC and y'all just wasted your data praising who I cannot describe (for want of a better term) for doing what is already dead on arrival. Nansense.

Was the entire NLC on strike when they started theirs way earlier? If that was not the case, why must they embark on along with them?

It makes no sense to say market forces will determine price when you have only one supplier in the market

More suppliers will never come until the full deregulation of the Sector which the removal of subsidy aims at taking care of.So NLC should embrace the removal ASAP
Politics / Re: Tinubu Has Solution For Impact Of Subsidy Removal, Says Oshiomhole (Video) by yemex04(m): 9:15am On Jun 05, 2023
LeoDeKing:
It appears the only solution to this issue of fuel subsidy removal is increase in wages.

But when wages are increased, prices of commodities will respond in the usual language which in effect dampens the increase in wages.

NLC will then start negotiating for another salary increase and if govt obliged again, the cycle is repeated.

We expect govt officials to be resourceful rather than simply following popular demands for wage increase as that will in effect portray them as just empty opportunists struggling to just control the resources.

Get experts in relevant fields to address this issue, I don't subscribe to increase in wages.

Nice angle to look at it from but in a case where the inflation is already high in a way that the wages aren't enough to meet up, then political economic sense has to come into play.. Even then, outside the situation we are in now, inflation naturally occurs when people have more money than the available goods & services, but even with the proposed increment for civil servants, will the monies in the hand of people be excessive?

LP & PO are just being dramatic.. they have just 3 weeks to proof how the Election was rigged in so much a way that would affected the outcome of the Election...Out of the 3 weeks, how many have used in presenting results so far? I know about this Drama because I see my LG(IBARAPA EAST) in Oyo state,I know Labour Party or PO is known there,so how could there have been any marginal dispute there to contend by LP.

lexy2014:

the question is why did he oppose it then?

you talking about leadership. why didnt he have the courage to support GEJ on fuel subsidy?

that being said, how is nigeria subsidizing fuel for neighbouring countries?

the question is why did he oppose it then?

He(BAT) should be in the best position to answer that perfectly, however you sometimes take a stand on issues best on the information available to you per time..may be,just may be that he is better informed now

you talking about leadership. why didnt he have the courage to support GEJ on fuel subsidy?

One key quality of a Leader is beeing affirmative when taking difficult but benefitial descision... because definitely you would not get supports everyone when taking a policy descision on a complex issue like that of Subsidy..Yes GEJ did not require Tinubu's support to stand courageous & act rightly even when difficult. BAT will not have the support of everyone this time & like I said earlier, how he handles it will determine his leadership skills.

you talking about leadership. why didnt he have the courage to support GEJ on fuel subsidy?

Okay, for example I reside in Ota Ogun state,a passage to Idiroko a border town with Benin Republic,I know of quite a number of filling stations where they sell PMS in to 25 Liters Gallons, many of them to Nigerians who take them to the neighbouring Countries to sell..recall subsidized fuel is supposed to be for Nigerians? These people smuggle them out through the Borders & of course Nigerians in Customs Service(Like most Nigerians) are corrupt to let it pass for a cut infact some of them are into the business directly. Since corruption is in the DNA of most Nigerians, the only other way to fight it is to block the platforms for corruption & this is what the removal of subsidy is expected to do from that issue.
Politics / Re: Nigeria Can’t Be Subsidising Fuel For Neighbouring Countries - President Tinubu by yemex04(m): 9:27am On Jun 01, 2023
Redoil:

Tinubu once opposed subsidy removal during GEJ administration when cost of living was relatively cheap. His party is in government for the past eight years and they didn't build any refinery. The masses will suffer it the more now his party has removed subsidy in the midst of suffering.
'
Same way when the past regime of President Goodluck Jonathan wanted to remove and rid Nigeria of this economic monster 13 years ago, but all you demons in the APC vehemently opposed him only to perpetuate the same fraudulent fuel subsidy then lied of removing it again and again. Bunch of fucktards and retards.

and as for you posting this clip carry your broom go filling station and shout emilokan and see the amount of biscuit that will fill your jerrycan

Leadership sometimes is not all about provision Bread & Tea... Sometimes you must have the courage to sometimes serve something bitter but yet benefitial. Yes there was opposition to the removal of subsidy in 2012 just like there will be this time again in 2023.. Wether or not BAT will cowed eventually like GEJ did in 2012 will determine how courageous each of the two Leaders are. But something tells me we gonna have to deal with this served bitter leave for now.

Six geopolitical zones in the country. President Tinubu won 1 (South West), Obi won 2 (South South and South East), Atiku won 3 (North West, North East, and North Central). Tinubu won because of his performance in all the zones except the South East. Atiku lost because of his poor performance in the South hitherto his strong base. Obi lost because of his poor performance in the North. Tinubu spread of votes gave him victory.

Actually,Tinubu won majority of the Vote cast in the Southwest,Northwest & North central & came second in the Notheast,Southsouth & Southeast-distance second.

True, but it should not be like that, if something is illegal, it should be seen like that. Well i'm just speaking as a layman.

Illegality is when something is done against the established Law.. who determines is something has been illegally done? The Courts!
So if the Court concludes that there's was no illegality in the nomination of Shettimma then it is mischievous for anyone to call it illegality.
