Hmmmmmmmm, i think we actually came to the knowledge of it because we feel we exist.

As for my view,i've said it all in my first post in this thread. I equated Mind to soul, and said it was abstract and operated on individual perception. It doesnt locate anywhere, infact mind/soul is independence of the body.

There is difference between what we think(using our brains) and minds. we came to the knowledge of something through our minds(feeling of existence), and we use our thinking process(using faculty of the brains) to see if they are good or bad. That is why alot of things(good and bad)could comes to our minds without passing through a thinking process. Unlike "thinking", Minds are governs by instinct or innate desires.


Perhaps i should just say Mind is simply an "instinct".

Back then, this particular question caused a serious interesting aguement in our philosophy class. A lot of unanswerable questions were asked. i laughed at those saying the location of Mind when started reading wide.

Environment is an entity comprises of different institutions, so when we are talking about environment, we are directly or indirectly talking about institutions around us.

The answer to your question is 'Absolutely YES'.

Let me get fully into practical analysis. I will try to be as brief as possible.

1. Mr. A get a good business idea but dont have money to execute his plan, he approach a bank but only to given a ridiculous condition before any loan could be granted. He eventually give up due to unfriendly procedure asking by the banks. (financial institution problem).

2. Mr. A decided to seek for another source by asking some same minded fellow to team up with him but was eventually duped or tricked by the said people. Though he got them arrested but these people buys their way out and were set free without recovering Mr. A investment. (Legal and law enforcement problem).

3. The same Mr. A now vow that he will never do anything with just anybody but trusted person that is in the same line of business with him. He approach the said person(though the person was reluntantly agreed) but later discovered the person lack of interest is as a result of Religion, Culture or Ethnic difference.

4. Mr. A now says, let me just try my luck with my limited available resource but later discovered his running expense is greater than his gross profit,let alone net profit.( infrastructure,government policy etc).

5. Mr. A says ok, let me just focus on my immediate environment so that i can provide service/sell my goods to them in order to avoid unnecessary cost and make a quick turnover. He later regreted because these people lacks financial power to make a significant purchasing power. (poverty)

6. Mr. A despite his failure and other problems encountered still hope of a better day. He continue until he discovered he has wasted few years pursuing unrealistic idea.

7. Mr. A later discovered that his mate out there who has been doing white kola jobs are now living comfortably with their wives.

8. Mr. A eventually dust his Pali and started hunting for white kola job.

The above are practical example of how our society has frustrated and killed many ideas that would have make a huge different on our economic development.

I'm a business man, and i can tell you from my practical experience that if you dont have a good money, you are just joking with your time.

A team is absolutely necessary but the environment does not encourage or give room for genuine ones.

I got your point, like some, you honestly have a good intention.

You talked about adaptation,diversification and creativity? Well, Nigerians living in Nigeria has already adapt and this is the root cause of our various problems. And like you said in your previous post, people are doing different sort of things all alone and alone withiout having it or getting it right, so individually,diversification has already takes place. Tallking about creativity,do you know how many ideas that has been killed due to our unfavourable environment?

We can change our world individually but we cannnot make it work by bypassing the major institutions requires for the sustainability of the said plans/ideas.

Sir, not that i'm forcing my opinion on you but i want you to re-consider the impact of following institutions on individual decision making in Nigeria;

Economic condition.

Judiciary system.

Law enforcement.

security.

infrastructure.

social institution.

Religion.

Ethnicity.

culture

Education.

Yes we built our society, but the role of institutions we all entrust our individual will go a long way in sustainablity of such structure or hope. It's imperative to know that an ordinary man in his limited ability/animanistic behavious cannot do something absolutely perfect or acceptable in the eye of his fellow men.

This is where the societal structure comes to mind. And what am i refers to as social Structure, by structure i meant various institutions including government of the society. For instance, have we ever ask ourselves why the same Nigerians who are living in the well organised societies lives within the confine of law and order?

hello good morning
good farmers in the house.My name is latifah.i am a graduate with Bachelor's degree in microbiology.I'v had interest in agriculture especially poultry farming since my childhood.Now as the economy of Nigeria is..being self employed(farming especially)is the only solution to unemployment problems.

Now, my fear is..I changed my mind to raise them till Easter which is going to be almost 5months of their production.
What do you advice me to do because..I am going to have overweighed cost of production.and im sure its not economical enough to sell them for #3500.Im scared.im finking of getting help on processing into frozen chicken by ending of jan when they will be exactly 3months.

Now that you found yourself in this situation, you have two options for you to get reasonable profit from your investment.

1. You sell them to the proccessors or you proccess it if you can. But i'm not sure if any processor would be willing to buy 3 months old broilers which must not less than 2.5kg.

2. If you still have some money,you can cut down their feed consumption by 50% and raise them till Easter. Infact you can even cut it down to 30% from now and increase it to like 80% a week to Easter(just a week to Easter).

1. Your tribe cannot be more united than the Igbos. The last 2015 general elections proved to enemies and naysayers that the Igbos spoke with one voice. How then do you think Igbos were able to succeed in business than ANY OTHER despite the impediments posed by the powers that be? 2. You're simply spreading lies.
There's no tribe that's more accommodating and considerate than the Igbos.
Over the decades Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis have proven to have voted along tribal lines. But not so with the Igbos.
At those times Igbos built ties, formed alliances and voted for Northerners (Shagari - 1979, Yaradua - 2007), Yorubas (Abiola - 1993, Obj 2x - 1999 & 2003) and Ijaw (GEJ - 2007) to enable them get the presidency even at the expense of Igbo men. That's an indisputable fact! 

3. Lying propagandist, can you point out one Igbo leader that ever maligned or insulted your parents or people and I'll list at least 10 of renowned tribalist whom you lots even shove down the throats of other people as nationalist?

4. Take your regional party, IGBOS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THE PRESIDENCY TO SURVIVE!

5. The most greedy people are found in the North and SW. Overy the years the set of people have ruined the fortune of this country with their unbridled treasury looting. If you're still feigning ignorance I shall oblige you with the compendium.

These greedy elites own more than 85% of oil wells while impoverishing the Niger-deltans and destroying the environment.
These set of people are responsible for the exorbitant cost of plots of lands in Lagos and Abuja. Pray tell, why would a plot of land be sold for N300 million to Igbos and in some cases a billion naira? How many of you lots can spare N20 million for choice lands in Igboland? Is that not greed?

Opposition or not, self-determination is an inalienable right of a people. Majority of Igbos are comfortable having a separate existence.

If you can cease standing for nothing then it becomes easier for you to channel your energies towards the emancipation of your people.

You can as well channels those energies towards the emergency of Igbo born president in the nearest future. What make you think you can achieve an independent struggle withiout strong representatives at the centre?

Your region need to address the following;

1. Igbo are not united, not even for once, and that is not likely to happen even after the so called Biafra nation.
