Befor Ridadu, corruption was taken for granted but today, it might not be perfect but we're coming up.
FamilyRe: How Necessary Is Marriage? by yimiton(f): 9:35am On Jan 18, 2008
Of course marriage is necessary, if not, God wouldn't have ordained it.

I'll like to have children and a man by my side to live with, cry with, laugh with, quarrel with, love, hate and what ever.
A man that will be totally mine and me totally his. This is what I think marriage entails.
On the aspect of children, I definitely wouldn't want to be a single mom by choice neighter will I want to stay childless, in this context, unless I deceive myself, of course marriage is VERY VERY necessary to me and even important.

CultureRe: My Girl Wants To Marry Me But Her Parents Said No (Osu) by yimiton(f): 12:46pm On Jan 17, 2008
For the love of Christ, if this girl loves you, go ahead and get married.
What's stopping you? I hope her parents come around to accept you later. If they don't, you have your lives to live. Make the best of it.

It's wonderful to have both parents accept our spouses, but if they don't and we're truly in love, i think they are just being unfair to their children.
It's high time this Osu nonsense is kicked out of this country. It should be a criminal offence for anyone to discrimate against a fellow human being for something he know nothing about.

ify_aidee:
don't just mind those frustrators, my niece happens to be a victim, thank God the minor family who are believers, so they went ahead and gave out their daughter to the acclaimed osu guy. they were excommunicated, but does it matter? no it doesnt. the larger family did not attend the mariage but me i went -o and still visit and communicate with them afterall the blood lineage remains. gradually some of the so called larger family are beining to get close to them.
I hope people learn from this. This is interesting. Your niece took the right decision. wink

Low Lifers who try to get unnecessary attention to themselves are best ignored.

I'll rather not exchange words with someone who does not know the meaning of decency or integrity.

@ opuro,
This is totally insulting and degrading.
Do you understand what is means to be friends?
Sometimes, people like you make me wonder what exactly I'm doing on NL.
Please look at issues from a mature view point.
Not every friendship is based on sex or selfishishness.
I'm friends today with this said guy because he's responsible and mature and for my own personal reasons, I can't date him.
I'll appreciate it very much if you ignore my posts henceforth. I don't take likely to insults.

I definitely prefer the black guys to the white ones.

I've always wondered what is so sexy about Brad Pitt, I think George Cloony is very cool though.

Get to meet him.
If your friend likes him, where they met initially does not matter.
What matters is if they get along well.

RomanceRe: Why Won't You Marry Him/her by yimiton(f): 10:08am On Jan 17, 2008
There are lots of reasons I won't want to marry someone but as a lot of other people have said, somethings can actually be over looked.

One person I know i won't marry though is a woman beater. I call that madness.

I won't also want to marry a man that is a member of a sect like Hare Krisna, Gray message, Guru Marahaji and other such sects. They just send a creapy feeling in my spine.

Otherwise, if a man is intelligen, caring, God fearing and responsible, why won't I marry him?

was just thinking, were it not u that was asking d house whether to marry your 15yr old girlfriend? embarassed

well if u're up to marriageable age n your girl is just 15, that means u've not started mingling with big girls, was just thinking mayb your 15yr olds generally stink because they're still cleaning catarrh sideways. grin cry

@ Poster,
What sort of girls do you date? What sort of Ladies do you get attracted to?

You said MOST, this is ironical and totally far fetched. Mr. sylvao, your observation is totally untrue. I advice you re-direct your attention to decent sweet smelling girls who value their hygiene a lot.
RomanceRe: Kissed In Public? by yimiton(f): 9:38am On Jan 16, 2008
bamie:
@yimiton, the big thing is that it is not our culture, it is white people's culture. And the fact that you are kissing in public will be tantamount to you being a prostitute. People will look at you as if you are from a family who is promiscous.
That's the big deal
This is na real wa!

It is not our culture to kiss at all Decent Mr. Banie neighter is it our culture to hold hands or show any kind of affection in public. If doing all these makes you a PROSTITUTE, then, you are a prostitute for even dating a lady before marrying her!

This is the 21st century man, wake up! Culture is diversified now, the world is a global village!
