Akeredolu means well for his people. He has been very vocal about the killings by those Fulani herdsmen, kidnappers and bandits. I'm proud to say it out loud that I support TINUBU. Of all the candidates, he has shown the capacity and ability to find and install capable hands in important positions. This to me is a critical ability that a lot of Nigerian leaders lack.
Having said all that, what's important in my view is a free and fair chance to win the primary via an election. If Tinubu is allowed to contest like all the other candidates and he loses, then so be it. But to prevent him from contesting will be catastrophic for APC in the short and long run.

Well said. The playing field should be level for all the aspirants. Let them all file out and test their popularity. It's looking very interesting, that APC primaries will be epic. History will give a good account of it.

I have heard that too, but I still don't think that they will disqualify Tinubu. That will be automatic win for Atiku. Even I will vote for Atiku.
That will be the beginning of the end of APC. Plus they will have a lot of legal cases on their hands for disqualifying people based on age especially when the constitution allows that age to contest for the Presidency.

The party should be fair to not just Tinubu but all the other contestants, the man has really tried for the party. I think one good turn deserves another, even though I hold the interest of Nigeria above individual aspirations. I do not currently support any of the aspirants, but I might tilt towards XYZ. I will reveal this when the time comes. Tinubu will not go down without a good fight, the APC will be demolished the moment they 'change' it for Jagaban.

The screening committee chairman confirmed today that 10 aspirants out of the 23 have been disqualified. There is a widespread rumor that Tinubu is part of those disqualified, we are all standing by for updates.

The more Tinubu continues to sing this song of "Without me, Buhari wouldn't have become President", the more he shoots himself in the foot. You foisted a complete failure on Nigerians and you are coming out with your full chest to admit it. Tinubu's campaign team should advise him to just keep shut for now whilst they handle the damage control.

I understand your point, but truth is, only a Tinubu has all it takes to tackle an Atiku, but the North would rather vote for their 'brother'. Again, sentiments aside, with a Northerner being the flagbearer for the PDP, it would be very hard for a Southerner to defeat him. It's either the APC take chances on Tinubu or field a Northerner as well, anything short of these is tantamount to a huge loss.

Tinubu should go and rest please. 'Osunbade' all the way, just that Atiku will crush him. The APC should consider this election lost for them, except they use the 'power of incumbency'. Atiku will destroy anybody. He did in 2019, but the APC 'did the needful' in order to win the election. Fingers crossed, we are watching, 2023 is around the corner.

Decision like this will be made on a round table. The north will allow an Igbo man to be president if the have a good deal on the table. Jonathan, a common Ijaw man from a very small Bayelsa State won Atiku in this same country. It was to them, a miracle. So, why can't an Igbo man be president years after?

Jonathan's case was more of sympathy and sentiments and the powers that be, in the North were solidly behind him, that divided the votes in the North which made things skew in his (Jonathan) favor.

Atiku is the flagbearer for the PDP, the entire North have queued behind him, only God can stop Atiku but if God decides to not intervene, then only the 'power of incumbency' can stop him.
