In this present arrangement the other religions will not allow u guys forcely, intolerantly, & violently freely practice your religion without any inhibitions whatsoever.
So why not peacefully go your seperate ways? You forget that even if the country is divided, we have Yoruba Christians/muslims, Igbo Christians/Muslims, Hausa Christians/Muslims etc. |

Arrewa: Who's going to break Nigeria??
No one can break Nigeria except the north!!
We'll divide this country at the right time...
Even if we give a southern president power he can't break Nigeria.
We have the military power and now gradually dominating other institutions in Nigeria.
Southerners are still yet to understand The power of the north.
You see tribalism?? Na now the north just dey start tribalism!!
Una Don teach teach us, Believe Me... we are fast learners!!
Which tribe started tribalism?? Which tribe tried to conquer Nigeria?? Which tribe Annexed Nigeria by introducing unitary system inorder to take full control??
The only reasons Azikiwe orchestrated a coup against the then govt of Tafa Belewa was because the COR region was set to be carved out from the then defunct eastern region. And with the lure of oil money at stake, Azikiwe ordered his thugs in he army to overthrow the govt and from there roll out an Igbo dictatorship under a powerful central govt...
Igbos will deny this but Decree 34 was the deadly blow that killed regionalism, put an end to COR region and gave birth to the exploitative centrist govt.
Have you asked why Ojukwu supported the abolition of regional governance and forced unification under Ironsi's Igbo dictatorship but later began clamouring for a return to regionalism 5mths later in Aburi?
Tell an Igbo man as a Niger Deltan that you agree with Nigeria's dissolution but will rather have a separate nation for the Niger Delta and watch him insult you and say "is Niger Delta a tribe"?
After the successful Igbo coup, Adaka Boro led a revolt to leave Nigeria entirely... Who clamped down on that secessionist movement? The Igbos under Ironsi with Ojukwu commanding the military offensive. You are not in any way victims of Nigeria but the main arch villains.
70% of igbos allow emotions be cloud them rather than actual facts. Even when the know the truth emotion get the best of them!!
Only the jallos have the intellectual capacity to counter the igbos in Africa...
They also want to be us... They want to dominate too. They want the power too.
They love superiority.... But only the Fulanis are stoping them!!
I used to tell my Dad....That one Nigeria is a logical fallacy, a myth and a folktale.
The only solution is to come together and end Nigeria!!!
If we fail to divide this country now... The HausaFulanis you hate and despise are getting stronger than ever before!!!
The New Generation of Hausa/Fulanis are going to be brutal on the south when we finally find ourselves in the corridor of power!!
Because we are more intelligent, more sophisticated and more smarter than our parents... And not too religious!!
We have no shortage of rugged intelligent souls!!
So it's better for all the igbos to start supporting Nnamdi kanu now...
Cos with the level of this hatred you've displayed...if Nigeria fail to divide!!!
Hmmmm, Da magana.... Please what type and brand of alcohol did you drink? |

sleekymag: The issue i have with statements like this is that Bishop Oyedepo's second son, Pastor Isaac, lives abroad, in the US for that matter, heading the Winners church in Maryland, US. This same son of his was in charge of Winners church in South Africa before moving to the US. Also his first son, Pastor David Jnr, now resident pastor in Canaanland used to live in the UK heading the Winners church there.
If Nigerians were not migrating abroad, there would be virtually no winners chapel in many of the countries the church operates in, because most of the members there are of Nigerian descent. In US for example, most winners churches members are 80 to 90% Nigerians, if not more.
People migrate for various reasons. So long as they're making earnings legitimately, it doesn't matter the nature of their jobs. Let Nigeria get itself properly, those who choose to stay, will stay.
By the way, Bishop Oyedepo himself has been traveling to the US for long. In 1987, he planned to relocate permanently, there was nothing wrong with that plan. It was his heart desire, just like many Nigerians who may wish to relocate too. Only that in his case, God later told him not to move. There are many that God has sanctioned their move abroad. No cap size fits all. Some will go for sometime and come back to invest in Nigeria, some will never return. To each his own. Well said. |

Eriokanmi: I'm on oyedepo's side on this. I took same bold step but never regretted it. I'm an embodiment of God's favour and grace. Shebi we go the America sef, but I chose to return home after my program. I don't know if the highest earning Nigerian living overseas can match me in revenues monthly. I give them money each time I go America. Ordinary 100 dollar is like giving them millions. I had shared stories of my life and that of my uncle who used to work at Walmart in the past as stores officer. He shunned the flashy lifestyles over there and came back home, to introduce a solar inverter manufactured by trace engineering, USA which later became Xantrex. His friends booed him, they said village people had come calling, that he's been bewitched. This man today is a billionaire. He had a major leap in his business when the atm revolution erupted in Nigeria, he became favourite of old generation banks including the CBN for installation of inverters to power all their atms nationwide. Na foreigners like Indians for chop the whole money clean mouth, come pay our graduates employed with peanut.
Nigeria is a land of honey and milk. Na those in government God go punish for discouraging foreign investors from coming in through their selfish ends. Where I've stepped my feet into, none of our leaders' children had had the opportunity to reach, in their entire life. I've been with Barak Obama, courtesy my profession in DAR Hall( Daughters of American Revolution Hall) near the white House in DC.
Do we have challenges? Yes, we do. Are they surmoutable? Yes they are. Buhari can't be in government forever. If pool comes to shove, we break up and we bear our fathers' names . We can still work together as neighbours in areas where each has a comparative advantage. I have a friend who had his masters and PhD in a university in NC, where he lives. Recently, I saw him posting tokunbo cars on his status for sale...an associate Prof selling used cars...what a life! Back home he'd be an oga in one of our universities where his service would be appreciated. Nice post. |

[quote author= post=103507504]Update From . COM
A Cameroonian Facebook user, Ayisha Togina, has shared the story of 16-year-old twin sisters who are pregnant for same boy, Reports.
According to Ms Togina, Who Notified On Facebook, Said The pregnant teenagers and their father live in abject poverty and have resorted to sleeping with men in the suburbs of Buea in order to feed.
Read Her Post As Obtained By Below;
Meet this family of three. A struggling father providing for his almost due pregnant daughters in the suburbs of Buea.
Theirs is not a beautiful story but an example of the reality of life especially in crisis stricken English Cameroon.
This family lived at Tole where both sisters (16 years old) were impregnated by the same boy of their age in their local community just before the armed crisis forced them to move to Muea where they stayed with their dad’s friend who breaks stones for gravel.
They had to leave yet again this time because of sexual harassment from their dad’s friend. Still pregnant they relocated to a community far behind Sandpit (Likoko) where they stay in a rotting plank house with no doors or windows.
They sleep on a single mattress placed on the floor without a carpet and no blankets or extra bed sheets. Their house is surrounded by a bush, a breeding ground for mosquitoes and a habitat for other dangerous animals animals and insects
Their toilet, accessible by a bush path has no roof but a single hole made in the cement serving as the floor. The slimy, shaky cement has been covered by algae and and branches and leaves of the trees surrounding it. For privacy there are two mud stained bed-sheets hanging at the entrance to the 3 block walled toilet with many holes.
This family pays rents of 5,000 FCFA monthly to stay in that house, they don’t even feed regularly because their father can’t find odd jobs daily.
A truth exploited by the local men in the area leading these vulnerable pregnant girls to bed which they accept in-order to feed.
Wonder how we met them? We met this pregnant girls when they came to the Solidarity Hospital Buea. We got their address and hired a car to their community to witness their living conditions and provide some basic materials. With their permission we took this photos and videos to share their story to the world.
Their story is one of the realities of Poverty, Dispute and the lives of IDPs. It shows us the vulnerability of poor girls and the damaging effects of lack of education.
Thank you for reading, we now call on the community, health organizations, female empowerment bodies, the government and people of good will to step in and assist this family. The Solidarity Hospital is taking care of their antenatal follow up but there is always a place for every helping hand in their lives.

jbreezy: So the story goes like, my gf and I have been dating for 2 years now. I really love her cos she's so interesting, extremely caring and so good to me. She's a pretty one too. So I finished school ahead of her (We were in same school).
But we couldn't let each other go because we already love each other, so we continued the romance. I loved her after and I really gat plans to marry her even though I'm like 5 years older than her. I was going to wait till she finishes school (She was in 200 level when I left). So I went to visit her in school and out of curiosity, I checked her whatsapp chat...I read her chat with her very close friend (the best place to find the truth) Well well well...There was this gist about her having sex with a friend. Then another was about her trying to date a guy..It really broke me, but till today, I haven't challenged her...
Actually, I would have broken up if I dont love her up to this level cos I hate it when I'm being cheated on... But I don't think I'm ready to lose the girl..
So I met a very pretty lady lately... We've been talking and she's really been giving me all the greenlight a normal guy needs to see... This one is more mature (I felt like my gf is still probably at what y'all call the hoeing stage cos she's 21)... So I've been contemplating on leaving her for this one, by bringing up the cheating part (something like a chess game)...
Seriously, I still think I love her, and would have married her if she didn't do that... So I'm lost between challenging her and giving her another chance (cos she's going to obviously beg) or challenge her to leave her...Thanks and sorry for the long essay Why wait until you learn the hard way before leaving her? You've got a soft landing and you are still contemplating? Please leave her alone and move on with your life. |

Ashirioluwa: After using at least 5 years to obtained HND (Banking and Finance) certificate now you are planning to sign up for another 3 years for Bsc (Accounting) certificate.
Going back to school for economics or accounting at Bsc degree level is a waste of time. We all know Nigerian school system. If you really want to study then sign up for Professional course like ICAN or the ACCA.
Or you should look abroad if you really have the time and cash. Going back for a BSc is not a waste of time please, investing 2 years of your life in this course is well worth it. The discrimination between an HND and a BSc would always rears its ugly head, whether in the foreseeable or distant future. |
Career › Re: B.sc In Economics Or Accounting.please Advice by Yoighaman(m): 12:12am On Jul 08, 2021 |
mrrandomguy: Make enquiries from schools or Canadian studies agencies if it is possible for him to gain admission for MBA in Canada with HND. If this is not possible, let him do BSc (conversion), it will not take more than two years. He should write any professional exam during his programme (he may or may not become chartered in this 2 years of course), after which he can go to Canada for any programme.
You mean PGD in Economics, no school will admit you to MSc Economics with a PGD in Accounting. Even with a PGD in Economics, admission to MSc Economics can be difficult, because schools often require that applicants with PGD should have a very high graduation grade. However, the PGD route is a good option, even to Canada. I give it to you... You sound very much like an authority and highly knowledgeable in these fields. Thanks for sharing your perspective which I concur with 100% (except of course, where you said ICAN is useless). More power to your elbow. @OP, Please listen to this poster, the answers to all your questions lie with him or her. Cheers. |
