The evil going on in Nigeria is so much that it's difficult to trust anyone especially in situations like this, we have seen betrayals coming from friends, husbands, wives, close relatives etc. and as a result I might not really blame the parents of the girl for locking them up; what I however abhor is their refusal to apologize to them in spite of finding their daughter in a safe and healthy condition. A simple apology would go a long way.
slyfoxxjoe: This comment you just made. I want you to think it well. Meditate over it for a few minutes then tell me if it really makes any sense to you.
They are solving national problems because we are shouting up NEPA? If they were solving our problems there will be no need to shout up NEPA. because we would always have power.

Let me help him out.
The politicians are 'creating' problems while their croonies are busy 'solving' them via businesses. You see, it's a vicious cycle that was created intentionally, they all make money in the process while the masses keep hailing and praying for them when they buy Ferraris', Bentleys, Lamborghinis and Porsches for their sons and daughters....any which way, sha hustle but stay legit....you can make legit money illegimately or illegit money legitimately, the choice of yours but please stay legit always...
I don't support fraud but sometimes I don't blame Hush Puppi, Woodberry and the likes....I will edit this post to explain later...hustle, if your father cannot do this for you, hustle and do it for yourself... I'll be back....
It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.
As a child I have been really dreamt of studying med/surgery, but I ended up with biochemistry and proceeded with an M.Sc but every night my heart keep panting reminding me that I have a role to play in the health sector than being a mere biochemist without significantly working in anyway related to heath. After all this trouble going through my heart I am definitely willing to return back to the root and accomplish this dream. So help me God!
Ygrette: I beg to disagree. Nothing in this life is perfect, so is love. If a woman finds a good man who loves her.. that's all she needs. A good man who loves you will treat you right and will never cheat on you. He would place your needs above his. Loving him back is just a plus, not all that's required. If a woman is wise, she would respect that man with her life and learn to love him too. If she's waiting to find someone to love and who loves her in return, she may wait forever.
Even as you grow older, chances are that your priorities will change cos maturity will set in. By now you're thinking of having a responsible man who's financially stable cos love don't put food on the table. You're thinking about your kids (even though unborn) and how you want them to have a good life. You'd realise that getting a man with marriageable qualities is more important than your feelings.
If you have a man who loves you to the moon. A man who would have done anything for you. A proactive go-getter who sees nothing as a problem or challenge. A man who's ambitious, hardworking and honest, with the highest standards of integrity. A man who gives you open access to his phone and declared since you met that you were his wife...pls which kind of "loving him back'' are you looking for again.
If a woman is privileged to find this kind of rare specie of a man, she had better husband him. Respect him and love his family and most importantly, learn to love him.
Nice post but this category of guys are learning fast from the Red pillers, that's the reason why they would remain scarce, don't blame them, the bad girls caused it.
Can something be urgently done about this man's case before he lights up Nigeria? A walking time bomb. He is just waking up to react to a comment that was made in 2018?...and twisting events to cause an uproar? Sinister somebody.
Offpoint: 10 years after graduating and you can't find any problems on earth to solve with knowledge you acquired, then I'm afraid to say you're waste or you've wasted your time and resources.
Didn't even go to school, I read books upon books and find out to be rich you need to provide solutions to people problems.
I look around me, there was no problem... So I created one. As sharp Yoruba guy, I enter Yankee begin dey knack oyibo "Ata" (pepper) for my neighbourhood and still cure them.. Naso I take hammer.
People wey create virus na dem create anti-virus.
All these sickness wey full world now, wey dem lie to una sey na from animals... Na people create them to take cash out. Every sickness get permanent cure, but if them make permanent cure Na bad business for dem pharmaceutical companies, scientists and researchers... So dem give una temporal cure. Permanent cure means NO CASH OUT, temporal cure means STEADY CASH OUT.
To make money for this life na brain, nobi degree.
Smart AJ, he got their gimmick....the naija blood in him would always come to bear...no dulling, jagpa sharpaly...Asides not wanting them to use his name for publicity stunt, I particularly like his sense of brotherhood and loyalty to his fellow man- Mahrez, kudos to him....some other undisciplined folks would not give a fvck.
invinzible1: Because you really don't understand rap music. Lol go back and listen MI songs Start from Crowd Mentality down to Lion.... Don't forget to listen to illegal music 2 and 3. I really don't know the parameters you guys use in rating Jags above MI.
Some call the man 'lucky', I call this 'grace'. May we find favour, grace and mercy before God and man always, especially before those who are sent to obliterate us.
obembet: Most Nigerian guys believe that it's total scam for a Lady to have a male friend as bestie when they in serious relationship.
But the truth there is that most ladies prefer a male Friend as bestie because ladies believe that men are more secretive than ladies and its more easier to get good advice from a guys than Ladies.
So can you allow your girlfriend to have male friend as bestie?
I've had female besties, never crossed my mind to get dirty with any of them, I'm so close to one that I and her husband do business often, very correct guy, it doesn't even bother him, after all, if I had wanted to sleep with his wife, I would have done so before they got married, this is someone I'd known and had been friends with for about 9 years, so why separate two good friends all in the name of marriage, I was even instrumental in them sealing off the union....bottom line is trust on the husband's part and fear of God on the male bestie's side.
Juliearth: Blessed are you amongst other men to know your wife's true colours. Marry a woman that can support you through thick and thin... Is she handicapped? What is stopping her from setting up a small business to support you? That you didn't have the best childhood experience doesn't mean you should be a dunce and a fool for love.
You have a child with her, you can cater for that child's wellbeing, but that doesn't necessarily mean marrying the mother of that child, especially since she has shown traits that you cannot cope with. Work out an arrangement with her to go back to her parents' house. Your mother can cater for your daughter for the time being...
You also need to work on your cheerful giving spirit. You are not God, stop playing God in people's lives by trying to help them. Learn to hear from God before helping and you should also know that there is a factor called "the rainy day". If your savings culture was topnotch, you may not have resorted to taking loans to pay rent and other things... People take loans for investments and not to sort liabilities. There is a video by pastor Smart Adeyemi. Its on giving. I would implore you to look for that video and pay heed to the content.
Thanks for advising the OP.
@OP: We are here to always help each other in the little way we can, Nairaland is some sort of a big family you know.
So I painstakingly searched for the video based on this poster's advice and thought to share it with you. Please watch it and become a better person. Cheers my brother.
nams77: Why are u taking a load on you that's is not yet time for? Let her go back to her house while you send resources for your baby. Make sure every money you send for your child upkeep is via transfer from your account to your baby mama's. And enter a proper narration for each transfer. If it is for baby food, write baby food. Don't ever make the mistake of giving her physical cash or paying cash into her account. Always transfer. Knowing her type of person, she may brainwashed your daughter by telling her you didn't provide or cater for her while she was growing, but with a transfer, you can always print statement of account from your end to show as evidence of responsibility to a court and even to your daughter in future. Thank God you have not married her. You have just been shown a glimpse of things to come in the future. Life with her will be very miserable and frustrating for you. Let her go and think of how u can enlarge your coast while taking care of your daughter. This is an advice from a big bro. Ignore it at your own peril. Its well. I don't know what tribe she is from but having an unmarried woman in your house is quite dangerous. There are some tribes in Nigeria, if their daughter dies in the house of a man she is not married to, that man will smell and see hell. He will be made to marry the corpse and do all the marriage rites running into hundreds of thousand. A word they say is enuf for the wise.
Thanks for sharing bro.
@OP: Thread closed. This is the answer you have been searching for....again, ignore it at your own peril.
@OP: Take the bull by the horn, let her go, those kind of ladies are toxic, they don't see any good in a man that does not have lots of money....just ensure you do all within your means to take good care of your daughter.
Whitecoal711: Bye bye to Laliga Now officially a premier league and mancity fan Please friend and foe take note Please all premier league fan please welcome me with likes
RichDad1: He’s an entertainer. He was paid for his services. Nothing out of the ordinary.
So as an entertainer, if Shekau pays you to campaign for Boko Haram, you would do it?....Please let's leave excuses, we all made a mistake by electing this man, period....... but seriously, he took the right decision at that time, the GEJ government deserved to be kicked out.
The energy channelled towards BBNaija can be put to better use but Nigerians youths wouldn't just listen...there is power in unity, tyrants perfectly understand this, that's why they are quick to dislodge any form of build-up. God bless Nigeria.
