As far as am concerned, JOAT was d best album out last year. Calm down guys let me xplain b4 u devour me.
D problem he had was wit his brandin. He was projected as some kind of jay z instead of let's say kanye west which was wrong.
I bought d CD 3 times sef. First one got missing while the second one started skipping. Rarely do I listen to a 17track album and skip jus one or two songs. The level of attention paid to beat making was mind blowin.
Jargo was one of d most ingenious and original songs ever made. I still can't get over hw he fvkd wit the beats of pump it up and bend down low @ d terminal stages of d songs-awesome men!
And his choice and timing of videos was on point-
Pump it up first for d clubs; jargo to show d dept of his talent; and nobodi test me to crave credibility. This is how is usually done unlike other artists that release videos to old albums while we were expecting another album.

He raised d bar by doin a song wit snoop as such tremendously improvin his reputation as other international artists will take note of him. Even though sound sultan had done a song wit wyclef which was a beta collabo IMO. But let's take nothin frm dbanj as he tried, weldone.

All d controversy on d album success is solely in lagos I tell u cos I can authoritatively tell u dat every single tom dick and harry dat has a cd player in abuja, kano, kd and jos which are d major northern markets bought it. It was even scarce @ a point.
Also I get ur point, but if u r going to release an album u want everybody to relate to, some of ur fans will complain not being centre of attention tru-out.
As for me, its a very tight album and if d one in my car scratches even small, I go buy another one because I want interruption shikena!

It really hurts me to see how d superman franchise has struggled to keep pace wit other lesser known comic xters.
In d first era of comic book adaptations, it was seen as a major gamble as such only superman and batman were explored to reasonable success. And superman movies made a star out of d late reeves.
Then came the second era which was ushered in by spiderman, all of a sudden hollywood plundered d comic book world due to spidey's succeess.
Batman was rebooted and has now given us d best ever adaptation with d release of dark knight. Even d lesser known ironman movie is rated only second to darknight.
X-men which was a harder project due to its numerous xters still managed to pull it off superbly and even spun off successfull sequels.
While d first hulk movie dissapointed, d sequel went a long way in rectifying it.
So now bak to my question, wats wrong wit superman? I was so excited to when superman returns was released but was dissapointed wen I saw it. Now superman has now turned into a risk that movie makers don't know how to handle.
Superman returns in my opinion was averagely successful simply due to its devout fanbase. D only thin they got right was casting brandon routh. He was perfect for d role and I hope they retain him for any further sequel or reboot. Aprt from dat , d movie was uninspiring.

For me its definitely Mi again cos beef has more class than finish u boy.    There are two very important facts that determine who win a battle , they are public perception, and career status. And with this current round of sparin, its KH that is in trouble. Let me xplain.
When cannibus went after LL, 2nd ronund knock out was widely hailed as one of d best diss songs ever but on d long run LL won cos d boys career nose dived as his sales put a nail to his coffin. Now d public perception was y shud this upcomer disrespect a legend. LL responded that time wit diss songs dat weren't as popular but won not because of metaphors and bars on his response but cos of career outcome(sales) and public perception.
Then came nas vs jigga. Jigga had already peaked career wise so d beef didn't harm his career sales wise BUT it ressurected Nas' career cos then again jigga was seen as insensitive and callous to go after Nas for no reason when Nas was nursing his dying mother. Nas won cos not only was ether a great diss track, it reinforced his status as a legend cos illmatic sold like mad and subsequent album God son was a hit. Wats d point again, its ur career status which is determined by public perception that determines who wins.
Mi is intelligent cos he doesn't want to release a full lenght track to diss cos his goal is to emphasize his class while rubbing d dirt off his shoulder. Mi intelligently used some lines in d first verse and last verse on d track to preach a moral story of hard work against jealously which appeals to most pple, as such will give it more airplay and acceptance despite jabbin KH earlier. But KH's reply is a song dat wud interest u @ first but later wear off cos of its lack of class.
Now d public perception is KH is a troublesome ambassador for 419(maga don pay), one hit wonder who attacked mohits, ccouldnt keep a contract wit kenni's and is now jealous of other pple's success. Dat's bad for his image and I doubt if d minority support he has on nairaland will translate to commercial  success which will determine whether u win a battle or not.
I was in abuja earlier when KH,s track was played and most ppl called in to ask I quote, wat is wrong wit dat boy. Some even went as far as sayin d radio station shudnt play it again.
Beef is beta, cos its more playable. All KH,s fans will do is download his songs while Mi's fans will download and BUY cos off Public perception.
The only certified hit KH has is like play which for me was d song of d year for dat year, but I fear he is walking into a trap.
