I have a dream... Of a road where white colored cars would not be looked upon as being the favorites, where every car of every color, be they white, black, brown, or silver, would get to park in the same parking lot. |
playboy19: Abeg, enough with this same story line already. Isn't this the same storyline Alao Akala, GEJ and Theo Orji used during their election campaign?Yeah, they've all cried wolf, now when the real wolf shows up, no one will believe. I wonder how I'd make people believe? I guess my antecedence, and my character, would have to intercede for me. |
Lord_Reed: LoL! No mind the guy, like say e get wetin Nairaland dey gain from am before.lol, its all love men! @pic, its all good, I do a bit of graphic design, so I'm just used to resizing and cropping every image I get. |
honeric01: In only those that can be bribed get to rule presently.True! I remember a lecture I received from a professor that was once a member of the senate (not Nigerian senate). He said, lobbyist would fly him in a helicopter, take him out to golf, offer him new rides and so on, all in a bid to get him to do some questionable things. He said he refused them (I was like yeah right, in my mind), but he was dead serious, and he appealed to all in the class to be bold, and stand up for what is right. We need so many good people like that at home to lead in Nigeria. |
duality: Every one has a price. It may not be money. there is always something that will make a mortal man weak. forget all those names some of them may not be bold to speak the blunt truth about some persons.Well, it all depends on weaknesses, for some it might be money, for others it might be women, and so forth. The key here is not to tempt one's self by holding a position which exposes you to your weaknesses, i.e, someone with a weakness for money being in charge of a treasury, or a man with a weakness for women being in charge of a girls college or dormitory, it just doesn't make sense. No man is perfect, yes! However let those without the weakness for money be in leadership positions. At worst they might have scandals in their personal lives, but when it comes to tax payers money, they'd be thinking like hardcore Engineers, Technocrats... when it comes to implementation of projects. |
I nominate myself, I might not have held leadership positions in terms of Governorship, but I was the Class Captain in primary school, and a damn good one. I love my people too much to want to steal from them, my joys should be yours as well, and your sorrows should be my sorrows too! |
phenor: I cannot be bribedMe neither, we should form our own party, what say you? |
@Lord_Reed, crop your second picture, its making the frontpage scroll horizontally. |
Lord_Reed: Bye bye, don't let the door hit you on your a$$ on the way out!Hahaha, Guy u wicked o, why u no wan convince am to stay? |
When I see a girl pushing a whip like this, it makes me think twice about approaching, I always have to reformulate my approach strategy. I approach none the less though, because YOLO! #BigCojones

The wool is still in the eyes of a few, the Sheep are lost, as the Shepard is too corrupt to care. When a man is hungry, dry bread will seem like filet mignon to his hungry stomach. My country really is in disarray, God please deliver us. How can some see N20,000 wages a month, and a year derailment, for no "important" reason, as a blessing? |
ekkywolex: Yorkshire master, I called ur not picking, I need the ipad, where are u.? Contact me ekkywolex@yahoo.comIt's steal available btw, the deal I had with a potential buyer fell threw, so it's up for grabs. |
pek: I won't bother replying your trash or try to school you on the importance of the scheme. But note, it is Israel and not Isreal! My dear friend, please tell me what the benefits are? I hear you can't even go for masters in Nigeria without the NYSC. I'm not even trying to fight nobody today, if you want to calmly state the advantages of the NYSC to Nigerian youths, then let's discuss. |
Afam4eva: I don dey pity the guy. I think next time, he should make it a little bit cheaper. If you noticed there were more people at the back(regular) sit than the front. So, it's obvious it's because of the exorbitant price.I'm sure he's learned a bit from that experience, even if it means limiting VIP seats to just a few, while increasing the number of cheaper seats. @ His response, U gotta love the attitude though, what's he suppose to do, start worrying? Nothing was ever gained by worrying. |
I need two of these before Christmas. Boys for my side dey form flousing with iPhone 5, galaxy s4, even techno. Dem dey form checking weather, even though rain never fall since. Just wait till I show up with my i-Man, shut the whole block down. "I-man bia, biko, go bring my small stout from the fridge." |
bionicdude: u can exchange kisses d way d italians do eduson33: kiss NaijNews: kissing and HuggingNawa o! See as una wan kiss everybody sha, for una mind, na only women una go dey great. So how una go come great guys na? |
odizeey: Is dis in d front page? I can't believe dis. Baba God noniHaha, God is good! |
Ogbeche77: This dude wants to pay lecturers with proceeds from rag rallies, how much does he think an average PhD holder earns in a federal university.. I need some of that weeds Comrade Adediwura IsmaeelYou can't fault him for proffering solutions though. I, for one, commend them for at least trying to think outside the box in seeking a resolution to the ASUU problem. |
snika: And suddenly, one ediot quotes the whole post just to comment three words.(I pray it won't happen in this thread)Why u putting ideas in people's heads? |
List is too long In the words of Dave Chappelle: "Just make Him a sandwich, sck his ___, play with his ballllls, and don't talk too much" Abeg, no be me talk am ooo! |
NYSC Scheme should be burnt in the deepest, darkest, hottest part of hell. Please don't mention Isreal, cause we all know they are under threat, so they need mandatory military training, sorta like drafting. What other country of note, has a scheme deliberately designed to impede professional growth? All for what? So we can love each other? F.o.c.k outta here! |
Afam4eva: I threw his wife off in the spur of the moment. Maybe if he had the time to calm down, he wouldn't but his love for football and the overbearing nature of his wife led him to commit the abominable.Lol, not to worry, the guy will have eons to calm down in a prison cell. |
Afam4eva: The football one is the most true. I remember a husband who threw his wife off a 4 storey building because his wife stood in front of the TV preventing him to watch his favorite team play. Any man you cannot change before marriage, don't try to change after marriage or else, you'll have yourself to blame. There are some crazy peeps in this world. I'm sure after he threw his wife off, he must have also thrown his tv outside too, out of frustration of his team loosing, followed by himself. |
4clique: If he is a couch potato you probably cannot change him. A couch potato is a person who spends much time sitting or lying down usually watching television or reading. In other words a couch potato is a lazy person. He may not want to do anything else after work or during weekends but just lay on the settee and surf channels or chat with his online friends .Getting him to get up to get some certain things done will always be an uphill task. There will always be lots of friction between the two of you from conflict of interest especially if you are choleric and like getting a lot of things done. The best you can do is to join him on some days you have less to do and just stay around doing nothing but eat snacks and watch television as a bribe for him to join you in something else more interesting to you.Reminds me of the 'Break Up' movie with Jennifer Anniston and Vince Vaughn. Jeniffer tells Vince, "I want you to want to do the dishes" Dudes like "why would I want to do the dishes" |
ekkywolex: ither than the wifi, is it working well, are the accessories; i.e chargers ok. if they are am interestedYep, charger working fine. PM me if ur interested. |
Blame it on the Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ASUU! Blame it on the ah, ah, aa.... She said she usually don't, but I know that she front. |
On the real though, which kin operation be that? Even Operation Desert storm, them no carry that kin flashy bulletproof. Anyway, she's done an above average job so far, it's just unfortunate that this happened. |
All this cassava sef, I still never chop that bread. Abeg someone tell me how cassava bread taste. |
macklef: bro am not talkin bout u o, if d wifi module is bad as u said, den how can 1 tether with it?Oh sorry, my bad! Well I said earlier that I was quoted 15k to fix it at apple shop in Lekki, and am sure there are also some DIY guys here. I was expecting that whoever buys it will repair the wifi. |
Nigellus_Hosan: GoddammitHow person wan take squeeze banana na? |
freecocoa: Story.lol, cocoabutter, help me tell them say Sperm no dey finish. |
macklef: So whats d use of d fone nw, it cant even make n receive calls. Only a show off niccur will wanna buy dis,Well its to get it fixed, and as to why apple would only make a wifi device, you have to direct your question to apple customer support. I am using my new ipad without 3g, I only use wifi on that, so I really don't understand where you're coming from. |
