I trust everyone is keeping good and staying safe at this moment in time.
It my first time posting here although have been a regular follower of this great thread.
I need technical support on a project we're trying to design for a client. However, the Professor who happens to be an Electrical engineer is way too busy for us to sit down and make a realistic design for the client.
In view of the above predicament, we're approaching the deadline for submission which happens to be tomorrow.
We're to design a solar back up system for a supermarket cooling system.
Based on our load analysis, 600,000KVA Inverter System is required, so we break it down to 60,000KVA x 10 Inverters.
Regarding solar panel, we decided to utilize 400W x 1500panels = 600,000W
To save cost, the Professor is of the view that we should do away with batteries. Hence, we are to deploy 300KVA transformer and 300KVA Perkins Generator.
However, new ideas are welcome on the best realistic design, installation and maintenance.
Feedback did be appreciated.
I await response.

ojeysky: My brother there is no turning back o....but my next upgrade should be the last for a long time before madam go vex with these my lithium expenses
Hahaha na so we dey talk till we decide to test more things. This stuff is very intoxicating.
ojeysky: That's X3 your array.... that's cool. It also gives me good confirmation that my 7 to 8kwh+ yield on a 2.5kw array is not bad one for a "non premium" gear, will do a proper stress test after my bank upgrade, but men bros you dey use power o
ojeysky: Lol.....I built the dashboard so yes each value communicates to me, I shared it so you see the 170AH discharge at battery voltage of 25.2v
Certainly a good buy and meets the specification. Though I think it's sold at 500k now....if you are interested, mine will be available for sale in near future (when I get to do my planned upgrade)
Ojesky the man.this guy keeps falling in love with lithium. This your marriage strong o
NiyiOmoIyunade: This is why I am hesitant about trying brands with no local presence or service center.
With most of these transformerless hybrids, you are looking at a board change if anything breaks and the board can usually only be sourced from manufacturer/seller who sends it in from abroad.
Either I buy the equipment + spare board on hand or buy 2 units of the inverter against the rainy day.
Exactly, although full off-grid users tend to enjoy the most benefit from the fragile hybrids. No phcn high voltage or low voltage wahala. One of My client has been running off-grid 9kw pv with a 5kva axpert almost clocking it's 4th year with no inverter damage for once. I also integrated a vill power to handle the heavy loads when needed. Both have been running smoothly. I only retired the vil power and changed to victron this year as a kind of partial upgrade.
chris81964: Work we did in Aba. Last one we did before this was in 2014. We have come a long way since. Some of you like to copy and claim other peoples work. You know who you are.
Miracle7998: Brethren this is the reason I always tell people to always be on alert and be vigilant so that you will know what kind of things the enemy brings to your house, this is a bat that the enemy sent to my home this night around 10:40 pm and glory be to God we killed it.
You have to stand and fight your enemies we are in the last days
StagethemTVee: Many people are feared dead in a Salah Day Boat Mishap At Apapa. Rescue operations are ongoing. The death toll as at time of reporting was 19.
It's a willing buyer, willing seller situation - You either accept or you reject the offer. It's not be force!
When you go for a job interview and they ask you the minimum amount you will accept for the role you might quote 300K per month but meanwhile another person who also came for the same job will be willing to accept a minimum of 700K. Are you going to say he is corrupt just cos he asked for a higher amount?
Pricing is largely a function of the value you place on yourself or your services.
Lol you spoke well. What you don't understand is this. There are different type of jobs, You can't get a job as a sales girl or boy in a retail shop and ask for 300k when the whole goods in the shop is not up to 500k. Who will collect 500k and make over 600k in a month. If there is such deal then the person is surely not gonna be looking for mere 500k lol.
mrLhanray: Corrupt in the sense that these VAR officials disallowed a clear Liverpool goal against Aston-Villa, Watford and allowed that Brighton goal to stand when Liverpool were still fixing the walls by a keeper that just entered the pitch, or the foul on origi against Man'utd. I hope this is what you mean right
He won't see this. Don't waste your time. He claims Silva's handball is not a foul but when mane chested a ball that slightly touched his arm and scored, goal was disallowed for touching his arm.
Adjovi: Did you even watch the video yourself. If the ball didn't hit silver in his hand then it would have been a penalty but the ball hit solvers hand so automatically it cancels any possibility of the penalty. That's why the pundits said, but as usual anything that favours your opinion. Cry me a River. Liverpool were better than all the teams in the league this season.
Don't mind him, he just wants to believe it's a pk cos of his hatred for Liverpool.
TheGoodJoe: The answer is in the first few minutes of the video. Watch and elucidate yourself on why the call of the referee was clearly biased in favour of Liverpool. Note, Crouch in the studio is a former Liverpool player.
I don't need the video,it's your opinion I need. All I want is a yes or no.
TheGoodJoe: It was a clear penalty and if the officials wanted to overlook it, they shojld have cancelled fabinho's goal because Arnold's handball led to a goal.
The var officials were bias and clearly aiding Liverpool all season.
paulolee: have said it countless times...we enjoy football the more without VAR than now that its introducced because the regular stops and the search for perfection do make football boring to watch especially for the non fans... we all know that LiVARpool and man.u were assited by var but am surprised seeing that wolves are one of the biggest losers to VAR.. am not surprised at city because i do tink that VAR maybe cursed by pep ex girlfriend because it never seems to favor city.. the biggest hit was that city vs Tottenham ucl knockout clash that pep was left heartbroken after his crazy celebration for that badly needed sterling goal, only for var to notice that aguero was a bit offside and the same var didnt see llorente handball goal....that's life... ***modified** for liVARpool fans calling me a hater and saying VAR didnt assist them to win the league with such a wide margin.. here is my point, that wide margin is as a result of the nov fixture dt city lost to Anfield after VAR denied them a penalty in the 5th minute on a clear handball on Arnold and 5sec leta fabinho scored dt cracker.. city were broken and didnt see themselves catching up with that 8 points lead because of the that bias VAR in anfield.. Livarpool may still endup winning the league because they were more determined than city but i dont think it would be this easy with such a wide margin.. my opinion
Why do you say handball by Arnold. The ball hit the hand of a city player 1st and changed the direction the ball before hitting Arnold. Why are you guys blind to see that. Is it hatred that's clouding your vision.
etokhana: The @FMWHNIG has closed down a 200-meter portion of the Marine bridge at Apapa for 8 months. The closure is to allow the Ministry carry out emergency repairs on the bridge, in other to provide a better transportation system for the resident of the state.
lexy2014: So y can't Niger Deltans riot now that they are in Nigeria? How many supporters does Akpabio have that will lead to reprisal attacks? Y have Niger Deltans not directed their anger to their local govt chairmen, governors& legislators? Is Akpabio not supposed to be representing Niger Delta? Y cant Niger Deltans not direct their anger towards him?
Nigerians are docile, we keep saying the north are docile and uneducated. The fact is we are all the same thing, all of us are docile. See politicians playing theatrics with our future and we can't do shit.
omenka: I have been saying it and will continue to say it. We have become so clanish in this country that the strength of our revolt or revulsion for a perceived wrongdoing is predicated on the identity of its perpetrator.
It is okay if "one of our own" is the snag to our progress and not okay if an outsider is, notwithstanding the fact that both would exert exactly the same hinderance to our collective success.
That is Nigeria for you and that is the reason why there is no uproar in the Niger Delta over the revelations of monumental malfeasance in the body. Of course the reactions would have been different if someone from the North was the one heading the body. Perhaps the militants would have been blowing up pipelines by now.
Nigeria is in a really sorry state.
@ bolded is a major problem in this country, and I wonder if it's right to call ourselves literates. We keep mute as far as the person stealing our children's future is from a particular tribe of ours. We stink.our mind stinks.
