But WHY do you have to be in their land IN THE FIRST PLACE?

What is wrong with your land?

The minute the civil war ended, you all packed your bags and went back to the north. Back to the west. I just don't get it!. You say you want your country, yet you can't stay there. You only stay there when other people drive you from their land.
Of course I have to be in their land, they are the ones who decided I will not have my own place. So where do you want me to go? Grant me my independence let me go home, they said no! Ok, let us live equitably as Nigerians with me in in full control of my resources, political and economic life, and true federalism, they said no! Even when we went home home in 1967 and faced Biafra, they still said no!

Haba! When the ground and the sky are taken away, where will I be?

It is not possible to take away ones home andat the same time, ask the person why they are me not in their home, that is just silly.

Ipods lives does not matter.

Secessionists lives does not matter

Hate mongering and hate preaching - Our Dilector life does not matter.
Oh really, if you really feel that way, why havent you called out Lugard who massacred your ancestors in other to make them Nigerians? Instead, you not only endorced the genocide Lugard brought to west Africa, you even claimed the country he created, "Nigeria", as your country. Did you seek Lord Lugards permission before claiming the country he created as your own? Of course not. But you are surprised when Biafrans claim the country they created as their own.

No wonder Fela called some people 'zombie'

OP, all lives matter. Biafra is not just about Igbos and there maybe non Igbos who were killed by the Nigerian security forces today. However, the killings in Portharcourt today serves as a reminder to all those who believe in self determination, right of choice and freedom that Nigeria is not a place to be proud of if you believe in any of the 3 inalinable beliefs.

Mtcheew....
TRUMP must hear this...
While your going to tell him, also remind him that Lord Lugard killed many people to create Nigeria. Nigeria only started from where Lugard stopped and has become far more successsful than Lugard could have dreamt of.

Hmmmmmmm.......... the beauty if 'one Nigeria' is indeed special

You guys like comparing apples to oranges? Who is protesting in america because Jonathan lost an election or buhari won an election in Nigeria
Show me the American city where a rally was organised for the victory in another country election.
Funny question you asked there but you do know that many people protested in Washington today against the inaugration of Trump? Some of it was violent.

People protest all the time for different reasons such as the election of Donald Trump, Biafra, increase in petroleum prices, hardship etc.

The difference in the protests in America and Nigeria is that America places premium on human life and cannot shoot its citizens unless left with no choice . In Nigeria, shooting is first choice

report has it that the solidarity march turned into breakdwn of law and order hence the use of force on them. Am totally against police brutality but when this brutality is as a result of an impending chaos and lawlessness, i will say that sanity must prevail and law and order must be restored on our streets/states.
Thats where 'zombie' Nigerians get it wrong. If the security agents have to use force to prevent impending chaos, must that use of force be shooting people? Cant the the use watee cannos? Tear gas? Shooting up in the air? Batons and other things that wont necessarily result in loss of life? Shooting should always be last resort. Will the Nigerian security forces prove that they had no other option but to shoot? Of course they wont. This sort of lawless Nigeria is what the Biafrans dont want to belong to. Donald Trump was inaugrated today, there was violence from many non Trump supporters. The security agents used tear gas, peper spray, water spray and other non life threathening ways of crowd control. So fatmr, no one has been killed and no guns fired.

If Nigeria is not yet advanced enough to move past 'shoot now ask questions later', then let it grant independence to others who have a more civilised outlook on life. Lord Lugard brought us all together, it does not mean we must all die together

RIP to lovers of freedom who lost their lives in Portharcourt today. It is all testament to the British created bondage everyone calls "Nigeria" and the need to be free

i like your manner of approach, but you and i weren't there, so to adjudge the celebrations peaceful is something we can't be sure abt, esp frm the anticidents of such gathering. Secondly, the law states that, when you are to have a gathering of 10 or more ppl in a public place, the police should be informed ahead, but in this case, we both know that such law is mere music to IPOB fanatics ears, am by no means justifying the action of the police but we need to be sincere in some of our criticism atimes, we all know how volatile portharcourt has been in recent times. I hope you get my submission?
The anticidents of IPOB gatherings has always been loss of life at the hands of the Nigerian armed forces. We are yet to hear of any proven evidence that anyone has ever lost their life to IPOB. Yes we were not on the ground to know why the Armed forces had to shoot people, its true Rivers is a volatile state and this is where sentiments gives way to the rule of law. Right now on youtube, there are many videos of todays peaceful conduct by IPOB. I watched videos of them passing the streets in Porthacourt and no one was harrased by them. There were also videos of those who were shot, wounded and killed. Many survivirs stated that the armed forces opend fire on them with no provocation.

So if the Nigerian security forces felt that things had got so bad that they had to open fire on the very people they are paid to protect, dont you think they need to explain why?

Nigerians need to start asking what it is will make an armed force member open fire on an unarmed person.

Why does Ipods like disgracing Igbo nation like this?

That was how they lied that UN invited them.

That how they lied about opening hours embassy in Spain.

That was how they lied about UK and Russia attacking Nigeria because of one useless basket mouth in the zoological garden of Kuje prison.

That was how they lied with their passport that cannot even get them to Sambisa Forest.

that was how they lied about their imaginary Biafran Airline that intend using to ferry gullible ones among them to the world beyond.
Why do Nigerians like disgracing the nation of self determination like this?

Thats how they lied that Lord Lugard made us all Nigerians without asking the different ethnic groups if Lugard was right.

Thats how they lied that there is anything called 'one Nigeria'

Thats how they support enforced union of people against their will

Nigeria killed some people today, in Port Harcourt, really??
Are you surprised? Its not today it started. Nigeria killed more than 3 of my fellow Igbos from 1967 to 1970 in the name of 'one Nigeria'. Nigeria is quite good at killing people, they deserve several awards for this

Look at the massive crowd in Porthacourt. People felicitating with Donald Trump and celebrating Biafra and the right to self determination.

How many times can Nigerians say that they have seen a crowd of this size that came out with no monetary, religious or political inducement.

A man is far away in washington DC fulfilling his dream and aspiration to make his country great again, some dumb heads gathered in Rivers to disrupt the peace of their own country and state. What a disgrace. Guess they don't knw what is constitutionally called "unlawful gathering" wc the law of the land forbides. IPOB or Jews quote me at your own expense.
Is that the point on the ground? Even if IPOB were celebrating the reincarnation of Mahatma Ghandi, it is their business. The question is, why should the Armed forces open fire on unarmed people. Even if people are 'unlawfully gathared' , it is still not enough reason to kill unarmed people. An armed force is not supposed to open fire on civilians in a non combat situation unless there is a clear and present danger. If they my breach this law, it becomes murder.

Then the should drive us away. Im not fighting for their land with them, Im seeking my own country. If they dont want us, we go back home. Its not like we havent done it before. In 1967, millions of Igbos went back home to face their new country of Biafra. It was N8geria that came down to rhe East to fight for 'one Nigeria'. These ipobs are fools. I always say this. Very backward people. "rallying support for trump". Does trump know you? Does he care about your father? No sense of pride. No shame. Nothing.
Does Trump even know more than a fraction of his supporters who voted for him?

Nigerians dont seem to understand what this is all about. Trump is a man who supports self determination just like Biafrans, thats why Biafrans celebrate Trump. Nobody is saying that Trump will do anything for Biafra, Biafrans are simply celevrating the fact that the most powerful man in the world is a great supporter of self determination. Why is this so hard for Nigerians to understand? I remember when Mandela was sworn in, people all over the world celebrates what he represented.
