franchizy:I think you should ask your mother about your true paternity because no true Igbo man would ever ask his people remain slaves in Nigeria rather than seek their own country and freedom |
Right in heart of Ijawland. Very nice!! |
Kirigidi:So you don't know the difference between 'imposed' and 'borrowed'? Doesn't matter if Biafra used to be in Timbuktu. The important thing is that it is a name we Igbos have freely adopted as our home country. Unlike you Nigerians who had to accept "Nigeria" at gun point by Lugard. |
MrOrioye:You were born a Nigerian? Really? The only reason you are a Nigerian is because Lord Lugard came to West Africa to give you that name. If Lord Lugard had not come, what would you have been born as? You would have been born as a "west African waiting for Lord Lugard to come give him a name" ![]() A lot of Africans like you have slave mentality. You can't use your brain to understand that it is your right to decide your destiny. A white came and gave you Nigeria and a Nigerian you must be? Can you go to the White mans land to give him his own country without him hanging you? You're not ashamed of your self that the White man came from Europe to come tell you who you are and bastardise your ancestors with the name 'Nigeria'? That's why you Nigerians can never understand Biafra or the desire of a people to be free to create their own country. Biafra is not about the Chukwudi doing business in Kano, the Emeka in Lagos, the Chike with mansions in Abuja or the Anayo prospering in London. These are foreign lands that got nothing to do with us. Biafra is about Biafra land and those who live in it. When we get Biafra, it will be up to Chukwudi, Emeka,Chike and Anayo to return home or face the music of whatever happens to them and their investment. And if they love their investments more than they love their own homeland, then that's their business. Cure your self from mental and colonial slavery |
This is just a Biafran who wished that certain cities in Nigeria will be bombed by Boko Haram and nothing more. There are a lot of Biafrans who don't wish Nigeria well on social networking sites anyway. Who in their right minds would go to announce where they intend to bomb? The fact that Chima Okoros prayers were answered doesn't mean he had any direct involvement in the bombing. |
adedayourt:If I had the power, I would get all my fellow Igbos out of Nothern Nigeria this very day and declare Biafra. How can anyone tell me that people who are capable of this sort of madness are my brothers? What made us one? Lord Lugard? How can any right thinking SS/SE person see this picture and still believe in "one Nigeria"? Now the world will see this and think this represents Nigeria. The sooner we disassociate our selves from these crazy people from the north, the better for us |
GMan650:Im not sure Internet has reached the North yet and even if it has, I'm not sure they would know how to use it. I hope the demolition of Ladipo might galvanise some of my Igbo brothers to head back home with their investment. Nnewi needs them. I want us all to one day leave Lagos for the Yorubas, if they are eating it let them eat it.......... But not until we get Biafra |
The fulanis are the only the only non security outfit I have ever seen brandishing AK47 assault rifles publicly. No one dares challenge them and I mean no one. For the Fulanis, southern Nigeria is their grazing ground and they feel they can do what they like because of born to rule mentality. Usman Danfodio made them believe that Nigeria is their property. The Fulanis actually have enough weapons in southern Nigeria to start a war. One of the reasons why I support Biafra is because it is the only way to get Fulanis out of the East |
Im an Igbo man and a proud one too. The term "Nigerian" is an illegal identity foisted on us all by the British and enforced by the guns of Lord Lugard. While I don't begrudge anyone who embraces this British identity, I do have an axe to grind with any Igbo who places this foreign identity above the identity of his forefathers. How can any Igbo man say he is 'first a Nigerian' before being Igbo? Sounds fishy to me. What was this Igbo man before the British came? What would he have been if the British had never come? My late Grandfather was born in 1902. He told me before he died that he did not know he had been made a Nigerian until 1920. I believe that if we Igbos are to assume any national identity, it must be the one we choose for our selves and not the one the White man gave us. I accepted the Biafran identity, nobody forced it on me. |
Oh yeah!I forgot that Nigerians celebrate their independence on 1st of October. As an Igbo man and Biafra, my independence day is the 30th of May Godbless Biafra |
The 1st of October for me is the day that Nigeria began its disastrous experiment of finding out if the various ethnic groups that Lord Lugard "forced together" could live together as one. 55 years later, one civil war, millions killed and a failed economy, there is nothing to celebrate. We are not one, we are not United and we certainly are not a nation. Nigeria is just a 'gangland' where various ethnicities that were forced into an unholy union By the British imperialists now fight for supremacy. Nigeria is undoubtedly a failed state. There is nothing to celebrate except our colonial mentality and mediocrity. This artificial creation of the White man called Nigeria has outlived its usefulness and it is time to dissolve it so that everyone can go and chart their own course best they know how. We cannot keep living this nightmare Lugard imposed on us. Proudly Igbo Proudly Biafran |
For us Igbos, everything up in the north is "Hausa-Fulani" and they are the enemy. I wouldn't know the difference between a Kanuri or Jukun man, they are all 'Hausas' as far as I'm concerned. The fact that there are native Christians in the North is an eye opener. I was told that South Kaduna is predominantly Christian but I don't believe this, not even for one second, unless South Kaduna is heavily populated by my fellow Igbos. I don't believe there is any such thing as an Hausa-Christian same way it is almost unheard of, an Igbo-Muslim. The very few times I have in northern Nigeria, I thought I was in Chad Republic |
Any South-East politician who joins APC has gone into political retirement because we as a people have rejected this party. There is noway Alex Otti will join APC after regaining his mandate, not if he does not want to become a hated figure |
Kastonkastroll:of course we shall keep collecting allocation until the day Biafra is declared. How can we be part of the 'tax payers' in Nigeria and not collect our allocation? Of course we would love a peaceful and gradual disengagement just like Catalonia. But unfortunately, Spain is a civilised country while Nigeria is not. |
Kastonkastroll:well you better start looking beyond Nairaland because the agitation for Biafra has become a global movement. It's out everywhere, Facebook,Twitter and of course the UN. Watch the video below of Aba a few months ago and tell me what you think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWyq7PWrs8I |

princdebola201:When you have time, watch the video below of Nnamdi Kanu on the 30th of May this year in Aba and the crowd then tell me if you still think Biafra is just an online thing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWyq7PWrs8I |
This doesn't look online to me

TimothyNkenu:Nigeria is an artificial creation of the White man, it is by extension, not African. The quest for Biafra is born out of the injustice called Nigeria. Lest we forget, Nigeria was created for the benefit of the White man and not for the benefit of us indigenous Africans. I'm an Igbo man, Lord Lugard cannot come from nowhere to tell me that the Yoruba and Hausa man are my brothers and that we are all Nigerians. It is illegal to impose an identity on a person without consent, thus, Nigeria is an act of illegality. When it comes to South-Sudan, they may have internal strife but it will only make them stronger and more united in the long run. They have achieved sovereinghty and independence and this is praiseworthy despite the challenges they face. The problem here is not radio Biafra or MASSOB or BZF. The problem is that Nigeria is not a nation by any stretch of the imagination. To be a nation, we all have to agree to be a nation, and those who do not agree should be allowed to exit. It is keeping people back against their will that is the problem. I support and believe in Biafra as an Igbo man. I want other minorities like the Ijaws,Ogonis,Ibibio,Efiks etc to join us. But if any of these minorities say they prefare to be in Nigeria or to be on their own, I will support that as well because I know it is illegal to force anyone into Biafra against their will. The same cannot be said of Nigeria and Nigerians. Why are we forcing our selves to be together when we didn't even know each other 200 years ago? It makes no sense. A Nigerian is just a west African that Lord Lugard managed to force into colonial slavery and no one should be proud of this. It is time for us to go our different ways |
ezeagu:You are asking that question when you know that Nigeria is a country of over 300 languages? Congratulations to Catalonia as they continue their journey towards self determination. I hope Biafra follows suit and we Igbos along with the minorities who have fellowship with us go the same way and we peacefully leave Nigeria without a shot fired |
Kagawa10:Your just one of the many Nigerians who doesn't know anything about the 1966-70 era. All you know is just half truths. I've read more than 30 books about the war. When you get to that level of education, come back and discuss with me |
martineverest:Sorry but Igboland is not landlocked, only people who don't know where Igboland starts or stops. As for this assumption that that 85% of Nigerias revenue comes from the SW and SS. There is nothing exceptional in the SW except Lagos of which Igbos make up close to half of the population. In the SS, when you add up SS Igbos and Igboid groups such as the Delta-Igbos,Rivers-Igbos,Ahoada-Igbos,Etche-Igbos,Ikwere-Igbos and so on, so the Igbo constitute a significant proportion of this so called artificial creation called South-South. If the Niger-Delta do not want to join Biafra, good, as long as they allow SS Igbos decide if they want to join there Igbo brothers in Biafra or not. For your information, all 5 Igbo States have Oil and Imo,Abia and Anambra are already oil producing and this is enough for us. As for Igbo industries outside Igboland, no amount of Igbo investment outside Igboland is worth Igbo sovereinghty. When Biafra comes, it might be even be a good thing for Igbos to relocate their investments back home to benefit their people |
Kagawa10:It must mean that you do not know that the civil war actually started when the Nigerian Army started shelling the town of Garkem the moved on to Ogoja and later, Nsukka.I don't know if you are just talking because you a morron or if you're just ignorant. Nigerian bombs were raining down in Ogoja and parts of Nsukka when Ojukwu decided to invade Nigeria and try to capture Lagos. The war was between Nigeria and Biafra, there was no such thing as any neutral territory. Remarkably, you do not want to say anything about the Aburi agreement and who broke it. You can't because it would mean that you have to admit that Ojukwu was right to declare Biafra. B |
It doesn't matter what Isiguzoro thinks, he is entitled to his opinion. Ohaneze is not likely going to come out openly to support Biafra. This would put them in an awkward position with the Government. The only thing that matters is what the majority of Igbos want. Personally, I think any Igbo who supports our people staying in a country like Nigeria is a fool. We Igbos gain nothing in Nigeria but have all to look foward to in Biafra. Only a fool will throw away his sovereinghty and autonomy for no good reason. How can any Igbo man think he can have a better deal in Nigeria than he can have in his own country of Biafra? Incredible! |
I also want to tell the many people who say "Ojukwu started a war" is to remember that Ojukwu, despite being senior to Gowon, went to Ghana to sign a peace agreement with Gowon in front of the president of Ghana. They shook hands, ate from the same plate, toasted each other with champagne and Ojukwu pledged to serve under Gowon as long as Gowon kept to the agreement. Gowon broke the agreement which forced Ojukwu to declare Biafra |
