There are times it is wiser not to think aloud. In response to 'It is not possible to jail anyone in any democratic country for what they say, no matter if the person called for nuclear bomb.' Let me cite you an example, there was this radical Kenyan cleric called Makaburi who openly applauded the Westgate attack of September 2013 on live TV. Kenyan government kept quiet as they were still in the court against Makaburi for inciting and recruiting youths in the Northern and Coastal parts of the Country. Early April 2014, he was gunned down by a man in a fast moving motorcycle. Though the government did give the impression they were investigating his death but deep down everyone knew the government was responsible for the death. His people made noise that he was murdered because he spoke his mind and their were riots which had many of his acolytes roped into custody. Some never returned back home.
What has this long story got to do with charging people to court based on utterance?

Nigeria works Just fine
it's Nigerians who want it like that (from voting patterns)
70% porverty rate, massive unemployment, widespread corruption, infrastructural decay, tribalism, nepotism and economic stagnation.

This maybe your idea of 'working fine' as a Nigerian but as a Biafran, it is what I call 'complete disaster'

I salute our brave Biafran women for protesting for their freedom even though they know that Nigeria has stepped up its its uncivilised methods by shooting dead unarmed women as they did in Onitsha.

In 100 years as a country and 55 years of nationhood, Nigeria has turned out to be a tragedy. It doesn't take much to see that the country does not work. Therefore, it is time to do away with this British contraption and for us to go and administer our selves.

Funny Nigerians

Many Nigerians don't know the law. It is not possible to jail anyone in any democratic country for what they say, no matter if the person called for nuclear bomb. I challenge any Nigerian to show me where it says "talking is s crime" in the constitution. I challenge any a Nigerian to give me one example where a person was jailed in Nigeria for what they said. Just one example! So it doesn't matter what Kanu said, even if he said he is going to kill every Nigerian, he cannot be jailed for what he said. The only time a person can possibly be jailed for what they said is if the commited perjury under oath or if the leaked information under the official secret act. So anyone who is saying that Kanu should be jailed based on talking is wasting their time.
Politics › Re: Igbos Lets Forget Biafra Now Since The South South Has Declined To Join Us by zendy: 10:35pm On Dec 03, 2015
listen all of you. The term South-South is geopolitical term. It is not a people. The various ethnic groups that inhabit this geopolitical zone have a name. It must be insulting to call these 'South-South' as if this it is their ancestral name. who are the SE people? Do they include the Igala minorities in Anambra and Enugu state? This same SS people they are talking about has Igbo speaking who stretch from the Anioma people in Delta to 70% of Rivers state all the way to Portharcourt which is the land of the Ikwere Igbo speaking people. So who is South-South people? South-South is something invented by Abacha, it is not a name to call the more than 30 ethnic groups that live in the south of Nigeria.

All I see you do is drop those punchline they handed out to you. Your unpatrotic dispositions make no meaning. If you deny your Nigerian identity, who say you will not deny a Biafran identity ones you see another shinny promise of El Dorado.
The difference is that the Biafran identity is one I willinly chose for myself. The Nigerian identity is the one that was foisted on you and I. The only difference is that while you chose the slave identity if your white colonial masters, I rejected it. Nigeria isn't my country, it is a form of slavery I was born into.
Politics › Re: To All IPOB And Supporters Of The Biafran Cause. by zendy: 6:20pm On Dec 03, 2015
Why do you Nigerians think the Biafran protest is all about Kanu? The main reason for the protest is the desire to be free of the colonial entity called Nigeria. Biafra is much bigger than Kanu. If any form of protest should block a major roadway, it is the job of the police to use crowd control methods to clear the way for motorists and create an exclusion zone for the protesters to continue. That is the job of the police. But because Nigeria is not a civilised country, the police and army decided to shoot unarmed protesters
Politics › Re: Biafra:why Can't The Military Opt For Tear Gas Instead Of Lead Bullet E.t.c by zendy: 5:54pm On Dec 03, 2015
The reason that the Nigerian security would leave rubber bullets, teargas, water spray and other non life threatening methods is because Nigeria is not a civilised country. That's why the only method of crowd control the Nigerian police and Army know is to shoot unarmed protesters with live ammunition
Politics › Re: 10 Types Of People Who Agitates For Biafra by zendy: 5:47pm On Dec 03, 2015
Only one type of person agitates for Biafra.

"someone who doesn't have slave mentality"

OP, you said that some people are agitating for Biafra? This is quite good because Ibcan tell you that nobody agitated for Nigeria. Lugard just came from Britain to bastardise us all with that name. So I have to say that Biafra is much better to have had agitators.

Let's be sincere here with ourselves, in the 16 years of PDP government in Nigeria the only position Igbos did not hold was just the presidency. We have had about five senate presidents, Deputy senate president, Deputy Speaker, the Army Chief, Immigration Boss, the Prison Boss, Central Bank Governor, Ministers in key ministries of power, finance, education, petroleum and health etc. What has Igboland got to show for these positions other than installation of one Chieftaincy title or the other? Let me ask again; as much as the majority of our complaints are genuine, are we not part of our problems?
These positions don't mean anything as long as we Igbos are still in Nigeria. Nigeria does not work as a nation. Even if you took all the top posts in Government and gave it to Igbos or any tribe in Nigeria, nothing will come of it because Nigeria simply does not work. It's not every time that big units work. Sometimes, it is much better to split the bigger unit into smaller units that might work. We have given Nigeria 55 years to work and nothing has come of it. Common sense would suggest we try something new to see if it will work. That new thing is Biafra

I laugh in swahili. Which oil is in the east? Last time I checked, the only eastern state with an oil well is Imo, and it even in limited quantity. Both Akwa Ibom and Cross River don't want to have anything to do with Biafra. As for my state Delta, na who born monkey to force us Itsekiris, Urhobos, Isoko and Ijaw to join one useless Biafra. The only people who want Biafra in Delta state are the Aniomas. We even prefer they join Biafra because they don't have oil in their land.
And after all your Oil, the northerners own 85% of it and you people are much poorer and insignificant than Igbos.

I hope Obiano addresses the issue of those that were shot, injured and killed by the Nigerian state instead of just visiting the mosque.

From one Biafran supporter to another, sorry bro. During our protest, there were no gun shots, I just got away with being teargased. The Nigerian slaves of Lord Lugard will later come in here to call you all sort of names but don't mind them. A slave and someone who is looking for their freedom never see eye to eye. We will suffer from the oppresive Nigerian state before we get our freedom as Biafrans, so keep the faith. Everyday they shoot us, they just show the world how evil the Nigerian entity truly is and justify our quest for freedom all the more.

Godbless Biafra

There is nothing like 'SS' people, what we have are ethnic groups and unless you call their names, I don't know who you are refereeing to. Referendum do not work that way. Any Igbo can vote provided they are present in Igboland on the day of the referendum. You can't be in sokoto or Lagos and expect to vote on something that concerns Igbo land.

self determination is a right when you go about it the right way...if not, you are a rebel and terrorist and should be treated as such.
Terrorist? The same protesters have no guns, have no bombs and up until yesterday when the police decided to provoke the protesters by shooting them, no act of mayhem was attributed to them. The real terrorists are the Nigerian security agents who are shooting unarmed people. Now, Biafran protesters are being radicalised by the day by the action of the police. Whenever the issue of Biafra comes up, Nigeria will bring violence into it. I had hopes that Biafra will come peacefully through referendum but I'm
starting to accept that violent armed struggle is the only language Nigeria understands. I definitely do not expect the Biafran protesters to fold their hands get killed everyday

Who forced IPOB or Biafra on you? Did anybody force you to any IPOB registration centre? The Biafra protesters have made it clear that what they want is a referendum which is a democratic thing. If you are not a democratic person then that's not my problem. As for blocking the head bridge or any road, that why the police are there for. The Police should have used crowd control measures to create room for traffick. In other civilised countries, people regularly protest along side free flow of traffick with the police designating areas of protest and areas of vehicle movement. But because Nigeria is a backward country with an uncivilised police force, their own idea of crowd control is to open fire on defenceless people.

and if i may ask you? are you in bondage of any sort? has your fundamental human right been violated in any way? well if you have read the constitution of Nigeria and about the war,you would understand that any part of a country that threatens to cede proclaims itself any enemy of the state and hence threatens it sovereignty, blocking people from entering a region is it peaceful? burning mosque is it peaceful? has any of these protesters written to the Nigerian Government? why not take the protest to Abuja? you stop business and put travelers at risk and yet you call it peaceful? When Jonathan was President why didnt you people want Biafra so badly, am igbo but am grossly disgusted by the attitude of my brothers! so easliy brainwashed, look at them shouting shouting give us biafara,we cant even fix our states its a country we want to run, more people we die,if we don't use our senses, people sponsoring these agitations would not have family members on the streets carrying placards.
Your problem is that you have the mentality of someone who lives inside a box. This usually comes from many years of believing you are a Nigerian. You are asking if we are in bondage? We have been in bondage since Lugard came to west Africa to create and bastardise us with the name "Nigeria". The country you call Nigeria is just the colonial invention of the White man and that's why it is a fraud. The constitution you are talking about is an illegal document since nobody agreed to Nigeria in the first place. This Nigeria you see right now has not one iota of legitimacy, infact, Biafra has more legitimacy because it is indigenous Africans who are clamouring for it, unlike Nigeria that created by British fiat. So it doesnt matter if Biafrans want their own country because Jonathan lost or because it didn't snow in Sokoto yesterday, when Biafrans demand their freedom, it must be given to them. Anyone who wants Nigeria can go and contact Lugard in Britain. Self determination is a right not a privilege

You should have asked Nigeria to first ban the part of the constitution which allows any body freedom of movement and expression first before announcing a ban on protest. Your Nigerian Government can even follow it's own laws
