You dont give a toss then posting trash that we are not Yoruba. Why will Yoruba start campaigning biafra for you? Dont you have senators and reps in Abuja, tell them to do the job and stop disturbing us online.
well until our senators get around to doing this, Lagos is no mans land as far as I'm concerned and I have as much right to it as any Awori or Yoruba, maybe even more.

You really think I give a toss if Aworis are Yorubas or not? How will this put petrol in my car? If you think us Igbos are confusionists who should go back to our "erosion ravaged lands" then tell your fellow Yorubas to start campaigning for Biafra.

Igbos are afraid of Hausas? This news to me. The only Igbos who would be afraid of the Hausas are those who live in Hausa land. The average Igbo man seen a Hausa man as an uneducated and uncultured savage who's propensity for unnecessary violence is matched by sheer stupidity. I wouldn't call it fear, I would call it being cautious of an unreasonable person. I remember in a recent interview, veteran actor Pete Edochie revealed that he and late actor Enebeli Elebuwa lived together in the north as young men in 1966 when massacre of Igbos started. He said he could not understand how people he had called neighbours, eaten with and partied with could get up one fine day decide to wipe out another based ethnic sentiments. Pete also said that Enebeli was missing and he went out looking for him and almost lost his life in the process as Northerners were roaming the streets looking for Igbos to kill. Shortly after this, Pete and his family ran back to the east just before Ojukwu declared Biafra.

I heard that they are the original owners of Lagos before the Yorubas came and seized it. I heard they don't consider themselves to be Yoruba. If this is true, Yorubas may not have any claim to Lagos like they have led everyone to believe.

How many of you guys have a house in your village?
How many Jobs are our states?
So their won't be corruption when Biafra is achieved abi..
Most of us earn a living in other states, would we still enjoy this benefit?
If Biafra activist start a war now, do they have the fire power to fight Nigerian soldiers?
How many good schools are in our villages for our kids to attend

Instead of fighting for Biafra, why not earn money here and use it to develop your villages. If twenty people build good houses, its part of development...

If you start a plantation farming business in your village and sell the proceeds in Lagos or export them, its part of development

You keep blaming federal government for every misfortune, what are the state government doing, nothing....

Okorocha pays student money for going to school (is that what we need?).. Can't he start something like Obasanjo farms in Imo state..

Please my people, abeg think very well... Boko haram is already enough....
You are talking too much. You are an African with a brain right? Then go and get your own country instead of waiting for Lord Lugard to come from Britain to give you Nigeria.

Question for all those who call themselves Nigerians............

What would you have called your self if Lord Lugard had never come to west Africa to create Nigeria?

When Ojukwu was championing the course of Biafra he never got to insult anyone. But his supposedly incarnate, Nnamdi Kanu, is full of invectives of an astronomical proportion. Insults upon insults looks childish. Diplomacy is the key to activism and Nnamdi needed to be schooled in that department. 80% of Igbos sees him as a tout including myself and Biafra can never happen with the way he is going about it. Any Igbo that advocates for Biafra is a coward. Let us stand together and fight and stake our claim in Nigeria and collectively rescue it from our political oppressors which are the Gambarians-Born-To-Rule mentalist engineered and ressurected by Buhari with his Northocracy Agenda of Igbo political attrition
If it is true that 80% of all Igbos don't care about Biafra or Radio Biafra, why is everyone listening to it? Why are they trying to jam the station and ban it? Im an Igbo man who wants to be free of the disgraceful white mans contraption called Nigeria. Biafra is the only country I have allegiance to. I have no doubt today that if all Igbo had to vote on staying in Nigeria or going as Biafra, 85% will vote to go as Biafra. Nigeria is the biggest fraud ever seen in west Africa.

Politics › Re: Compelling Reasons Why Nnamdi Kanu’s Biafra Project Must Be Stopped Now by zendy: 5:59pm On Jul 14, 2015
This entire write up by Joe Igbokwe is utter nonsense from top to bottom. I don't blame him after all, he is just another APC "hired-hand". Joe Igbokwe is just an obsolete relic in a digital age. The issue here is not how old Nnamdi Kanu is, the issue is if what Nnamdi Kanu stands for which the actualisation of Biafra, is a just cause. Have the Igbos and certain minorities in the SS got the right to disband any political ties with Nigeria and seek their own nation? That is the pertinent question to ask. Just look at the reasons Joe Igbokwe put forward why Igbos should forget their God given right to self determination in favour of a fraudulent and oppressive Nigerian state:

Igbos paid a high price during the war yes Igbos paid a high price but freedom is one of the very few things in life worth dying for. We fought to prove to the world that we are not Nigerians. It is highly patronizing of Mr Igbokwe to say " please forget Biafra so that we will not be killed again". This is the talk of a myopic coward who has no sense of emancipation. Someone who has imbibed "captivity mentality" and a born defeatist.

He said Igbos have outlet to the world to propagate their language:

What has propagating my language go to do with gaining my sovereignty? Of what interest is to me if a Yoruba or Hausa man learns Igbo? The Yorubas and Hausas spread their language through their imperialistic machinations before the coming of the White man and that is their business.

Nigeria provides a bigger space for Igbos

Absolute rubbish! The Igbos have spread out across the world like a great swarm. Nigeria is like a tiny dot on the earth compared to mobility of the Igbos. For a small thinking Igbo man like Mr Igbokwe, Nigeria is big.

The world pays attention to Nigeria because of population

Another nonsense written by this man. The world pays attention to what a nation is producing and its human development. They don't care about population. Is it my job as an Igbo man to make up the population of Nigeria? Belgium is a country of just 11 million people but is far richer than Nigeria and is the seat of the European union. Bangladesh has a population of over 200 million but nobody knows them.

Igbos control 60-70% of Nigerian imports and would lose that market if Biafra emerges

This is the thinking of a man living in a box. As large as the world is, it only the Nigerian market that Mr Igbokwe can see. Is importation even such a good thing? People import when they are not producing anything. We should have Biafra so that we can turn those '70% importers' into 'exporters' of made in Biafra goods so we can grow our nation not import as if to say this is an economic plus.

how can the Igbos thrive without Lagos,Abuja and Portharcourt ?

Just look at the daft question an Igbo man is asking. Igbokwe doesn't even know that Porthacourt is an Igbo city owned by the Ikwere people ( Ikwere people speak Igbo as their ancestral language and bear Igbo surnames so if anyone says they are not Igbo can be debated another day) and is part of the Biafran establishment. Everyday, the work of Nnamdi Kanu brings the Ikwere nation closer to their Igbo brothers and they realise that the Nigerian state only used the war to cause divisions because of Oil. Igbokwe should as himself what will become of Lagos and Abuja if Igbos leave those places. Igbos don't need Lagos or Abuja, it is Lagos and Abuja that needs Igbos.

I just want to finish this by telling my fellow Igbos and Biafran enthusiasts to Ignore Mr Igbokwe. He is just a myopic individual who cannot see beyond his nose. He is just another slave of "one Nigeria". Let us all see Nigeria as our dark past and Biafra as our new beginning. Forget the likes of Igbokwe, a slave and a free thinker can never reason alike.

Seriously, I don't know if you are being delusional or that you have actually being telling yourself these lies so often that you now take it as the truth. Please, while we are on the issue of signing a treaty, please which one did Bosnia, Slovakia, Herzegovina, etc signed before becoming part of Yugoslavia. Now, go and ask the Bosnians how far with their Bosnian War that lasted almost 4 years. Or the rest of the Yugoslav Wars which include the Croatian War (1991-95), Kosovo War (1998-99), etc. The adage that says look before you leap can be aptly applied here. When you finally get this war you are agitating for, trust me, we will all be losers.
I said in another thread that nobody fights a war for the fun of it. Every war has on one side, people who are fighting to be free, and on the other side, people who fighting to enslave them. I'm an Igbo man, I decide for myself if I am Nigerian or not and if I say I am not Nigerian, I should be allowed to go in peace. Right now, there is a peaceful agitation for a referendum to decide the fate of Nigeria. Should the Nigerian state decide not to grant my people their right of freedom then we will be left with no choice than take up arms against the Nigerian state to effect our freedom. Either way, this white mans contraption called Nigeria must come to an end.

Please try and look up the history of United Kingdom first before u start saying things you know nothing about. Talking about UK, do research on the treaty that made Scotland a part of Great Britain before you conclude. Also, take a look at Northern Island and also read up on the IRA. When you are done, you can then come and tell me how peaceful it is to secede.
So you know that Scotland signed a treaty to be part of the UK? What treaty did I as an Igbo man sign to be part of Nigeria? That's why Nigeria is a fraud. The important thing here is secession, if I don't want to be with you then you have no business being with me. It will be up to Nigeria to let us go peacefully or we fight our way out. Igbos are not afraid of violent secession, we have done that before. The difference if we do it again is that this time, there will be British War ships to stop food and arms coming in and no Russia to supply limitless ammunition to Nigeria. It will be a level playing field unlike the last time and it will be a fight to the finish.

I'm not at all surprised by this story of Buhari supporting a fellow Fulani man over his fellow Nigerian. The Fulani are very well known for their "kinship". I was once seated next to a Fulani man on a Bus from Benin City to Enugu. The Fulani man knew the name of every Fulani family on the express way just by looking at their cattle. Buhari can do whatever he likes as president but it won't stop the balkanisation of Nigeria and the re-emergence of Biafra. The only person that can be made a slave is someone who accepts to be one.

Quite true. In the olden days, there were no kings in Igbo land. Villages were autonomous and were run by a council of elders or "Ichies" who made decisions. Even this council had no leader. It was the British that appointed the first warrant Chiefs in Igbo land That culture of having no leaders or kings in Igbo land still lives with Igbos till today and it's one of the reasons Igbos find it hard to conform to authority.

With the recent movement for emancipation of Biafra nation by many Igbos (establishment of radio Biafra, online reaction and the call of the recognition of republic of Biafra by UN.)
I took my time to go through the map and realize the Igbo and the entire Biafra nation are not sagacious enough in the demand for Biafra nation or what they refer to as true federalism.
Despite the repudiation of some included zone such as EFFIK & IBIBIO, the igbo has refuse to dispel them from the plan.
I met a guy just of recent whose name is Emeka, from kogi state but claimed to be IGALA and also speak igbo fluently.
How come you bear Emeka and not an igbo? I asked
He reply by saying my village is a stone throw from Nsuka but is in kogi state.
This perhaps force me to go through Nigeria map meticulous and make some other research and I realize Igbo do not only have their kit and kin in kogi state but as well as Benue state.
If Igbo could remember to plan to plan Akwa Ibom, C/river etc in their Biafra dream, why have they forgotten their own brothers in the north central.
My opinion tells me that the south-easterners are more interested in the wealth of the ijaw and Ibibio
Let me use this opportunity to remind you that whenever the Yoruba counterpart having a regional meeting, there kit and kin in kogi, edo and delta are always included
Dele Aliu
Who told you we forgot them? One of the demands of the referendum is that Igbos of the lower Benue and Kogi must be included.

Doesn't matter if he said he was going to visit the 'cookie monster', the important thing is that he would have been wasted away for nothing if he had stayed back. To the best of my knowledge, and I have read a lot books about Biafra, I don't recall Ojukwu ever ordering the execution any body. Least of all, the same Biafran Soldiers fighting for him. If you want to accuse anyone about people that died in the war, blame Gowon. He was the one brought war to the peaceful East and Ojukwu had the moral duty to fight to protect his people.

Ojukwu is a hero because he led his people in a fight for freedom. Some of us died yes, but nothing can be more noble than giving a people the opportunity to be free. That's why Igbos will forever revere Ojukwu as a great man. Politics › Re: 13 Interesting Facts You Need To Know About Murtala Muhammed by zendy:
Murtala Mohammed was a despicable man of the highest other. It is a personal disgrace to all well meaning Nigerians that such an evil man has his face on the national currency and has landmarks such as an international Airport named after him

The sins of Murtala:

1) Murtala Mohammed led a band of Northern military officers which included the current president Buhari,Danjuma,Babangida,Abacha,Jerry Useni, the late Yaradua senior amongst others in the counter coup of July 1966 were they killed Ironsi and massacred over 300 eastern officers.

2) Murtala and his troops massacred over 700 civilian men, women and children who came to welcome him and his troops as they entered Asaba at start of the war

3) Murtala despite sound advice and in a bid to increase his popularity led thousands of Nigerian Soldiers to their deaths as he tried to cross the river Niger into Onitsha on 3 separate attempts (The then Lt Oladipo Diya almost lost his life in one of those attempts). Subsequently, Mutala was recalled from the war and sent to London while his men lay dead under the River Niger.

4) Murtala became the first Military officer in Nigeria who conducted a coup to sieze political power for him self when he kicked out Gowon. Even Nzeogwu had no interest in becoming president in his own coup. Murtala then in one of the biggest acts of Military indiscipline then retired everyone who was above him in rank promoted him self from a one star Brigadier General to a full four star Genera in one go. Murtala became the face of Northern military domination of Nigeria.

Murtala then embarked on a mass purge of the civil service where he sacked over 11,000 workers nationwide which included some of the best and brightest.

Murtala was a war criminal, a homicidal killer, a failed Soldier,a sociopath and national disgrace.
