@TATASE: i'd say i want to call her sis cos i'm not close to any of her family and she is particularly fond of her sis. And moreover FYI: most guyz wud not want to meet or talk to any member of the family of his gf,if he doesn't truly luv her, (esp if she just satisfies him sexually), and he does not want to become too attached and/or become serious wit her in the long run. @IBROKAY & EBILA: Thanks for ur advice, I just wanted to be sure abt it b4 i get in touch. |
She is probably still having it pweety hot, since vals day , Hehe. |
hmm, wow! i just got my boat rocked by one of the pics, Time to cast my vote. |
@sweetpie: it is with the right intentions. I av neva thought of dating my gf sister and i'll NEVER. Moreover, she is way older. So,pls i need to knw if i can call her occassionally just to say hi or i don't need to, |
Av met my gf elder sister before, but it was just brief. I actually got to meet my gf thru her elder sister's friend, who is like a brother to me. My gf gave me her sis number recently, I want to ask if i can call her occassionally just to say hi, or i don't need to, at all. |
@THE AMAKA: Ouch!, take it eazy on the guy na, it was just a comment, lol. |
Thumbs up to your smart-a.s.s uncle. He succeeded in finding himself a mistress and turning a gud girl to a freak. |
Nos. 8, 16, 17, 23, and 24 just hits the nail on the head. Nice ones there. . . |
@POSTER: FYI, it z better for a gal to love the guy more in relationships b4 marriage, cos guyz have choices while gals only have options (which is most times limited). And if a guy notices his gf does not show much luv in a relationship, he usually has not much choice but to date and marry the gal who shows so much attention and luv to him. |
i never knew there can be genuine feelingz felt over the internet protocol, most likely lust. |
10million naira! I won't bat an eyelid b4 i sign on the transfer deal. Since there are many other fishes in the ocean, goldfish, catfish, shellfish, lol. |

You all yarning crap abt long distance not worth it, just make me laugh. Cos in my opinion u seem under-aged or maybe less mentally matured. There's no how u can exclude long distance in a relationship. Case scenerio is maybe u both met at school e.g lautech, ogbomosho, she's younger than u, stil in school and u av graduated and working already in lagos. Wat will u do? Change school for her? Or another case scenerio, u go for nysc in the east for a year and she is here in the southwest, will u then quit the relationship? The main thing is Trust, Trust, and Trust, communication and love for eachother and most importantly the 'nature' of both parties involved. Even if u stay with ur gf under the same roof like husband and wife, u can be distant at heart, which is worse. And moreover, her being in the shortest possible distance,i mean even sleeping with u on the same bed, does not guarantee she won't cheat on u if she wants to and/or wired to cheat. QED. |
@poster; Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, at a point in time in your relationship, there will 'always' be some distance between you and her. For example, you just graduated and she's still in school, will you go live with her on campus? Or she goes for NYSC in anambra and you're working in lagos, what will you do? Even if you're both close in proximity,if she's a biatch, she's still gonna cheat on you. The key thing is TRUST & UNDERSTANDING. |
Hello Nairalanders, I'll like to know what things or signs to look out for,in order to know (without any trust issue or beyond doubt) that your gf or bf is TRULY YOURS,and not *dating you and also others (i mean double dating, **not cheating on you, ***or just using you as a 'standby'. I need candid replies cos this will help people reason differently,in terms of interpreting their partner's behaviours and thus eliminating trust issues. Thanks. |
@Aloy.Emeka; Don't want to blow my trumpet, but i know music and artistes even more than those in the industry. And even my mates @ schl know music as well,so bone yarns. If i may ask do you know Jay Sean, Kristinia Debarge or Drake?,lolzzz, |
@Aloy.Emeka; Then i guess if they don't know 'wats up' as you had said, they wouldn't think of buying an hummer or lamboghini. Maybe they would have been contented with a toyota or volkswagen, moreover they wouldn't know anything known as lamboghini or H3, not to talk of buying it. |
@Aloy.Emeka; You're wrong there. Doctors/Med students nowadays know a lot of things e.g fashion, music etc, and now live 'big boy' lifestyle. I guess you have u seen nigerian doctors driving an hummer, or one who owns a lamboghini. |
@Chika & Chiogo; Your profession most times define who you are and moulds your personality. |
Maedan, you are right about most doctors being gentle and hardworking. About being cold and heartless,it isn't their fault. It's just on-the-job experiences and what the profession causes them to become., especially being cold. |
@Maedan; A JOURNALIST and CARING?! , Trying to think out how that correlate but can't find any. But maybe by up-bringing or individual character, a journalist can be caring. Doctors are 'taught' to be caring even if they are 'uncaring or care-free' from birth, and moreso he won't graduate as a doctor if he is not caring. I trust naija med schl, the guy might not graduate until he becomes 'caring', lolz. |
I remember a girl saying,in my campus mag, that if she were to pick from 10 guys who line themselves up in front of her,she will pick the med student as long as he's tall even before he utters a word to start toasting her. I also figured most girls like INTELLIGENT, SMART,CARING and HARDWORKING guys, and MOST med students/ doctors FALL INTO THESE CATEGORY. And when CUTE-ness is attached to those QUALITIES, oh my! |
Also some girls/women look at JOB SECURITY,cos they won't want their guy/husband to bring home a sack letter. Imagine what is happening in the banking sector, where everyone is not safe. I have a frnd who was sacked cos he simply called the bosses' son (his best frnd, even frm uni) by his first name in the dad's presence and the next thing he had a sack letter. There's job security being a doctor (in Nigeria,i mean). |
