This whole "I am Igbo" statement by Amaechi is just political. Make una wise!
Kingsley Moghalu and other competent Igbo sons are there. I want a true Igbo man to be President come 2023.

That's infact the reason Rivers state took the VAT issue to court up to Supreme court level with the suit now joined by Lagos, Ogun and some others.

Imagine paying a State that generates nothing in revenue almost equal, if not more than what states like Rivers, Lagos and co. are getting.. who would be happy with such? they are using quota system too to share money from South for North's enjoyment.

Basically, the Constitution is silent on VAT as it concerns the FG taking same. And it is believed that any item not found on the "exclusive" list is presumed to be acted upon by states.

When all the federal lawmakers in rivers state were given SUVs, Wike didn’t include him. Many Wike’s associates will dump PDP by the end of 2022.

Wike informed the army, and soldiers were brought in to quell the unrest.
It is however possible that the soldiers acted extrajudicially and I will never doubt this.

I don't know, but why do I strongly feel like they covertly provided for the insurgents.
I feel bad for the lives lost just like that.
This is certainly an inside job because the blood sucking insurgents knew they were coming. And why would troops be travelling with millions of naira? Army no get bank account?

Oga, Wike is a senior lawyer (a Life Bencher) who understands the law. His Attorney-General, Prof. Zacccheus Adangor (SAN) is one hell of a very good lawyer as well.

SAN , there is going to be amendment to constitution , now the states are going to collect VAT, state should contruct road in their state and don't wait for federal government, Education(Higher institution ) should be solely for state, Health care only be exclusively right of the state.. state police either. Telling me they should not be amendment to constitution is a lie.

The states in the South will do all these and more if they are allowed to control their own resources.
