Princeboca12: Sorry to say dont u think that these leaders didnt seek counsel from GOD before instilling such a command. the church believe in "Holiness without which no man shall see the Lord" and they try every means to flee from all appearance of Sin. Its a holiness church and know what they want though they might make mistake along the line by being "too holy" as outsiders will say. |

sontoly2: I don't know why we fans won't solve problem from the root, if u see ur striker is not good at air why not play ground pass, are we trying to say we should start inviting tall players cos we cant play one good ground pass or accurate pass.
who ever is shouting on Iheanacho is very biased, the coach shld be blamed for not using what u have effectively.
if u see ur opponents are tall it is foolishness to play ball in the air, against Cameroon we shouldn't try it cos they will so much disgrace us.
I believe Mikel will stabilize the midfield, and why is it that iheanacho is the talk of town? is it because he plays for city? a big club, but Iwobi also plays for arsenal, why is nobody talking abt him? for goldfish iheanacho is Nigeria problem, no matter how bad the midfielders are Iheanacho just must do something to score or get a shot at goal or else he's out of the SE |

Lazyerudite: I feel we all watched the match and noticed that most passes were either overhit or undergo. No one is even focusing on our midfield which is very key if we want to win any match. The fact that people just expect a striker to do wonders without a good midfield is surprising to say the least. You can only score if you have the ball. Bro preach on, most guyz here don't see the midfield as a problemn the only problem they saw on that match day was Iheanacho, for them remove Iheanacho and bring in Anichebe, kayode, martins or even Sunday Odey and Nigeria will beat any team. |

I will rather play a natural CF like Martins, Kayode and Adi against Cameroon. EOD.
On his feat, Nacho can but on the air, I am sorry he is not good enough. the pelzon I quoted said he prefer Etebo to Iheanacho as a false 9. Btw is Kayode or Martins better than Iheanacho on the air? |

forgiveness: At 1.87m Iheanacho is tall but he doesn't seem to fit into our 4-2-3-1 pattern.
He doesn't have the attributes of a Lone CF.
He can't hold onto play. He can't control well. He's not good on the air. Many more.
We all know Nacho has good vision to set up a through pass (I no weda e still get am) oo and he is a prolific goal scorer (though as a poacher in Man City) hence the need to play him at the position to utilize his ability.
I sorry, he can't play as a lone CF. EOD. And Etebo gat all these attributes. I don't agree when people say nacho don't have control give him the ball on his feet, watch the way he controlled the ball before passing to Etebo or his ball control to beat the zambia keeper. |

goldfish80: If we had a taller Striker who could battle and win ariel duels, perhaps one of those balls Kelechi didn't even bother to contest in the air will have been won by him which could have set up attacks quicker high up the pitch against a retreating bafana defence.
If we had a better person up to who could hold up play better than Kelechi, he may have set up Etebo or any on rushing midfielder or winger.
The only time Kelechi got his hold up game right, it nearly resulted in a goal. If he had managed to do this 5 times, you can fill in the blanks........... So the Etebo you prefer over Iheanacho will he contest those high balls or hold the ball better than Iheanacho. |

You have a tevez, aguero or a messi as your false 9 and the midfield keep playing high balls to him, as a good coach you remove the striker or you ask the midfielders to put the ball on the ground. Btw go watch that game again, those passes were so high even a croach won't have a chance even the crosses from Moses S. |

goldfish80: Atleast the midfield will have something to aim those long balls at. I mean the one off time Kelechi held the ball up properly, he set up Etebor for the best chance of the game. Imagine if we had someone who was doing that all game. You get the picture? Yea, we are both looking at the same picture but from different angles, iheanacho inability to hold up ball or get a shot at goal was because of the poor midfield, if you put another 9 there this same poor midfield will make this 9 look poor. I hope you grab |

goldfish80: For me, before I consider starting Kelechi as the no 9 in that game, the likes of Success, Adi, Ideye, Anichebe must have been kidnapped by Evans.
It appears you guys haven't realised that Vic Moses will be missing in the double headers. As a matter of fact he will be MIA for Chelsea pre season.
His absence blunts our attack by a considerable percentage.
If we don't try a different combination up front. What you saw against SA will play out. Might even be worse because the Camerounians are better than bafana.
I wonder the miracle that will make Kelechi to hold the ball up better than he did against a smallish Bafana team to the gaint and more imposing Camerounians. If you can't handle ordinary algebra, is it laplace transforms and fourier series that you will solve? sorry bruv, football is no mathematics not permutation. I'm still wondering why you guy refuse to see the problem with our SE against SA and keep calling out Iheanacho, the midfield was the problem, if you bring in a big 9 this Same midfielder will still hit the ball beyond the reach of the big9. |

Etebo brought zero creativity into the match. Onazi was not perfect but anyone who gives him the brunt of the blame either doesn't know football or is being sentimental. BascoVanVeli: I think blaming Iheanacho borders on scandalous. We did not have a single shot on target, the coach takes all the blame in my book. Honestly Rohr made a poor call by removing Kelechi. He had been playing the boy for 90 minutes all this while and the first time there was pressure he removed him. Also that change had no effect because it was effectively the same setup we had on the field. while some are trying so hard to put the blame on iheanacho, Thegoodjoe is doing well to balance the equation. Rohr removing Iheanacho was a wrong call. Thegoodjoe ia also giving excuse for Iwobi and awaziem so you guyz should leave nacho alone and focus on another player. |

goldfish80: Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho has sent his apologies to the coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr for his poor conduct after he was substituted in Nigeria’s 0-2 loss to South Africa. Iheanacho was yanked off for Olarewaju Kayode as Nigeria chased an equaliser. The forward strolled off the pitch slowly despite the Eagles trailing, he even had to be hurried off the pitch by a South African player. He grudgingly shook the hand of Rohr before heading to the bench, where he angrily kicked at a water bottle while ranting. 20 year old Iheanacho says he regrets his actions and linked it to the frustration of playing poorly. “I wish to apologise too for the way I reacted when I was substituted. I did it for myself because as a striker I should have at least got at least shot on target. “Unfortunately, I couldn’t do that. That’s why I was angry with myself. I wish to apologise to the manager, the coach and the Nigeria Football Federation for my action. That’s not me. “For our next game, I believe we will come back stronger and better against Cameroon. I will improve my performance.”

.............. The young man even acknowledged that he had a stinker. Yet you're making excuses for him. If you can do away with sentiments and emotions, you will be a better analyst. what do you expect him to say, blame his fellow players for their inability to play a simple pass just like Onazi did? Or. Iheanacho should have shoot at goal instead of passing to Etebo. Every good striker will be angry if his team is losing and he feel they can do better. Iheanacho is a winner and hates to lose. |

Even at man city under pep guadiola he has played as a striker so what's the fuss, he dosent get enough delivery against South Africa and people start calling for his head saying he should never be used as a striker this boy is our highest goal scorer since roah reign predominantly used as a striker fear God....Football of this age a foward player (striker) is required to be able to play multiple positions upfront, Griezmman is a SS but he plays as a top striker for atletico to excellence effect so what is the noise...what does a striker do that iheanacho can't?....thegoodjoe is trying to explain that iheanacho wasn't giving good delivery and made very good runs but wasn't feed enough and people be slating him that he's biased, don't know how some of you watch a match. god bless you, when its comes to drill talk I'll never agree with Goodjoe bt as regard Saturday match the guy is spot on. Even for the second goal he was the only one close to do anything about it. . For the 2nd goal, we had cornerkick which our defenders went to contest which is normal, whose responsibility it is the stand with the SA player, Onazi, he's the shortest of our defenders had no business in the SA 18yard and as the most experienced player on thhe field, he couild not coordinate his team. |
