In Nigeria and across Africa today, women today are struggling to find men who earn as much as they do.

There is a shortage of economically attractive men and this has contributed to battles for control in relationships in which the women outearn their men. According to the young women in the trending video below, a good man is hard to find, especially in this economy.

Although we like to think marriage is based on love, they say, it “also is fundamentally an economic transaction,” and women want partners whom they can call their equals.

Two of the women on the panel confessed they'd fought with their partners, exchanging blows over money and control.

There's never a good time to have children. I know folks who postponed having kids until they turned 35 and now 10 years later, they're still having difficulties conceiving their first child. So, not advisable

I’m not even talking about myself, I’m talking about in general. No matter the counsel, at 23 a woman doesn’t have the emotional maturity and stability to handle a home. It comes later in your late 20s. Like I said it’s only the grace of God that help some women and in the long run it always builds up resentment and bitterness. Nobody should rush into marriage for the sole reason of having kids on time. Children are not accessories or toys, it takes a lot to raise mentally stable and responsible children. A woman at 23/22 still wants to live her life, she just an advanced teenager.
