What's d big deal in staying abroad. Honestly, I feel more comfortable at home than this place. Maybe because I have a good life back home. can't wait to go to my precious naija.

Isn't it funny that they'll criticise naija so much yet 98% of their day is on naija forums. 99.7% of their friends are nigerians. 100% of the food they eat is from naija and yet they try to "excuse" themselves from anything nigerian. I laugh in "ogbonge naija accent.

Billyonaire: Try harder next time Mister Prodigal Iscariot, when I said that your intelligence quotient was less than 17% of that of a 10yrs old nigerian-in-Nigeria kid, I was wrong. Your IQ is actually 17% of a frog's.

Next time you wanna insult Nigeria and Nigerians, type in real English. Self-exiled King of Slaves in Diaspora.

half the cube-root of my IQ is beyond you....
you display the common sense of a pubic louse - don't be jealous i don't have to swat houseflies & mosquitoes like you do every evening......if you had made hay when the sun was shining for you, you wouldn't be driving dangote trucks at the age of 50!

Enough activity dey lekki/chevron/banana island/ikoyi/VI for home based peeps that know what's up.
People wey hold pepper for Naija no dey go siddon for any embassy much less get flogged, they have PA's that get their travel itinerary sorted.

The above statement made earlier provides some clues to the problem with Nigeria today. The entire Nigeria
has now been reduced to lekki/chevron/banana island/ikoyi/VI and if you don't "hold pepper" you are doomed.
With that type of shallow mindset, how can one expect the country to improve?

I dont know which embassy this guy and his "peppered" friends visits, but you will need to make a personal
appearance at the US embassy if you want to be issued a visa. Its called "RULES" and it should apply to all.
Exceptions can be made to the rule, but not because money is changing hands. This type overbloated sense of
importance is another problem killing Nigeria.

Perhaps, the author of the thread should have toned it down a bit, but that doesn't make the issues raised
any less important. That said, I do agree with the core message that Nigeria is a sh-it-hole of a country.
If in doubt read the assessment made by a British expat in another thread. Of course, in spite of his take on
Nigeria, he won't not mind going back there. What he left unsaid in his assessment was the fact that he was
probably being compensated like crazy for having to put up with Nigeria and its madness.

The truth is, every real Nigerian will find himself in that place that kills dreams and aspirations one day, what matters now is, what can we do to stop the land from killing the so- called dreams and aspirations?

@OP. You have made your point. You need to be more tolerant to views which are contrary to yours. The simple fact is that this is an argument that would be difficult to win one way or the other. There are pros and cons in arguments from both sides as one's existing status would influence which side one will support.

By the way I believe the guy who said he has PR from three countries. I don't know him personally but his presentation would seem to support his statement. One of my children has 3 passports - US, UK and Nigeria.

Peace

you are a fool -
an abortus could be dead or living(non viable).....put your brain to use & stop add to the statistics of the stark illiterates in nigeria.

a·bor·tus (ă-bōr'tŭs)
1. An aborted embryo or fetus and membranes.
Wow, so much for a literate (@ bolded).
Nonviable fetus: An expelled or delivered fetus which, although living, cannot possibly survive to the point of sustaining life independently, even with support of the best available medical therapy.
.
So how does the above refer to 'unborn foetus' again?
