1) She doesn't know you and really isn't interested in being acquainted. Stranger danger. Ask Cynthia that was killed by strangers she met on FB!

2) She knows you, thinks you are player (some of you are) and doesn't want to encourage or give you the green light to ask her out. Especially if she is dating already.
