If you start another war, you and your generation will be starved to death. Not only will you be starved, bullets and bombs loaded with terminal chemicals will be rained on you. Every living and non living thing in your region will go into extinction. The FG will not tolerate any nonsense from hate filled idiots who want to divide the country because Jonathan lost election. You either wait till 2019 or start your war and go into extinction.

Right! So they go there and bomb and kill the ND millitants and then what? Every thing will be okay? And the people that the Army killed their families will regroup and form another millitants and began bombing the pipelines again in few years time. And the Army kill them again, And on and on it goes. When and were will it stop?

Yes the NA will continue to bomb them until they surrender and find something more useful to do with their lives. If you are from Niger Delta, why didn't you join the NDA? Why supporting them online? You don't want to die but you can push others to die for you.

Some of the comments on here baffles me, some nigerians on here are happy that the Nigerian Army is About to murder their fellow nigerians (Niger Deltans) and we say and believe that we are one nigeria? After the Deltans who might be next? The Igbos? The westerns? The canuri's? The Agatu's? Until no one is left except the Fulani herdsmen i guess. How safe does any nigerian feel? I am ashamed and sad been Associated with nigeria.

Keep quiet and open your eyes to read. The NA is going after the NDA..period. Why not tell the NDA to stop bombing pipelines. Abi fellow Niger deltans no dey work for shell and agip way the bustard NDA dey bomb? They want free money instead on going to school and getting a good job. You think shell, chevron and agip will employ ogogoro drinking militants with empty heads. If they go to school, they stand a better chance of getting jobs with the oil companies. Just STFU

Their demand is very simple and not treacherous. Leave their oil, develop your own resources and feed Nigeria with it. Is it too much to ask? They've been feeding this nation since independent, let other regions try replace them. Leave their oil and develop your own resources period

It is not their oil. Their father did not put the oil there. The oil belongs to Nigeria. Get that into your skull.

this war could cause Nigeria to divide like Korea! you know waging war against militants is going to affect the whole economy because these people are in Control of the Crude oil there! so if they think fighting them to reunite the country will work! Then am sorry these people want to use Thunderstorm to cook Fire!

My broda it's easy 2 sit down in d comfort of ur haus & type crap. NA cannot survive out der in d creeks. We R tukin abt militants who basically posses skills like d US navy seals. Dis guys cme 4rm underwater & attack, dat guerilla warfare in d creeks. D navy shd hav bn d ones goin in but all military establishments are weak in dis country. U tink if d NA wer so strong dey wldnt hav done d work already. Nd btw d pple in d NA are nt like u described, dose ones are in d offices/classrooms because dey dint hav any godfada 2 put dem into d army dey so luvd. Wake up son, shits real, u'll hear scores very soon. D problem wit d militants is dat wen u shoot dem, dey Dnt die, dey've sold deir soul 2 d marine goddess dt protected deir forefathers & deir lands. D pple I pity are d SS/SE soldiers dat will be drafted in deir majority 4 dis war. Hausa soldiers wnt be sent 2 d creeks. Watch & see

Oga, u don watch too many movies abeg! The last time d army went into d creeks, all d militants jumped at amnesty!

An army is trained to fight and die fighting! D militants are after resource control and freedom fighting. Even BH that is ppled with illiterate suicide bombers are being decimated, not to talk of militants who value their lives! What u don't seem to get is, d army is gonna win this in d long run; d militants have a limited supply of men , and even they can't do any production during conflict, whereas d army has all d time in d world to wait them out!

I was more afraid of BH than some civilised militants, who are even trying to spare innocent lives??! Guerrilla warfare is outdated, drones are d in-thing nowadays and sooner or later d army will tap into it! The worst case scenario is, nobody gets to drill for oil in d ND again!

It's so sad that this innocents, including you, are the ones urging them on by telling us of how sophisticated their weapons are and how amphibious they are.

If they don't come out to denounce the claims of the NDA concerning secession, then it will be seen to mean that they support it

Don't mind these evil people. Many of them supporting the NDA don't live in the niger delta, some of them are not even in Nigeria and that's why they support NDA just because of the hatred they have for the president. Stinking biafra miscreants.

May God help nigeria from disaster, I pray that the army survives this trap, I read during the civil war how an ordinary major jonathan uchendu used a locally fabricated weapon in a remote location in Abagana with some untrained biafran volunteers and wiped out 99% of the whole second division of the nigerian army that was using military hardware from soviet union Britain and Egypt causing general murtala mohammed to embark on a self imposed exile to Britain where he stayed till the war ended.

The nigerian military is about getting involved in a needless war that would lead to the untimely death of innocent soldiers, first the army would be fighting against the oceans and creeks, second the army would be fighting against a highly mobile and fast militant group, thirdly the fight is likely to involve other support for niger delta militants from disgruntled ipob members who are vowing to revenge the killing of their members, innocent niger delta people who will join the militants to defend their lands, kindred, villages and communities. Third southern cameroon, might lend their support to niger delta and other militants.

The war looks vert easy on paper but might be more complicated, an example is how easy it looked on paper to capture Ojukwu in 48 hours in a small south eastern enclave smaller than the state of borno but in reality the army was beaten blue black loosing more than 400,000 soldiers more than 4 times the present number of military men and still Ojukwu was never captured rather the army had to resort to an unconventional warfare that required the sabotage of farmlands in the east leading to the death of innocent children and women.

If biafra had enough guns and bullets the story might have ended differently. Now the Niger deltans are not biafrans, niger deltans are invisible and ruthless like the crocodiles of the river, they are ruthlessly fast like the shark and effective swimmers.

Nigeria had better focused it's energy on its economic problems, recession and many other challenges facing the country.

The army might not have deep divers or even a submarine to navigate the oceans and will face a herculean task getting around the creeks to secure oil facilities and engage the militants. All militants need is to puncture holes in the gun boats to finish any invadeprors. While the military would be hunting for some invisible enemies. Who are some what fast, ruthless and proactive.
thank you very much..

Most people think it's about military hardware but no it's not. USA is leading when it comes to military hardware, but didn't find it easy capturing Osama.. It's about tactics and strategies
Gowan said he will crush biafran soldiers in 3 days.. We all know how that turned out

so,the money meant for the development of the niger delta was embezzled by the apc?
Was it apc that was in charge of the nndc for the past ten years?
You are just a noise maker.

Look my friend... Niger Delta is different from other regions... Environment wise.

If it takes 100m to build a road project in ogun, enugu kwara, it will cost N1bn to build same length road in Niger Delta.

I grew up in abeokuta and presently in enugu... The ground here.... Even in the rainy season .... Is always solid strong. If you want to build a rpad here, just clear d way, grade/stabbilize the ground ... Put cement base and tar.... That's all....

You cannot try that in agbor, talkless of core Niger Delta areas. The 100m used in for complete road in enugu will not buy you enough laterite/sharp sand you will need to build in A swampy water logged region.

If you further add infflation / drop in value of naira... N1bn cannot build a standard new road anywhere in the in Delta ... 1bn can renovate an existing road.. but it cannot build a new one.

So when you hear that 200bn was allocated to Bayelsa... When you consider we have to import the machines, steel rods, fabrication tools... Import everythinh...The 200bn is tissue paper... It has little value.

I used to blame uduaghan for not completing the Ughelli-kwale-ibuzor-asaba road dualization.... But now when I'm going home from asaba and see the crazy hills, valley, muddy terrain and rain/forest environment. .. I don't blame him. Even the contractors with all the heavy machines at their disposal ran away from the asaba-ibuzor side. The money that would be required to do the road on that side. ... With inflation as it is now, I won't be surprised if it cos 200bn to finish the whole road.... Its tough.

So the reality is... It will take a determined and visionary leader and "billions " of cash before you can execute durable projects in Niger Delta... Some of the time, it is not their fault they are not working. In my village, N100m cannot build 1km tarred road.
